Summer SciFi Shows

Is it me, or do is seems like forever since I last saw "The Dead Zone" and the "Stargate" shows. Now, they may not be my all time shows, but they have very interesting storylines that pull the viewer in. This Sunday, the wait for "The Dead Zone will finally end with the Season Premiere. "The Dead Zone" from the info I got will air new epsiodes until August 28 before going into a 5-month hiatus when it returns with second half of the season in January. Both "Stargate" shows will do the same with the premieres set for July 15 and the Mid-Season Finale set for September 23rd. They, too will return in January. The point I'm making, is that I get very anxious about my shows and start anchoring for them. If anyone knows where I can find them on DVD. Let me know. Where I work only carries The 3rd Season of "The Dead Zone" and nothing on Stargate.

Finally, after my several failed attempts to see the Pilot Episode, I got to see the Pilot Episode thanks to the magic of the TV DVD boom. I have one word to summarize this show: WOW. In just 45 minutes it manages to explain how everything cam about. It's also interesting to see that Phoebe started off as the self-centered spoiled little girl. Look at Phoebe now, she's now a Newspaper Column Writer and taking her life in stride. Quite an evolution for Phoebe. Piper is still the same after all these years. It was also great to see Andy Trudeau, who we learn was the sisters' childhood friend and still is. This episode proved that the show was able to continue in the trend of "X-Files", "Buffy" and "Angel.
