CBS Video Player on TV.com?

I came to this first-time encounter on TV.com the other day. I was visiting the Gossip Girl page and there a CBS Video player in the right pane (see screenshot). I of course clicked play to see what it is and a female voice informed the the "content is not available."

I know it's silly but just thought I'd share... Did anyone see this before. By the way, when I refreshed the page the thing was gone.

Best NBC Monday EVER!

UPDATE: Now that CNET's video uploads problem has been finally fixed, here is a very short video!

Man, was this just THE BEST Monday night on NBC? I watch both Chuck and Heroes and both shows had great episodes to serve, THE BEST of their respective seasons in my opinion.

I really enjoyed the last moment twist in Chuck when [SPOILERS!] the chamber was opened to reveal a not-so-dead Bryce to a shocked Sara and Casey. Just when poor Chuck was leaving her a message to get things back on between them, after that steamy kiss they had (possibly the first real moment between the two of them).

And then came an all new Heroes. I LOVED Claire's storyline tonight and West's character was at it's best! Really glad they made West play a more important role in Claire's life than just the boyfriend who can fly. Elle was great tonight as well, seeing her electrocute herself brought a weird pleasure to me. And Isaac's painting once again came true, Mr. Bennett was shot by Mohinder, however I was glad they didn't kill him off. Nice touch bringing him back to life using his daughter's regenerative blood!

I really hope every Monday is as great as this Monday, but with the writer's strike still on I don't think there is a good chance. By the way only two episodes of Heroes are left before they run out of material so if the writer's and studios don't sort things out between them during their post Thanksgiving meeting, the December 3rd episode will serve as the season finale for the show... I really hope it does not come to that!

Later...

Teleporting Sim!

I have to say, I am really getting used to the new "teleport" ability that your sim can now learn in The Sims 2 Bon Voyage. It's really cool and very useful especially when running a busy business on a large lot.

Anyway if you got Bon Voyage installed and want your sim to acquire the ability to teleport, send your sim on a vacation to the Far East. On one of the community lots there (or even your sim's hotel) a ninja simmay randomly appear for a short time. Click on the ninja and select the learn to teleport option. The ninja will not ask you a question with two available answers, you'll have to select the right one and he will teach your sim how to use the teleportation ability.

If you don't click the right answer the ninja will disappear and you'll have to catch him on another lot. Anyway, I clicked the wrong answer the first time my sim met the ninja. I think the question was something like"What's more important wisdom or courage?"The right answer was apparently "wisdom" but I selected the other one. The second time around the question was"Who should you know better, yourself or your enemy?" I selected "yourself" and sure enough the wise ninja told my sim to teleport.

For simmers who don't know, teleportation is not entirely new to The Sims 2. Actually it came with the very base game, although in amuch less useful version. If your sims has 3 logic skill points or more, they will get the option to "Meditate" when you click on them. After meditation for quite a long period of time you will be able to click on any spot in the lot and have your sim telport there (while still meditating though). However, the new teleport ability is a much more useful one! I am really enjoying it!

In this episode of Lost we find out about the aftermath of the explosion in the hatch, and Locke finds out, through the spirit of Boone, that he is supposed to save Eko, apparently from being eaten by a huge polar bear. In this Locke-centric episode we learn more some mess-ups that Locke has done in his past through a series of Locke's flashbacks. And as the explosion in the hatch was technically his fault, he still has mess-ups to clean even on the island. Boone returns as a spirit showing Locke what to do, we get a scene at the airport where Boone is walking Lock on the wheel chair trying to tell him which of the losties to help, in this scene, we get a glimpse of Ben (formerly known as Henry) as a security guard in the airport.

The most interesting storyline in this episode belongs to Desmond, we get a hint that Desmond might now be able to read the future - a very nice character development.

We do not get any new events on The Others territory and Jack, Kate and Sawyer storyline do not continue, apparently this is because the events in this episode happens in the same day as the last episode.

Overall, the episode was very good and the adventure with Locke was really nice to watch.

When I first heard that creator David Crane (Friends) is back with a new comedy I was really excited even though it airs on CBS, a network which hardly airs any good sitcoms. I watched the pilot of The Class and was not impressed at all, I hardly laughed or even smiled while watching the pilot. However, at its end, I was determined to give The Class a chance to make a better impression, it was David Crane after all.

Unfortunately, the second episode was not enough to make me change my mind, but again I did stick around for a couple more episodes, just to confirm my doubts. Now 5 episodes after the pilot I am all set and free again to watch anything during this time slot, as the only thing that can make The Class better is a whole revolution of the script, characters and maybe some actors here and there. There is simply nothing smart about this show, and after such a great success as Friends, I am really sad that David Crane sunk so low. Oh well, Marta Kauffman was there for Friends now wasn't she?

If you were a dedicated fan of Friends, don't even bother giving this show a shot, as trust me you'll not be impressed and will end up comparing how bad it is to how good Friends was.

