Was intending to steal the quiz people have been doing, but haven't had time so i'm just going to ranble some what then post a few pics for now!

So i have been staying at friends for the last 10 days, and being a volunteer at the firefighter games, which was good, even if it was a little disorganised! Although the worst thing happened last friday, i got in my car like 300 miles away from home, all alone and it wouldn't start!! Let's just say a person who doesn't normally cry did!! Felt so stupid, but i didn't have a clue what to do, didn't even know where the bonnet clip was to undo it!! haha! Well lets just say the experience made me realise that i do have people in my life that care! I had numerous people on the phone helping me and offering me money , it all worked out in the end!!

I go to America in 9 days!! So excited! Although terrible news about New Orleans, i hope i get to visit there!? I Hope school is going well for all those of you who are starting back!

So excited for bones!! Have to wait till tomorrow to watch it, which sucks, also got to get up really early so i can go for a run then watch it a number of times all before 10am!!

Another boring insight i guess! I want to blog but have little to write about!! So time for some random cr*p!!!! So im driving to Machester on Sunday night which i am really scared about because i have never driven so far by myself before and i am bound to get lost!

As a volunteer for 10 days!! I am doing 4 events, Softball, Beach Volleyball, Rugby and something called 'Toughest firefighter alive' as well as the opening ceremony!!! Should be a really good experience, something to put on my CV and i get to watch firemen all day, it can't be that bad!!! I am most excited because during these 10 days i get to stay with my university friends who i haven't seen for months and miss so MUCH!!! We are going out together and doing lots of nice things, so YAY!!!!!

Well today i sorted my room out properly for the first time in months so decided to take some random photos, are here some are: (don't ask me why i did this!!)

So hi guys, i know i haven't blogged for ages, been busy busy busy, stupid work!! So what to write about hm........ so went to the christening last weekend and it ended up being not too bad, The twins were so gorgeous, but my sister-in-law was a pain in the a*se!!!!! Making us walk round town in the rain (i refused to get out of the car) for 2 hours!!

In good news i haved moved netball teams (which is sad because i leave behind all the people i have made friends with) but i now play for a team who is in a higher division, which is good!!!

So me and Zala 'attempted' to try and make up a David Boreanaz song yestaday, like the one Bree Sharp did for David Duchovny, but we were very shall we say unsuccessful, so any song writers out there, got any ideas?!?

Im currently trying my hardest to try and watch all episodes of One tree hill and The x-files, but theres SO many, argh!!! I've got so many more to watch!!! and i am sad to see So you think you can dance season 4 end!!! Can't believe who won, i wasn't happy with the second position either!!!

Since i haven't blogged in a few weeks i thought it was time for an update.

I am feed up with working at the moment! it sucks but only like 3 weeks till i leave yay! and only 6 weeks until i leave for my tour of America!!!! So excited . I have been waiting for write a blog about my graduation which was a few weeks ago but thought i would wait until my professional photos of it came back, which they now have but i now can't get my stupid scanner to work so i may decide to post the pictures that i took on the day? As right now i am undecided we will find out by the end of this blog!! Yes i am being totally random i know!

So i saw Mammia Mia at the cinema on Wednesday and it was so amazing, i loved it! Juile Walters was out of this world, i couldn't stop laughing! In contrast to that i watched Cloverfield last night and it sucked, i was so bored and thought it was rubbish!!! I just have to decide whether to go see the X-files movie now, i am so excited it is out and can't wait to see it, but i wanted to watched the entire TV series before i saw the movie and i am only half way through season 5 so far

So i went to my sisters today and she was telling me the plans for our nephews (brothers sons) christening next weekend, and i am now so dreading it! It has become ridiculous, my brother and his wive have like 20 people stay at there house, and they have 2 bedrooms!, they have told my sister she has a 3 man tent to sleep in in the garden, when my sister has 4 children!! We have to go down on Friday even though the christening isn't until Saturday afternoon, but we aren't allowed to get there too early, then on saturday morning we are all getting kicked out of the house so my brother and his wive can have some 'quiet time' and the babies can have a sleep!!!!!! What the hell is that about? You can invite people over with them, making all the effort, i have had to have 3 days off work for this and lose all that money, and then kick them out of the house!!! So basically we have to get ready at 9am for a 2pm service, i have to walk around the town centre for 5 hours in a dress and heels!!!! and believe me i am not a dress kind of girl!!!! I am dreading it!!! Think i'll send up sleeping in the car, my sister is looking for an electric generator as we speak so we can have our electric in the gardern to get ready with!!!! It will be a miracle if i keep my mouth shout about all this!!!

Since most of the shows we all talk about are American, i know myself that my top 10 shows are nearly ALL American, but here in England we do have some good shows (epecially comedies) that i thought i should share with all you lovely people.

Ok so proberly my top British comedy is from the BBC and is Vicar of Dibley, it is a comedy about a tiny village and focuses around a vicar (Dawn French) and her friends. It is hilarious, Alice is just so stupid but you just have to love her! They have had quite a few famous people on there in there time as well. I have no idea how many series they had 5 or 6 i think, and for the last few years they have had a christmas special which i never miss!

The second great comedy is proberly our version of friends which is called Two pints of larger and a packet of crisps, it focuses on the lifes of 5 friends, Janet, Jonny, Gaz, Donna and louise, it is set in Runcorn in Cheshire, and is very eccentric but very funny! Especially the one liners! The only warning i would give with this is that the later series arent as good 1-4 are the best by far!

Donna: I'm fine with porn. What I'm not fine with is enough porn to keep the entire British forces from missing their girlfriends!

Jonny: I thought you kept the alcohol level in your blood too high to conceive

The latest comedy that this country is currently going crazy for is Gavin and Stacey, which is quite good, not so laugh out loud funny but still very entertaining to watch!! It has only had 2 series and i have only seen one so far but it concentrates on the two main characters who met randomly when Stacey called his office selling office supplies and then they meet up in London with their best friends in toe 'smithy and nessa', from there you see their familes and their journey etc, one lives in Essex the other in Wales.

That is it now really for comedy shows but another one i like is a show called Mock the week, it is a British Topical Panal game, i won't go into it too much because it is quite hard to explain but it is kind of like 'whos line it is anyway' , there are two teams are you have different rounds and basically they just take the mick out of celebs in the headlines that week and tell jokes etc etc, it is so funny to watch! They are comical genius's !!!

That does it for comedies, the only shows i watch everyweek on British tv is 'strictly come dancing' when it is on, which for those who don't know it is our version of dancing with the stars but WE HAD IT FIRST, they brough it off of us!!! I have been to see the Live tour of this and also speak to one of the dances via email a lot!

The one other show i watch when it is on is pretty similar, it is dancing on ice, with Jayne Torvill and Chris Dean, who are like legendary! They are amazing, to watch them skate is magical! This now has versions all over the world too, but it started HERE!!
