I have been a fan of Scott's for many years, and for many reasons. I didn't catch on to his comic strip until many years into it's run, but I am certainly not alone in that group. I have been reading his e-mail newsletter as long as I have been reading his comic. He has authored dozens of books, some of which have proven the depth of his abilities. "God's Debris" changed my outlook on life. His blog (started in October, 2005), has been a constant source of humor and wit for the thousands who read it every day. He is definitely one of my favourite celebrities.

This comedy has been celebrated by critics and viewers alike. It blends fictious yet realistic situations with an obviously intentional documentyary feel. Personally, I believe comedy should have more blunt, apparent punchlines, even a comedy such as this. But make no mistake, this is still one of the best comedies on the medium.

June,19/05-Its back. Possibly the worst show ever introduced to the masses. The second season of Tbs's "The Real Gilligan's Island" has started, and its just as horrible as the first season. This show is as generic as can be. It certainly does not justify a four month advertising campaign. I have never been a fan of reality shows, and this kind of trash is the reason. It hardly does justice to the original classic comedy. It is unoriginal, unfunny, uninteresting, and a generally bad premise for a television show. I call it Survivor costume party, because it is basically Survivor in sailor suits and scimpy outfits.

Made in Canada is by far the greatest television show ever created. With perfect blends of sarcasm, and un-conventional humour, Made in Canada shatters the mold of conventional sitcoms. The interaction of characters and events perfectly fits into well written plots, and an even better sense of humour. It can be appreciated by Canadians and American alike. It was aired on Bravo in the United States under the name "The Industry". Show regulars include, Rick Mercer(This Hour has 22 Minutes, Talking to Americans), Dan Lett(Wind at My Back), Peter Keleghan(The Newsroom), and Leah Pinsent. Guest appearances include: Anne Marie McDonald, Moses Znaimer, and Margot Kidder.
