I'm back!

Going away for a bit...

I'm off tomorrow morning to Kerry (In Ireland). Nothing glamorous, but should still be fun.

I might be only going for a week, but we're thinking of going to Kilkee straight after it....so maybe two weeks.

Oh, and the RPG will continue when I'm away..we're now looking for a new Locke, seeing as Mchez had to leave, so if you're intersted: LOST RPG

A Blog Like The Old Days!

According to darkUFO, the UK (Me) are getting Lost Season 4 boxset before the US. We get it October 27th, before the US who get it December 7th. I'm delighted, seeing as its a week after my birthday.

In terms of TV...I've watched the first 2 episodes of Private Practice and I really like it. You can read my review in my reviews section. Also, I'm up to episode 6 of season 4 in Greys. It's good too. Still haven't gotten 'round to watching Buffy, but I will.

With movies, I haven't been to the cinema in ages, but rented a few lately. I watched Semi-Pro today which was alright. But a few weeks ago No Country For Old Men and Cloverfield were just epic. I recommend em'

Listening to a crapload of music lately. I've gotten into somew new bands, including Radiohead, Slipknot and a few months ago Metallica. I'm going to Metallica's concert in Dublin August 20th. It's gonna be epic! Also, Slipknot are releasing a new album 4 days later so that'll be a good week.

Also, life's going great. Spending lots of time going out with friends and stuff aswell as some internet, tv, soccer and guitar. It's all good.

Recommend Me Some Shows!

Hey all....hope everyone's good.

Anyway just a little blog about tv. It's Summer, which of course means lots of free time to do nothing. I've taken up guitar among other things, and am going out with friends pretty often. The internet and tv fills in the gaps in between. I'm having troubl;e finding some of the latter though.

TV. Yep, I need some new shows to watch! Well when I say new, I mean old really...just any show I haven't seen before. One that I can rent out or buy on dvd and watch all the way through. I'm pretty sure I'll go with Buffy and Alias, but if they fail, I might need something else. So, please suggest away!

Checking In For A While

Hi guys..how's everyone been? All on Summer holidays yet? I am, and that's why I'm here, really.

Summer = lots of free time, so you know I thought I'd pop in back here every now and then.

Okay, so I've just watched the first episode of the show. (Not the one that ties in with the Greys episode, the actual proper pilot)
Anyway, I must say it was hughly entertaining. Addison was one of my favourite characters on the show. I love her, she's tough, she's smart and she's gorgous. This show combines all her best qualities and keeps the 'hosptial' drama from Greys.
Some new characters of course, which I'll have to get used to, but I'm liking them so far. I wouldn't rate this as good as Grey's Anatomy, not just yet anyway, but it's definitely one of the best shows on at the momement.
I look very forward to next weeks helping.

Oh my god, I love Andrew Maxwell. He is the funniest Irish comedian ever, I think. He is not well known, only by those who watch the Panel, or have bought he new dvd. I think that he is yet to make a huge break, and when he does, people are going to know him as a legend. I mean, he's just so weird and hillarious. he always gives his true opinion, no matter how odd it is, and the stuff he comes out with...Oh it's just so funny!
There's so many memorable quotes from this man. Oh, if you've never checked him out, go, now! Legend.

The Sopranos is one of the greatest televison shows ever made. It's got so much drama, action, and there's even some comedy in there. The show has had so many 'dramatic' scenes, I feel. The images I've seen in this show, stick in my head, and they make me think. It's a very 'honest' show. It shows how being a Mafia Boss isn't all glamoorous. Infact, the majority of it, isn't.
The show has had so many great characters. Some of my favourites being, Adrian, Chris, Paulie, Tony, Carmella, and one of my favourites - The guy I hate to love, Ralphie Ciffaretto. I think that the show has been awesome, and each season is as good as the next. I feel that it probably could have gone on longer. But, it didn't and so we have to deal with that.
Fantastic show, if you don't watch it, I recommend that you do.

Friends is one of my favourite shows ever. It's one of those shows where you really get to 'know' all the characters. Over 10 seasons, everyone's characteristics and personalities are shown in great detial. I love the show because it's so 'real-life'. I think that it's a very realistic show, and I love that.
It's great, how, over 10 seasons, the show never declined in quality. Everyone as good as the next. Friend's has made me laugh, cry and much more!
The cast is awesome. Each one of the actors are perfect for the part they play. Ross and Chandler are probably my favourite characters, but not by much. They make it so, all the main 'Friends' are lovable, in some way or another.
All in all, it's a fantastic show which should go down with the legends!
Best sitcom ever.

Kyle XY is basicly the only thing I'm watching at the moment, with PB, Lost, Heroes, 24, DH, Greys Anatomy and more all on hiatus, I needed something to watch. Kyle XY had just come to Irish televison, and so i gave it a chance, it was well worth it. I really like it. It's great to see this abnormal 'boy' try to deal with the real world and make a life. It's just like a baby in a teenager's body. But Kyle is no ordinary teenager. (If one at all)He is a super-smart, super-fast learner, and is basicly good at everything. I like how the writers make us really 'feel' for Kyle's character. he's just so adorbale, and innocent, it's really good. I don't know why i like the show so much, I mean there's not much excitement or anything, but i still find it very interesting.
A great watch, I'd recommend it to anyone.
