Okay, so this review is brutally honest. This is the only new show that I have seen so much hype around. I mean seriously, there's a lot of new awesome shows that are making their debut and they're all pretty good. Which is why this show was an even bigger disappointment. I saw from the trailers of the show it looked a little hokey but, I still sat through all of it with my girlfriend. Every five minutes she kept talking about how dumb the show was. I had to just tune her out and watch it myself. By the last ten minutes of the show I was like, "Are you serious? This is so stupid." The special effects were very cheesy. But, that's not that big of a deal, it's only TV right? The acting was even cheesier, which is nuts to me considering the cast I saw. The lines they delivered were just terrible. (No wonder one of the writers left due to creative differences). I mean one of the last thing the Bionic Woman utters is, "If we're going to do this. We're going to it my way. Now I'm now what I'm capable of." What?!?!? (Watch the whole episode and you'll know why I chose that specific silly line)The kicker is the flow of the episode and the plot. It makes absolutely no sense at all. She almost dies in a car accident, the love of her life saves her life, she wakes up and instead of saying something along the lines of "Thank God you saved me," she tosses him into a window and hates the guy through most of the pilot but, don't fret, she goes to talk to him, they have sex, and then she has a showdown with the original bionic woman. What happens in between to make all this make sense? Nothing. I'll be surprised if this show takes off, not taken off. I mean seriously, "Heroes", awesome. "Journeyman", awesome. "Bionic Woman", seriously..."Bionic Woman?"

Was this episode really predictable? Yep. We all knew something was going to happen to the president to make the VP the main guy. But, CTU really pisses me off sometimes. So, does the U.S. government. Jack lays his life on the line all the time and for some reason the guy asks for some help and all of a sudden nobody can bend a rule or two. I wish they had a character on the show who is a crazy badass like Jack. He's the only secret agent that never has any allies. He's a respected agent and is always saving the day yet, he still won't get cut a break from anyone at CTU. What is up with that? I love this show though. It's very fast paced and the shot composition is just phenomenal.

I used to really dig this show but, now there are only a few gems here and there this season. Besides the appearance of the Justice League which was indeed, a damn good episode and Green Arrow sub stories this show is really becoming predictable and boring in an age where that doesn't fly anymore. No offense, because I like this show still but, Superman's story has been told on television since the 60's. Kryptonie, rather it's green or red affects Superman. Everyone knows that but, yet somehow in 2007 we're still seeing Superman being affected by red and green kryptonite. In Smallville we're still seeing him have this love her one day and can't be with her the next day love stoy with Lana. This show has just gotten so predictable and boring. There's not to much to say except for, "What happened?"

So, this is my favorite show on television. Even through all the scrutiny and criticism I'm sticking with this show. This is the most cinematic show I've ever seen on television. It's the show that led to Heroes becoming a good idea to pursue by producers. It's just always mind blowing. Characters, stories, everything. But, I won't ignore the obvious setbacks. Keep in mind there's so much criticism of this show from fans that producers and writers are scrambling, thinking of ways to keep us tuned in to the show. Which is great, it's a perfect example of "Hey, anyone and everyone can make a differnce!!" However, I've known since season I that Lost is only supposed to be a 4-5 season run.Which means all these set up's, questions, mysteries will have a grand finale. But, this is my only criticism. Why are there SO MANY mysteries? There's no way the payoff can be satisfying. No way!! Oh!! and the time change. They'll change it back to 9pm, trust me but, what an idiotic idea to push it back. What for? American Idol didn't beat Lost that badly. In fact, Lost was still no. 1 in it's time slot at 9pm. For some reasonif you push it back an hr. it'll bring in more viewers? Why? Now, there's nothing to watch at 9pm, except for American Idol. But, hey, I'll still check out Lost. It's still a great show. I'll give 'em a chance.

This is one of the funniest underrated shows I've ever watched on television. It's funny because, it eventually became this show to watch. But, since the heavy promotion for the newest seaosn of Entourage it's not as funny as the previous seasons. If I know this show and I know it very well, it will eventually pick up steam and get back to the show that's full of laughs and witty dialogue. Right now though, it seems like they're focusing too much on Jeremy Piven which would be great except for the fact that it's an ensemble show, it works better when Ari (Jeremy Piven's character) is speaking his speedy dialogue with the other guys, now he's got all these long monologues and forces improvised lines. It'll get better though or at least I hope so.
