    The Bottom Line: "Bad"

Firstly everyone's talking about Mario and Lisa's relationship, 'unaware' that he would be entering the house to propose later. Mohamed then said, in a tone of voice suggesting he was shocked 'We were just talking about him', or something along those lines. Darnell moans 'surprisingly' when Big Brother's nice to him, as if we'd come to expect anything else from him. Then at the engagement party, the Will Young song, and dancing towards the cameras seemed to be shot in such a way it suggested we were watching a sitcom or over the top soap opera. As for Rex been grumpy and not entering the diary room with the others, it was kind of pre-empted when you see his motive to drink the can, which obviously kicked under the table will mean that none of the other housemates will find it.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

In the UK series our finales always seem so dragged out in the two hour slot it's normally allotted. However after watching tonights show I think that the Australian formula is right and that UK producers would be able to learn alot and gain more viewers if they took some ideas from the show.

Firstly although the ex-housemates return, aside from last year were host Davina asked them each a question, they are all sat away from the action in a secluded seating area. Interviews with what's gone on since they've left the house would be a really good idea, because they worked so well tonight.

Secondly the remaining housemates watching the show I think makes it more shocking for them when they leave the house then what it would be for a series like ours were they have no idea what's going on until Davina talks to them.

Thirdly the idea of bringing back Ollie and letting the family members into the compound worked well as well, as did the news report. Kyle's presenting was as most of the Australian reviews seem to read, poor, but Jackie seemed to control the show the whole way through. The only thing I would of wanted was more of the returning housemates from previous series.

    The Bottom Line: "Mediocre"

To quote Nikki 'Who is she? Who is She?'. Alexandra tries to start an argument with Becky, after she just backstabs the other housemates who she hasn't even made an effort with yet, whilst Becky tries to pull her weight and makes everyone some tea. Fair enough, the chips weren't cooked, yet why say one thing then completely contradict yourself in the next breath? One minute she's saying how the conversation is over, then when another person tries to put their opinion into a group discussion, she completely dismisses it and uses insults like 'your mother'. She just needs to be evicted, and fast.