In Men in Trees, Anne Heche plays Marin Frist, a successful and well known relationship coach with already two books in release and a third one on the way. Her personal life and career hits the wall when she discovers that her fiance is cheating on her without even noticing it. Marin finds out about the affair on the board of a plane traveling to a small town in Alaska called Elmo where she decides to stay in order to forget and get over the tragedy which happened to her in the big city.

The show is centered in the small town of Elmo, Alaska where the number of women residing there can be easily counted on fingers. Marin meets a whole new world in this small town and might even find a new love interest on the road. Filled with funny bits and very good performances this show will keep you engaged and connected to the different characters.

Men in Trees is a funny and enjoyable show that does indeed bring a refreshing view of the typical in-small-town TV shows like Everwood and Smallville. If your Friday primetime slot is not filled yet, I highly suggest you give this a shot!

Prison Break
Go
Avg Score: 9.74    Total Ratings: 1003    Total Reviews: 92
It's one of the best episodes of Prison Break as the inmates make their last moves out of the Fox River Prison's walls.

Micheal forces Warden Henry to transfer Lincoln to the infirmary and to inform the guards that Bellick is in town for some personal stuff. He then locks him in the office's closet leaving him tied and almost totally unconcious and tells his secretary that he's having a very busy phone call and he does not want to be disturbed.

The inmates have 60 minutes to get to the other side of the prison walls. Micheal leads Abruzzi, T-Bag, C-Note, Tweener, Sucre and his relative through his escape plan and the tense level is very high (as usual!)

Bellick frees his mouth and starts screaming for help from the other guards. The inmates reach him in the last minute and shut him up again.

Micheal starts the Psych Ward fire alarm so he and the inmates can get in there and continues to the infirmary to get a guarded Lincoln.

A confused and desperate Sara goes back to the prison and unlocks the infirmary door as Micheal asked her to do.

"The Company" decides to make a move on the Vice President as they know she won't keep her mouth shut after they leave her out of their plans.

We find out the Nick's dad is still alive and he is the reason of Nick's actions against Veronica. Apparently Abruzzi forced him to get Veronica in exchange for his dad's life. Nick backs off at last minute and asks Veronica to go as far as she can and to try to get to the bottom of the conspiracy. After Nick comes back home to get his dad away he finds him with a gun pointed to his head. Nick and his dad are shot to death by Abruzzi's helper after he refuses to tell him about Veronica's location.

Micheal, Linclon and the other inmates are lining up on the infirmary's window one step before they're out of Fox River when they find out that Haywire has been following them. Haywire threatens to notify the guards if the inmates do not let him in their escape plan.

Westmoreland admits that he won't be able to continue with his very serious wound. He asks Micheal to visit his daughter when he gets out and tells him about the money's place in front of T-Bag, C-Note and Tweener.

The inmates are crossing the wire to get to the other side of the prison walls! They all pass safely. However, when Micheal is in mid-way, Henry is found by the guards and directly demands that the alarm goes on. With Sucre's relative left behind Micheal has to hurry. Sucre's relative falls down of the wire and gets caught by the guards, Micheal, Lincoln and the other inmates are finally out!

This was a very tense episode. I could feel everyone's fears especiall the scared Sucre. Next episode is the season finale and we'll get to see who gets on Abruzzi's plane and who doesn't!

Before I start telling the events of this episode I have to say that I am still shocked of what I watched and will probably be for the next few days until we get to watch the next episode!

While Jack and Kate are seeking a trade with "The Others" they find and unconsious Micheal and bring him back to the hatch. Henry tries to kill Ana Lucia but Locke saves her in the last minute.

In the Ana Lucia flashbacks we find the she knew Jack's father and he was one of the reason she set foot in Sydney. She left her career as a cob and started working at the airport wher she met Jack's father in the bar and he convinced her to runaway with him to Sydney and to apparently help him by being his bodyguard there. We later learn that he apparently might have a daughter with another woman in Australia.

Ana wants revenge from Henry so she goes after Sawyer for a gun and the two end up having sex (a very good technique that Ana used to distract Sawyer from his own gun and take it).

Micheal waked up and tells Jack that he's been following "The Others" and knows where they camp and how they live. He tells him that they can take them down easily.

Hurley arranges Libby a picnic but jis plan to surprise her does not go well and the two have to arrange the picnic again.

Locke asks Henry about the reason behind his actions (killing Ana Lucia but leaving him alive when he could easily kill him) and Henry tells him that he didn't kill him becuase he (Locke) is from the "good ones" and when the french woman trapped Henry he was on his way to get Locke to "The Others."

The last and most shocking scene in this whole show is when Micheal have a small pleasent chat with Ana Lucia after she couldn't shoot Henry. Micheal tells her that he will do it and takes the gun, but instead he shoots Ana and when a shocked Libby comes in he shoots her too. He then goes to Henry's room and shoots himself in the shoulder.

I cannot imagine how a person like Micheal had the guts to plan such a thing. My theory is that he did that in order to make it seem like Henry is the shooter and convince the other losties to help him take "The Others" down and get Walt back. The episode made me more thirsty for the next episode of Lost and to the season finale!
