Everyone knows that the Simpsons started life as a side show on The Tracey Ullman Show in 1987. After 2 great years, The Simpsons made the move to a half hour show.
Now, i know when I got the Simpsons Christmas DVD (with episodes I mostly haven't seen before), I really did not want to watch Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire. I was more wanting to watch Mr.Plow and the one where lisa became a Buddhist. But, then, once I had seen those, I had to watch SROAOF(Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire. I was far from dissapointed.Okay, so the animation quality isn't good as today's pen and ink animation, but the episode is a rare treat that should not be missed by any fan of The Simpsons. It all starts at Christmas. The family are expecting to have a good Christmas, because Homer is getting a Christmas bonus, and Marge has saved money. But things start to go wrong when Marge and the kids are at the mall, and Bart illegally gets a tattoo. Marge uses the saved money to laser Bart's tattoo off, depending on Homer's bonus. But Homer doesn't get it, thanks to his cruel boss, Mr Burns. Homer finds out that Marge has spent the savings, and doesn't tell her(or the rest of the family) about not receiving his bonus. So, to give the family a good Christmas, he becomes a Santa at a mall. Bart finds Homer, and keeps his secret.
Then, when it is payday for the Santa's, Homer only receives $13. He meets Barney, and he says that Barney is going to bet his money at the dog track.
They go, and Homer bets on a dog called "Santa's Little Helper". He loses, and leaves Homer in despair. Then, the owner of Little Helper sends the dog away, and the dog quickly finds himself with Homer. They bring him home,and the family are pleased. The episode ends with a funny rendition of Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer.

I think this is a great show. I got my first glimpse of Pinky and the Brain while i was flicking through a load of channels on TV in July 2005. Since then I have been addicted. The show has such a good setup: one idiot with one genius. Together they have only one mission: to take over the world! Oh, and have i mention that they are mice, with spliced DNA in their body that makes them able to talk. Between Pinky and Brain, my favourite character is Pinky. I mean, you could never get tired of him. Ever. NARF!!!

Listen up,because I will only say this once. Matt Hardy is the greatest wrestler EVER, but people might argue that Undertaker, Kane, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and RVD are better. Matt Hardy is very well known for tag-teaming with his brother, Jeff Hardy. In his matches, he amazes people when he flies through the air, landing dropkicks and leg drops(That leg drop he did in the steel cage on Edge was pretty impressive!). The most memorable things that Matt did were: ending Mr.Kennedy's undefeated streak by pinfall, having that rivalry with Edge ansd teaming up with his brother, Jeff , for the first time in 5 years. I'll end this review with 1 sentence:Matt Hardy should be on RAW.

This show sets a very high standard.It is wrestling action at its best. It makes RAW look "bowling shoe ugly" and it has never been better. With superstars like Matt Hardy , Batista, King Booker and Rey Mysterio Jr.,it makes exiting viewing. It is on the CW Network and it has been there for 6 months. The show has a very defined style, and the GM of the show, Teddy Long, always makes sure that the matches on the show are the perfect quality. People see it as the "lower brand" of WWE .But this is a very solid show, and I dont care what people say, because SmackDown is the dominant brand of WWE.
