    The Bottom Line: "Great"

The team opens a case of a murdered school teacher to try to figure out who was the killer and overrule the previous thought that it was a carjacking gone wrong. I loved the story in this episode and the students and everyone who said they were touched by the teacher and actually wanted to try because of her. It was sad seeing how bad the school was and how desperate and hopeless the other teachers were. She got shot trying to help a student by another teacher who did drugs. Wow. That's messed up. Overall, I loved the story and the guest characters. There wasn't much main character development in this episode though.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Jonas, Charlie, and Bob go on a plane to locate a man that could be a target. However, terrorists hijack the plane and Jonas and his team scramble to save the passengers and themselves. Meanwhile, the women are having trouble adjusting. Kim is frantic about seeing her kids and Tiffy is having problems controlling her daughter. Overall, both stories were interesting. I've seen plane hijacking stories in different movies and shows, but this one was interesting because the three could not communicate with one another and had to figure out how to take control of the plane without conversing. I also liked the wife story line - it'll be interesting to see how they continue to adjust. Overall, another great episode of the Unit.

    The Bottom Line: "Perfect"

I really liked the beginning with Jackson and Mike. Then, MJ meets Jackson! LMAO! Susan looks hotter after 5 years! Carlos is a masseuse now. Gabrielle walks in on a massage and sees a guy's single testicle. LMAO! Susan is telling Jackson what to say when he meets Mike, and tells him that in court, if she must choose between him and MJ, she'd choose MJ. Parker is very computer-savvy. Bree uses Rex's last name on her cookbook and professionally. Yikes!... Toby is still alive! YAY! Dave talks to Mrs. McKlusky about her being rude to Edie by making a comment on her breasts. "I say that Edie's easier to get into than a community college, and she says my face looks like a knee." LMAO! Great episode. 10/10.

The King Of The Comedy Kingdom

Last night's Desperate Housewives episode was about good neighbors, and it was a great episode. Gabby was funny when Carlos got escorted out of the party and she told Bree she'll meet him outside. Haha! The promos looked really good. "Tell your son to grow a pair!" LMAO! Gabby's cruel... But hilarious!

I have a science quiz tomorrow and I forgot my notebook. Oops. Our marking period ends on November 7th, COOP Day, so that our grades can be sent to the high schools on time. So, since we aren't going to be in school that day, our grades close on November 6th (my nephew's birthday! ), one month from today. Schedule for that week:

November 2nd: November Sweeps for DH begins!
    November 3rd: Regular day.
November 4th: Election Day, no school.
November 5th: Regular Day, H.S. open house at night.
November 6th: Grades close, nephew's birthday.
    November 7th: COOP.

We were talking about cursing in Religion. My teacher wanted to know about the most common adjective that's a curse, because she knows everyone in the room curses. She asked, "What is the most common adjective that's a curse?" Would you believe I was the first one with my hand up? Haha, I knew the answer, so she called on me and I proclaimed it. "Effing!" I received a "Very good," and she went on to say how she was in Kohls and a wife bought skinny jeans, and the husband said, "Those are *f-word*-ing beautiful!" My teacher went nuts in the store, because she thinks in proper English, it doesn't make sense. Haha!

I'm the self proclaimed King of the Comedy Kingdom. My friend, mulderNscully95 is the co-owning Queen (no marriage involved), even though I'm still a little higher than her. We're just very funny people.

This is Blog 92. The Big 100 is coming. October 14th.

    Challenge #10: Embarrassing but True!

The Challenge: Under the categories Music, Movies, TV & Famous People list a few examples of the things you're embarrassed to admit that you love! It can be as specific as an episode, or a song - or as vague as a show or a genre! This challenge aims to list the things that I love despite other people not being so keen on them. Don't judge me too harshly!!

Tiny Disclaimer: Please don't be offended if you see something you like on my list - it's all in good fun, and after all - I'm admitting to liking these people/things too! Everything in this list is just things/people that I'm relatively embarrassed to admit I like because of the type of person I am.... doesn't mean there's anything wrong with any of them! Also apologies for excessive links in this blog - by no means should you click them all just anything you're particularly interested in. Anyway onto my list!

    Embarrassing Television

Probably the most embarrassing TV that I watch and hate to admit is what I'll ****as "Talent Reality TV Shows" - as a general rule, I hate Reality TV - it's a cheap way for a studio to get a lot of viewers watching nothing but other people desperate for their five minutes of fame... but I have a soft spot for reality TV that is geared towards uncovering a talent. Particularly, Dancing On Ice, So You Think You Can Dance & America's Next Top Model. It's embarrassing because I know the quality of this TV is questionable - these programmes definitely don't represent the best TV has to offer... yet I usually feel compelled to watch them - I love the Photoshoots on America's Next Top Model, the choreography in So You Think You Can Dance and (fairly obviously) the Ice Skating in Dancing on Ice.

    Embarrassing Movies

So loads of movies I love are ridiculous and I know it! There are too many to name, but the movies I'm ashamed to like tend to fall into 2 categories, "Over the Top Action Movies", usually from the 80s or early 90s and usually star Arnie, or Stallone, perfect examples are: Total Recall (stick around for 1min30secs... "Consider this a divorce!"), True Lies ("Did you ever kill someone?" ... "Yes, but they were all bad!") or Demolition Man . They have the cliché lines, the crazy action sequences, and usually a plot which isn't the most complex thing imaginable - yet they are definite guilty pleasures of mine... I love the one liners, and although I may find some parts cringe worthy, it just adds to their charm for me!

