So next up I should do the top five standalone games. Once again to clarify, a standalone must stand on its own merit. It is fine for it to have expansions but not sequels.(ie Fable) If its sequel or spinoff was particularly bad, and not intended by its original creators it would still be a standalone. (ie Final Fantasy X) If its story was entirely independant and not connected to its other franchisemates, it is still a standalone. I love doing top fives. It is one of my passions, I always put a lot of thought into them, and have a tendency to spend countless hours proposing and discussing various top fives. One of my favorite movies of all time, High Fidelity, had a massive substory told through top fives that only a music guru would understand.
