Okay, so a little time has passed now (and no, I don't mean since the last time I blogged.... even though that's true) and I'm thinking about the amount of violence I've been seeing around the way ever since they've put up this 'brilliant' little bar. First, about thirty minutes ago (1:20 AM) I start to hear all this ruckus outside and more four-letter words than you could count with an abacus. Great, I peek out the window being the Curious George of the situation, and lo and behold we have Evander Holyfield versus Iron Mike part three! That plus a group of at least seven or so spectators that do a semi-good job of breaking it up (thanks). So..... Okay so I didn't get to watch (I'm very disappointed in you, DirecTV). I missed out on some serious Flyers hockey action tonight. As exciting as "play by play" on foxsports.com is, I decided to retire to an absolutely extraordinary reading of Michael Chrichton's "Jurassic Park". Yeah, we lost, nothing a faithful Philadelphian couldn't predict however. I dare not dream that we'll be winning the Stanley Cup this year, but we'll be squashing these Buffa-loons, you can't just go away quietly after getting all these guys pumped up with the signing of Peter Forsberg.... plus, Hitchcock just isn't the kind of guy to pack his bags after the first round, ask anybody.That aside, I'm actually not rooting for the Flyers (completely) this post-season.