The other embarrassing movies that I love are only embarrassing because I tend to avoid ridiculous humour if I can help it! But I just recently (blame my husband who loves these movies) - have taken a fondness for my 2nd category of film I call "Silly Comedies!" - they're embarrassing to me because they don't normally make sense, they're completely ridiculous and don't require you to think at all when watching them - yet if I'm in the right mood... they can be very good for a giggle. Things like Eurotrip (if you've seen it - you may also, like me, be a fan of 'Scotty Doesn't Know!' with Matt Damon), or Blades of Glory ... even Semi Pro. I wasn't a fan of Will Ferrell for a long time - I just didn't get his appeal, and I'm embarrassed to say, that now, maybe I do - but only in some movies!

    Embarrassing People

I thought this was easy at first - but it worked out more difficult then I had anticipated... I finally decided on admitting to a few embarrassing crushes I've had for far too long... the main one being on Phillip Seymour Hoffman! Please don't judge me too much, I know he's not "traditionally" attractive, and don't get me wrong, he's no Jeffrey Dean Morgan - but there's something about him that I just think is just appealing, although I don't really know what! I've also got a soft spot for Greg Grunberg and Jack Black - and the reason I'm classing all these people as embarrassing people to have a crush on is just because they're not the Brad Pitts of the world, in some cases they're more cuddly then most, or they're a little strange/play strange characters... and for the most part people will disagree with me that they're attractive... but I happen to think they're very good looking guys!

The only other person that could possibly go in this category is David Hasselhoff - I want to clear this up right away - I definitely DO NOT have a crush on him, nor do I find him attractive - but I am embarrassed that I like him! I just find him absolutely hilarious for all the wrong reasons. I know people hate this guy, but the level of cheese surrounding him makes him sort of my hero! He refers to himself as "The Hoff" - and he has his own phrase "Don't Hassle The Hoff", not to mention his numerous exploits on Baywatch, or his singing career! This man is so over the top, so comical, he's like a caricature of a caricature - and he doesn't even know it! Pure cheese, gotta love him. At least I do!

    Embarrassing Music

So probably the most embarrassing music I love revolves around the 80s, I've managed to split it into 2 different categories, first we have: "Big Haired 80s Music!" - this consists of things like White Snake (Here I Go Again), Def Leppard (Pour Some Sugar On Me), Poison (Talk Dirty To Me), Bon Jovi (Living on a Prayer) - and about a million more! It's embarrassing not just because of the hair, (although that is a major factor) but because it tends to be a little over the top and more than just a little silly. I however, love it - the hair is so similar to my own (before I've straightened it of course!) and it's always a lot of fun to sing along to!

My other embarrassing music I love from the 80s , I've quite aptly labelled "Cheesy 80s Pop", featuring the wonders of ABBA (which admittedly was 70s as well, but it crosses over well, see Super Trooper for example!), Wham (Wake me up), The Police (Every Little Thing She Does is Magic) and again - many many more! I think this is so embarrassing because I know it's bad, it is after all, very cheesy - but it's so cheesy it never fails to make me smile and it's the perfect music to do the cleaning to! Another very very embarrassing album I happen to love would be The Little Mermaid Soundtrack, I know it's Disney... so again cheese a plenty - but it's probably my favourite Disney film it's so cute, how can you not love Under The Sea or Kiss The Girl.

    Misc. Embarrassing!

I'm not going to talk to excessively here (I've done that already), but worthy embarrassing things I love that just didn't fit into the other categories is the PC game "Fairy Godmother Tycoon" - it's hideous sounding I know, but it's awesome!! It's only a tiny game, and its over in like an hour or two if you play it - but I loved it! I easily could fit games like The Sims in here too, although I haven't played in awhile - it's a little embarrassing too, mostly because I'm 22, I'm married and well... it's not a very grown up thing to play - or so I've been told! Other than that the only other thing I can bring myself to mention is one of my prized possessions, a flashing (colour changing) rubber duck for the bath. Yes they're tacky, a little pointless and completely embarrassing - but they're awesome! A duck that changes colour while you relax in the bath - what more is there in this world!

Hope you don't all hate me now! I know I have bad taste, I just can't help it!! Here take a look at these good looking men and remember I'm not completely awful!! Oh and incase it wasn't completely obvious, I'm back from my holiday! and due to start Uni for my final year tomorrow... eek! Hope you're all ok!!

The hands represent friendship, the crown represents loyalty... and the heart...

there wasn't room for the entire quote or the part I wanted in the title... but here's the whole quote... It's said by Angel in Surprise.

My people -- before I was changed -- they exchanged this as a sign of devotion. It's a Claddagh ring. The hands represent friendship, the crown represents loyalty... and the heart... Well, you know... Wear it with the heart pointing towards you. It means you belong to somebody. Like this.

My parents were in Dublin so I asked them to buy me a claddagh ring I've wanted one ever since I saw Surprise for the very first time Mine looks a little like this:

That's really all that I have to say for now I'll try to find out when I get my computer back but until then I won't be here much... so i'm REALLY sorry for not commenting on your blogs! I'll read them when I get my computer back though. Have a great week
