Posted by Madarame, 07/13/2006 7:14am 1 CommentsA Totally Fantastic Site: www.youtube.com. A Brilliant Gem of a Website.
As some of you may know, there is this site out there called youtube.com. After seeing and realizing benefit after benefit, I have decided to increase its publicity. The reason why that is, is because there were many things that made it one of my favorite websites.
Reson One: It's free. You can enjoy the same quality programing that they have on tv and more for the price of having an internet connection.
Reason Two: The shows that it offers. I have seen some of an entire saga of DragonBall Z without having to turn on my television screen. I can see the episodes one after another without a break.
Reason Three: It satiates my appitite. One day, I was feeling, aroused so I looked to see what it had in terms of mature content and I was reletively pleased. It managed to curve my primal urges whenever I have them.
Reason Four: Antiquity. I had liked a show a while back called Beast Wars that is now no longer on television. I checked out youtube and it had some of the more significant episodes in the series so I was pleased.
Reason Five: GENSHIKEN GALORE. I love the anime series Genshiken. When I found that it had all twelve episodes of the anime series, I was in an uproar. I have a playlist totally dedicated to those particular entries.
Reason Six: Assorted videos. I found among it, anime music videos, compilation videos such as all of the henshin sequenses of a certain series or openings. They are all good in my book. And speaking of anime music videos,
Reason Seven: Anime Music Videos. I have a lot of favorite j-pop and j-rock songs because of certain anime series and thanks to people making anime music videos with the song I like, I can listen to the songs at my leisure.
So in conclusion, there are so many wonderful points about youtube.com I couldn't not share it with the world. So if you want, I would definately take a look. If you want, I'm on there with the screen name, Nasaniaru. I hope to see you there.

Lara Jill Miller Avg Score: 8.24 Total Ratings: 36 Total Reviews: 7 |
I have to say that Lara Jill Miller is one of my favorite and most easily recognizable voice actors that I have ever heard. But the ironic thing is, for the first four roles that she played that I have seen, I never even knew her name. The first role I heard her play was Kari Kamiya in Digimon: Adventure and Digimon: Adventure 02. I recognized her voice when I heard her play Scheris Adjani in s-CRY-ed. That was the second role I heard her in. The next anime role I heard her play was the smartest Tachikoma in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. And one final anime role I heard her play in was Karen Onodera of the Onegai Twins! (Please Twins!) series. Even though I could tell that the same person played them all, I didn't even know her name. But that changed when I overheard my baby brother watching Clifford's Puppy Days. I happened to hear a voice very similar to the voice actor who lends her voice to Kari, Scheris, Brain Tachikoma, and Karen. I asked myself, is this the same person? So I looked it up, and found out that my suspicions were correct. The person who did all these characters was Lara Jill Miller. She is a great voice actor. I can easily recognize her voice when I hear it and the memories I have of her previous roles, makes watching the show with her in it, that much more enjoyable. Her voice has a light airy tone that is pleasant to listen to with a slight southern drawl to it which is the reason why her voice is so unique and recognizable. The only thing I have to say negatively about her talents is her role as Puppy Clifford in Clifford's Puppy Days. I know that often times a studio will pick a woman to voice a boy character but when Miller plays Puppy Clifford, she does so little to disguise her voice that I recognized it almost immediately. And due to the fact that I have heard her voice as girls before, I automatically see Puppy Clifford as a girl and not a boy. But I digress, Lara Jill Miller is a wonderful voice actor and the memories I have of her and the roles she played keep me searching for any anime that she stars in so I can listen to her beautiful voice again. She is most noted for lending her voice to Juniper Lee in The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Kari Kamiya in Digimon: Adventure and Digimon: Adventure 02, Scheris in s-CRY-ed, and Puppy CLiford in Clifford's Puppy Days. If you haven't yet checked out her work, I would suggest you do so soon. You will not be dissapointed.

Deal or No Deal Episode 24 Avg Score: 9.24 Total Ratings: 17 Total Reviews: 1 |
I must say that this was truly an episode worth watching. In it, many great things take place. The first of which is that props were used to enhance the humor of the show. These were clown noses. This was due to the fact that Bryan Kennedy and his family were professional clowns. The next thing that I truly felt hilarious was that at one point, both Howie, and The Banker both put on Clown Noses. Howie even gave himself a clown name that was hilariously named after his favorite food, “Fishsticks.”
Now the next great thing that had happened in this weeks show was that Bryan Kennedy proposed to his girlfriend. Howie than did one of the “deal or no deal” questions to the girlfriend and the girlfriend responded, “Deal.” But the excitement doesn’t end there. In the end of the episode in which Bryan Kennedy played throughout the entire hour, Bryan Kennedy took the deal of $301,000. His case, 11, had $25. So this episode had many twists and turns that made the episode rock. If you did not catch this episode, you need to hunt it down somewhere because this is truly an episode worth seeing. It was the single best game show moment in the history of game shows in my own, personal opinion. Definitely deserving of a perfect 10 out of 10.

Genshiken Avg Score: 8.08 Total Ratings: 56 Total Reviews: 3 |
In my personal opinion, Genshiken is the best anime show that I have ever watched. It deals with things that could very well be happening in any college around the world. The seiyuu they hired for the Japanese version seemed to match the characters very nicely. And the American voice actors sounded pretty much the same as the Japanese with a variation here and there. It doesn't need any ki attacks or aliens to make it an interesting show. It is just the study of modern visual culture and those who partake in it. Genshiken has a character that everyone could relate to. It has many subspecies of Otaku you may be able to relate to such as a Cosplayer, a King dork, a hot nerd, a newbie, a girlfriend of an otaku, and others. My relatable character would have to be Harunobu Madarame. It is because of this that I was able to really apreciate this show and all it entails. Anyway, the people who produced this show, Kodansha, did a very good job with it and the original creator did a very good job at presenting the life of the average group of otakus and didn't need any tricks or gimmicks to do so. I give this show a 10.1 on the tv.com's ratings scale. This anime is above and beyond perfection. I would definitely recomend this show to all.
