I think this episodes brings above the amazing talents of the actress Liza Weil. And that makes this episode a bit different than the others, somehow she even brings out the best in the others. He teasing in the hall so she will be considered a better speaker, she really makes it hilarious. The way she says: That is one enoying song... I couldn't stop laughing. But than her complete meltdown on CSPAN makes her a completely different person, suddenly she's vunerable, and nothing like the strong Paris we usually see.

The other two things that make this episode special is ofcourse the big Harvard-letter in the mail. Rory got into Harvard, Princeton and Yale. So this is also a bit of a turning-point in Gilmore Girls, from the Chilton-period to the Yale-period. The last thing is ofcourse the pregnancy of Sookie. The first child for her and Jackson. Like I said, a special episode, I think a important transision to the next seasons. Brought to a whole other level because of the acting-talent of Liza Weil. I feel even a little said that her talent is not always shown like this.

One of the reasons i like this show is because they're real in some ways. They are still strict to their children, and the children still have respect to their parents and other people. And maybe the show was a bit goody-goody in some way, it still was believable. Another aspect of this show was the way they let subjects come up of all sorts. Anorexia, Teen-pregnancy, Having a budget, Drugs even the holocaust. The fact that this show could stay on-air for 11 years, and still have many fans begging for an 12th season might says it all. This show is good. I have to be honest, not every season was as good, but the strength of the show is in all seasons noticeable.

The Bracebridge Dinner
Avg Score: 9.17    Total Ratings: 245    Total Reviews: 14
This episode is one of my favorites. It's set in the middle of winter..there is a snowman competition in the town-square. Because of the snow a whole group of people are suddenly snowed-in and not coming to a complete planned out weekend. So Lorelai decides to make it a special weekend for the people of Stars Hollow. Jess and Dean are there, but since Dean is occupied by his little sister, Jess sees the opportunity to mess with Rory's mind, and it works since sparks are appearing...and Dean knows it. Besides that this episode also reveals the reason of Richard's behavior of the last couple of episodes. He quit his job, since he was almost already asked to leave and retire...unfortunatly Emily did not know this, and finds out when Richard spoils it over the dinner-table with everyone present. All together a great episode with every ingredient a good episode of the gilmore girls should have...Love, Tears and the wonderful characters of the town of Stars Hollow.

This show really changed me, and not only me. The storylines, the characters and the actors that impressionate them. The setting, everything about this show is different and also reconizable in some way. The 3 generations from which the story is set up makes the show so special. With Lorelai as daughter and mother. The extreme rich climate at one site, and the crazy and intimate setting from Stars Hollow. The lifestyle is funny and inspirational for many others. Keep your head up, if you work hard your dreams will come true. And always believe in yourselfs. I can't think of a show that is like it, and i am truly sorry for it's loss. Although the storyline has ended in a beautiful way.

That Damn Donna Reed
Avg Score: 9.16    Total Ratings: 313    Total Reviews: 17
This is a funny episode. Rory gets in a fight with Dean about women like Donna Reed...when Rory has to watch Babette's house she invites Dean to make up and for that she dresses up as Donna Reed.
Meanwhile, Rory's babychick gets loose and Lorelai calls Luke to help her find it. He things she means something else...and Lorelai starts thinking about her feelings for Luke. At the and of the episode we see Christopher for the first time.
