I love this moment in the year from mid august to late september. It is quite possibly the most expensive and best time of the year for guys like me. We wait all summer for this time noting whats coming out when and how much it costs, how much money we will need to spend and why. It is a spectacle of life I not only want but feel as if I need these DVDs to be happier. As sad as that sounds my life is good school work relationships family everyhting is going well but I want more I want House Season 2, Nip Tuck Season 3, BSG Season 2.5, The Office Season 2 and so on. Is it just because I love these shows or is it because I am so bored with my unproblematic life that I need the humor, drama, and romance of characters that do not exist? Maybe, but these shows are spectacular no matter why I want them.
This episode was made to bring a human quality to the character of Barney who up until now has been very one dimensional and this brought a new level of awesomeness to the character. This episode was not only saying that "gay is okay" it was also saying that everyone is the same. James and Barney can get along really well not because they are brothers but because whether your gay or not you can have things in common with one another. Everyone has their differences and everyone has their similarities and it doesn't matter what they are it just matters that you accept them. I'm not a gay man but I don't bash a great episode of an amazing show for having a homosexual character cause I'm not homosexual. The episdoe was funny and I was delightd to see that Marshal and Lily eventually do get married and Barney is still awesome 6 months into the future and Ted and Robyn are still together. Also to all the reviewers who said that this episode was done only because of NPH's recent coming out that wouldn't matter if it were true and they are not going to make Barney Gay just because NPH is gay. The only reason NPH came out in the first place is so the media would stop speculating about his sexual orientation. The people on the show had known for a while. They would not bring a gay character on the show for the soul purpose of exploiting NPH. The show and its writers are more respectful not only to NPH but everyone involved to do that sort of thing. It is a shame that fans of this show would believe that the show would sell out Neil Patrick Harris so easily. I look forward to December 11th
Ted feels that you should find out the "deal breaker" of your gf as soon as posible to see if you can get over it. Barney thinks its better to have fun and wait to find out the "deal breaker". Robyn refuses to go the mall with the gang. Marshal has one theory, Barney another; The only way this can be resolved? A Slap Bet. With Slap Bet Commisioner Lily in place the two go about uncovering Robyn's mysterious past. Was Robyn Married In Canada? Maybe. Did She Do Porn? Who Knows? Will this episode be hilarious? YEAH! The writing was awesome the story was just great and the best part of it all. Barney was involved in every aspect of the story meaning one liners and innuendo's galore. Robyn apparently was a one hit wonder in the Canadian pop world in the early 90's and has kept it from everyone. The video of her song was just spectacular and I now truly respect the show for being as lame as possible and still being able to sustain its humor. Overall Slap Bet is a great idea. I think Marshal holding his 5 slaps over Barney for the rest of eternity will be hilarious. Also I think everyone should "Go To The Mall. Today!" and pick up Season 1 of this fantastic show that has never stopped making us fall for all of its characters and tune in next week as well.

Nip/Tuck has been on for quite sometime now. I like many people fell in love with the characters at once. Most of all Dylan Walsh and Julian MacMahon as Dr. Sean MacNamara and Dr Christian Troy, both men giving excellent performances. I had not heard a lot about either actor before the show began but I instantly recognized their talents and could never imagine anyone else in the rolls. The relationship between these two characters is amazingly well written and the fact that every other character whether it be Matt, Julia, Kimber, Meryl or just a guest star brings out something new in everyone just proves that this series deserves to be on air. The writing is magnificent and the charisma between the actors is noticeably better than many shows on Prime Time Network TV. This show deserves so much more notice than it receives and I know many people will agree with me when I say; Nip/Tuck is one of the best shows not only because of its stories but because of the people and the problems they face. While some storylines may be a little far fetched and melodramatic the emotions that they bring out of each character are true to life. Bravo Nip/Tuck and I hope for many more seasons.
A classic BSG episode. Bringing many questions with it. Did Adama start the war? Did the colonies want the war to happen? How did Bulldog survive? Will Sol start wearing Ellen's Clothes Around the Galactica? So many things happening in one episode and they still manage to tell each story really well. The Xena storyline looks like it will be going a lot farther than I originally thought. Her desire to die so she can see what she believes to be heaven. Bulldogs return sparked a much needed Sol-Bill reunion and also tarnished Adama's perfect image to if not to all viewers than atleast me. He has been the only character who has almost always remained strong and made the right decision for the fleet. We learn he hasn't always made the right decision. I was scared when he may have resigned but knew Rosalin wouldn't allow it. Lee's faith is as shaken as my own and who knows where that will lead but atleast he's not fat anymore. What will be the consequences for Helo, that was not even looked at cause even though Adama said let it go I'm sure some of the crew would put two and two together and be a little angry. I hope Sol gets off his ass and stops crying soon cause I get it; with the eye and Ellen thing but come on he's a stronger character than that. All in all a very shocking episode which left me with a lot of questions that I know will be answered as I have complete faith in the creators of this amazing show.

The awkward moments never stop. I really enjoyed this episode because it was like the first day of class all over again. With Ryan and Jim's Desk moment. The moment the one black guy saw Stanley and gave him the solidarity sign and Stanley just shook his head. When Karen and Philis were looking for the smell. The whole orientation bit was just awkward and the exact reason I watch this show. The writing is so real and clever. The characters are great and they never do exactly what you expected. This episode really allowed all of the characters from Scranton and Stamford a time to shine and really come out of their shells. I am really looking forward to the rest of the season and can't wait to see how the whole Andy and Dwighte thing works out. Plus I kind of want Karen and Jim to hook up for a while but ultimately Jim and Pam is where its at.
