Ghost Whisperer
Pater Familias
"Series classic"
The most revealing episode on tv this season! It was answers, answers and more answers, but of course being a season finale, we were all left with one BIG question at the end!
Ok, so this episode not only revealed who Melinda's REAL father is, it not only solved (Most) of the underground mystery and it not only brought Melinda and her mother closer... but it also informed us that one of the cast is DEAD.

Here are my theories... some have guessed it was Jim. True, when Jim told Melinda's mom, Beth, how he felt, she could've seen him, however, the now late-Tom character can't see ghosts and he met Jim in the hospital. Could Tom have killed Jim after telling him about what happened... Not likely, at the end, Jim is seen placing his hands on Ned's shoulders and Ned certainly reacts to it, it seems. My idea is that it is Prof. PAYNE who is the dead one. He noticed it annnd word on websites is that he landed an ABC sitcom for next season, so it would make sense he was leaving, or lessening his role on Ghost Whisperer.

The only problem with that idea is that the shadows were side by side, meaning it would have to be one of the end characters... Melinda's mom, Beth... or Jim/Ned (Im not sure which of them was on the end, probably Jim)... So I guess we shall see.

But I will NOT be happy if it's Jim. I really love their marriage/relationship.

Can't wait for next year already!

Lost
Through The Looking Glass (2)
"Pivotal"
The most revealing 2 hours of LOST ever!
Perhaps I am greatly confused, but why did Charlie have to die in this episode. Once the guy exploded the grenade, it shattered the glass window to the communication room. Charlie was small enough to fit through that window and then could've swam back around and underneath the Looking Glass and into the pool area where Desmond was standing.

Now, for the end... we realize that the flashbacks were flashfowards. Jack has a miserable life upon returning to the real world. He tells Kate that they were wrong to get off the island, but she says, no, they weren't. She also says she has to get going because "he" will wonder where she is... Sawyer perhaps?

Penny tells Charlie he does not know of any Naomi, so Locke was probably right in killing her off. And how about Locke and Walter inspiring him... geez, this episode has it all.

Back to Jack and the future. The fact they get off the island and back into the real world at least FINALLY puts to bed the hypothesis' that they are in some version of purgatory or hell. There could still be some mystical element to it, however, and something to the idea that they WERE NOT supposed to be saved...then again, Kate seems to be doing just fine...guess we will just have to wait a loooong 8 months to see in season 4!

Prison Break
Fin Del Camino
"Series classic"
Prison Break has hit a new high after this episode
Prison Break is usually a little slower moving than this, but the quicker pace really benefitted this episode.
I really enjoyed it because it didn't always have the characters do what they normally would have in certain situations.
Michael sticking T-Bag to the floor with that knife was awesome. The way they tricked us with Linc and Mahone and which of the two had the upper hand was also great, and I have to admit, I didn't see it coming.
I did somewhat predict that the Paul's gun would jam during the suicide attempt, but I did not know he would come to Sarah's aid in the court -- none too soon, I was REALLY starting to think she was going to be sentenced to 12 years and that would've made me mad.
Anyway, this was an EXCITING, UNPREDICTABLE series classic.
Looking forward to the finale!

Perfect
Desperate Housewives
Bang
"Series classic"
Welcome back from the Sophomore slump DH! *Spoilers*
Desperate Housewives is back with a vegeance!
This episode was somewhat predictable in that I sensed "Nutty" Nora would be killed off or written out soon, but my mouth was still agape when Carolyn actually shot her that coldly.
Lynette is probably my favorite character on the show, and another fine job in the grocery store.
I also liked how this show kept its humor despite such a serious, horrible event like a hostage crisis. Bree stayed in character making all types of food and making the TV watching into a party... and Nora had one liners right to her last breath!

Bad
Teachers
Schoolympics
"Painful to watch"
The sitcom isn't dead, but thanks to shows like "Teachers", it is on life-support.
Where to start?
This show is miserable filler while NBC develops something better (hopefully) to fill the half hour after a greatly acted, well written show called Scrubs.
The jokes are predictable, forced, and too highly dependent on canned audience laughter. It is uncomfortable to watch because the viewer gets the feeling that the actors know the material/dialogue is weak and not funny, and yet they force out the line somehow.
The premise itself is not believable. No schools anywhere, even in the most ghetto, city neighborhads have such apathetic teachers or teachers with so much free time during the day.
This week, the Schoolympics episode was written in such a basic, simple way, a high schooler may have wrote it.
Plus a main running joke in this episode was teasing/tempting a recovering alcoholic to drink.
The show found some heart at the very end, when the teachers go the extra mile to keep a very smart child at Fillmore high, rather than going to the private school, but even that doesn't work because they spend the 20 minutes leading up to that point convincing the viewers that the faculty couldn't care less about the kids/school.
Just a train wreck of a show, won't be back next fall!
