The Darts have fallen...

Well, yesterday was the quarter-finals for the state championship for 5A High School Football. We lost...

We were playing the favorites for state, so we were expected to loose, but it is still sad.

Oh well, the game was still fun. It was my dates first time to ever go to a football game, at any level. She just moved, and they didn't have football at her old school. It was funny trying to teach her the rules.

Anyway, the Miners better watch out next year when the Darts come back for revenge... Hahahahah!

THAT IS IT!!! This is a call to action!!!

All those who have ever loved George are now called upon! Do your duty to that which you once cherished! We have been lazy, and it is our fault that George is no longer loved by any of the n00bs!

As of late, there has been increasing hatred for this beloved ship. Are we going to stand for this?! I say, NO! We are not!

Just today I was told George is dead. George is dead. Can you believe that?! Would that have been made a month a ago?! Even two weeks ago?! NO!

The problem is that there are alot of new people, while most who love George have hidden themselves away, inside the fortress we call AIM. That means whenever a new person enters this world, the world where George was born, they are not taught the traditions of the forums! This is a serious problem!

So, I now call apon all you who have ever rememberd George with fondness. All who have ever liked George. All who have ever loved George, as I have! And still do! I call apon you to teach those who need teaching! Help those who need helping! Make those who do not understand, to see the clear and beautiful path that is George!

Please, I have tried, but I can not do this alone. Talk in the Avatar forums. Talk about George. Tell all you know about Geroge. Please. This is important. The traditions of this wonderful forum need to be protected from the naive ways of the noobs. Remember, George lives.

So, one final time I call apon all you who know George. Remember, George lives.

Watch out for that pole!!!

So I drive to school every day, which is nice because then I can go to lunch whenever I want and stuff. But this morning I was really tired. Really tired. I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night because of homework and other things.

This morning I guess I fell asleep while driving. (Which, incase your wondering, I wouldn't recomend trying) I woke up when my sister screamed my name and I looked up just in time to see the telephone pole we were about to hit.

We hit the pole at about 35 mph. (I'm guessing, but I was going 40 before I fell asleep, so it would be right around there) Luckily we all were wearing our seatbelts so no one was seriously hurt. The airbag went off in my face, and my braces got cought on my lips and cut them up. And I have some scratches on my chest and arms, and a bruise from the seatbelt. But those were the only injuries.

The car was totalled, it was pretty messed up. And the telephone pole is going to have to be replaced.

Two police cars, a motorcycle, an ambulance and a firetruck all came help us. I was amazed that so many people were sent, but I guess they were afraid the telephone pole was going to fall, and it was near some houses.

Anyway, I'm ok, but it was really scary. Plus it made me miss math, so now I'm behind. And I don't have a car anymore...

But the moral of this story is wear your seatbelts. And don't drive tired. And don't drive drunk (even thought that had nothing to do with it ). Oh, and most important of all, don't eat yellow snow.

Has anyone seen Over the Hedge?

My family just got that yesterday, and so I just say for the first time today. It is really funny! I love funny movies like that.

Anyway, the reason I'm bringing it up is cause it reminded me of something. When they first find the hedge, they don't know what to call it, but they want to give it a name so it is less scary. So Hamie (sp?), the crazy squirle, says "Lets call it Steve. It's a friendly name."

I laughed so hard at that because it sounds sort of like when I named George. It's funny. Thats one of my favorite parts, when they are talking about "Steve".

"Oh great Steve... what do you want?"

"Steve ate Verne!"

"Alright Steve, you asked for it!"

Good times...

Week 6: Chicago Bears at Arizona Cardinals
Avg Score: 9.46    Total Ratings: 7    Total Reviews: 1
Coming into this game, Arizona was 1 and 4, arguably the worst team in the league. Chicago, on the other hand, was undefeated, and the best team in the leauge. Every felt the Cardinals had no chance to win, at all. The first set of downs, the bears have the ball, and they go no where. Then the Cardinals get the ball, and score a touchdown. It was the first one the Bears had allowed to be scored in the 1st quarter in 8 games. An amazing feat. Then Arizona goes on to score another thouch down the quarter! By the end of the first half, the worst team in the leauge was beating the best, 20 to 0. For Arizona's quarterback, this was just his second start, yet he preformed briliantly. Unfortunatly, in the 4th quarter, the Cardinals started making some serious mistakes, and in the end the Bears won, 24 to 23. Even though Arizona lost again, and the Bears remained undefeated, this was an amazingly good game, and if Arizona had won, it would have been perfect.

This was such a great episode. It really began to develop the story lines.

First, we have Hiro. His story seems to be the most important so far, although it is close with Matts. Now Hiro is traveling across the country with his friend. Presumidly, he is going to get Niki in Las Vegas, and Claire in Texas, before finally heading up to New York. Lets up things continue as smoothly as they have been for Hiro, although they probably won't.

Matt really became interesting this episode. I'm glad that he is working with the FBI, although I doubt that will last long. I'm wondering how the government will react to super-powers. It also seems that Matt is running into Sylar alot, which is sort of frightening, because I would hate to see Matt get hurt.

The rest of the hero's seemed to continue on in their same routines as in the last episode, although I'm guessing Claire will do something drastic next episode, but seeing as she was dead, and now is alive; I don't know what else she could do.

This is a great series and this was a great episode.

The teams are in the heart of Mongolia. I loved the tasks this time, although none of them seemed super hard. The tasks really seemed to relate to the culture of the place. What teams had the most trouble with was their cars. It seemed like at least half the teams had some sort of trouble. It is always nerve-wracking to see car trouble, because it seems a stupid way to loose a million dollers. It made me angry to see so many teams not even think about stopping to help the others. I understand that it is a race, but they could have at least stopped to see if they could give them some quick help of something. Oh well, it is a race and I can see where they are coming from. My favorite team so far is Erwin and Goodwin, but they don't seem to be doing great. Here's hoping they will do better in the next episode.

This was an ok episode. I was glad we finally got to see Heywire again, although I don't know how much of a role he is going to play. I'm not surprised Tweener got caught, I was expecting him or Sukre to get caught in one of the next few episodes. So now the FBI is right on their backs again. I'm guessing that they don't get the money, and that they are going to end up spliting apart agian. Has anyone noticed how little the conspiracy is mentioned now. They have the connection with "Lance" but that is it. The first season it seemed like the main thing, but I'm guessing that now the producers are saving that story for the 3rd season, and that this one will focus on them running.

This was a very good episode. While the case was exciting, I think it is other stuff that went on in between that will end up being more important for the series as a whole. First, there is his problem with the girl that is so attracted to him. It seems wierd that she would like him, but I guess everyone can have their oppinion. The thing that I found really interesting was that House seemed to do something right for once and try and get her to leave him alone, by lying and telling her it was a medical condition that made her want him. This dosn't seem like the normal House, and maybe he has learned a bit from the begining of the season.

Second, what was with the carpet. I don't see why House is so obsessed with the carpet. I don't believe it is just because he dosn't like change. It seems like more then that, but I could be wrong.

Third was the toy House was given at the end. I wonder what House will do with it, because I think it will show some of his true personality depending on what he does. It would seem like House just to toss it and forget about it. But I wouldn't be surprised if we either see him play with it, or hide it away.
