No longer MIA
The new season on Sci Fi Returns and so do I.
I hope everyone's holidays were well and merry.
I am greatly looking forward to next friday. The 13th to be exact.
13 has long been my lucky number and it tends that Friday the 13ths is by far the most lucky of days for me. Fate take it's biggest toll on those days.
So Sci Fi Friday Returns and it was fantabulous.
BSG is by far the best show on TV.
Stargate seems to finally be hitting its stride for this revised cast. The humor is finally returning.
see my reviews.

Ok Fate wheel is once again in motion.
I will leave it at that.
Aside from that. My rant is about the lack of NHL hockey programing.
At least ESPN showed 2 games every Wednesday. Now while I am happy to get to watch my Flyers only I do sometimes like to keep up with my Western conference teams (Coyotes, Avs, and Wild)
I find that realy really hard with no second game from OLN.
all are now forewarned I officially have NASCAR withdrawal. Dale Jr had no season and I only have hockey and at that I really only have the Flyers (Which who could ask for more)
Alright so I am done. Tell me all am I the only one who feels this way on both sports.

the fate wheel seems to have stopped at the top
So how long till it goes forward.
Think of it as a Ferris Wheel I have been stopped at the top for a few days.
I hate to see how long I am going to be stuck at the bottom.
I have had yet more good things all at work. and the Weather warmed up a little thus helping my Electric/Heating bill for 1 more month.
So that bottom it is really gonna suck.
Not sure what is up with TV.com but I have tried to get on a few times and my blog was gone, My levels were gone and my shows my friends.
That was frustrating. Glad to see things are kinda back to normal.

Fate does it again
Ok. I completely believe that fate when it shows its head can go either way. So this was my fate weekend.
I have lost weight this year and had to go shopping or go naked to work.
I went shopping Friday night cause that is the only night my best friend had free. I got this awesome pair of jeans. It was the last pair in the old cut that just happened to still be on the rack.
Then yesterday I went to do more shopping by myself because I didn't have enough shirts (I got 2 and needed like 3 more to not wear the same shirts every week). So I was in this other store and got the last leather jacket in my size for $85.
I am just waiting for the other shoe to fall. Typically when fate starts into your life like that good and bad comes.
Anyone want to be along for the ride?
Oh and Scariest Places on earth Dracula's Castle thing was great. I love that show I wish it was on regularly again.

Blame it on the rain....
Ok with my trip to Disney World and coming back to the Mid Atlantic region I say "rain rain go away come again some other day".
But do not get me wrong we need rain. Rain hitting the roof is a very relaxing sound (That was the best scene in ST:TNG when Riker said his dad sprayed the hose to make a rain sound to help him get to sleep)
I just would like a little less rain or only at night when I am home watching TV.
OK so anyways now that I ranted. I missed the endings of 2 shows this week so unlike me but I was tired. Shows are maintaining thier quality. Let's see if they can keep it up.
Anyone Else feel the need to rant?

I fel that this was a huge improvement over the first half of the season. I didn't predict how this episode was going to go down. The multiple arcs and character development played through here.
arc one the virus is spreading/ Gen Landry's relationship with his daughter our new doc.
Arc two Cater and Orland stopping the virus.
Arc three Teal'c and Garek.
Arc four Daniel and Mitchell take on the Ori Prior.
All 4 arcs came together at the end and closed off. It was wonderful. The cast interaction and comedy were reall on in this episode and that truly showed.
This episode true heart was to show that only the relationships we have with one another will get us through life. The examples were the Doc's talk to her Dad and that how she finally understood where he was coming from, Orland talking to the Prior about his life before becomeing a prior, Teal'c talking to Garek about why he joined the fight against the Go'auld, and Sam completing a puzzle with orland.
Each of these single scenes addresses that theme.
I can not wait to see where this all goes next week.

Tonight's episode we saw what conclusions to things that were started in the mid season finale.
We say that Helo and Chief were still in the brig and still alive.
The Pegasus took on the Galatica. Each fighters told to not fire unless fired upon. There was some great flying shots in the battle. Starbuck again saves the day in that when she returns from the recon mission they all think she is a cylon ship and all the attention turns to the common enemy instead of the internal combustion of one another.
We learn just how ruthless women can be in the thoughts of Admiral Cain and the President. Adama step up to the plate and joins their leagues as well.
The action and intensity of this episode was fantastic.
When it was over I was like that was all?
Until Next week.

OK I am not jumping on the we hate Rose bandwagon here. Rose had one redeeming quality tonight with her flair for cooking the dinner at the end. Not htat everything she has done can be redeemed but it was a start. I think everyone deserves a fresh start even Rose.
OK I have lots of props for this episode. First to Captain Michaels and his explanation to the twins about Satna Claus needing helpers. That had to be they best way to teach something to little boys to help them understand. I loved that scene. It needs to be in the highlight reel.
Tonight's episode for all of you who did not get to enjoy this awesome episode was kinda like the muppet show. We have Rose and Sandy who are learning about Christmas (they were the guys in the Balcony) from the Camden point of view. Sandy was just quicker than Rose in the understanding part. Sandy tells the rev Camden that she would like to become a christian. There was a great deal more religion in this episode than there has been lately. I thought they did an excellent job in presenting the big picture christianity thing to every one. I also found it interesting that we kinda saw follow ups to people we had seen in the past. Also Lucy, Kevin and Savannah got 2 new pets.
This was just such a fantastic episode. When it re runs watch it.

Again I love the writers for this series. They seem to have all the right moves for december sweeps.
I like that this weeks's case was directed to them by their dad from text messaged coordinates.
I liked that the Shrink made Sam give up something of himslef before getting the information. Don't you all wonder what it was he said exactly?
I liked that the evil spirit when having Sam under his control let Sam vent. I was truly holding my breath when Dean handed him the shiny gun.
Sam and Deam again do a bang up job on investigating an Asylum. They get their gear sn find 2 teenagers inside whom they need to get out of the Asylum to get their business done. Of course it doesn't all work out that way but you get the drift.
Also we hear more from the Dad at the end of the episode but I will leave that one for the viewing.
This is a must see episode in my book hope you all agree.

I will admit that I liked the story line and how it all played but it did feel a little rushed.
I felt this could have been a 2 episode arch versus one but I liked that it was slightly original for them.
The episode starts out with the sisters hunting a demon for Agent Murphy with really no reason as to why.
They have lots of mysteries going on about the quest for agent murphy. The background story while partly about Phoebe was really about Paige and her new love interest.
I personally am glad they found a good strong actor to be Rose McGowan's love interest. He will compliment them when Leo goes.
Anyway. Billie stumbles into what the Sisters are researching for murphy and all the storylines come together. I like how we get to the resolution.
Hope you all saw this episode.
