Attention friends: Making a new account

Just letting you guys know that i'll be making a new account this weekend. I dislike this name quite a bit, so i'll be making a new account with a name that I like better (like my new XBL gamertag). It will be Bloodbath_87 or something like it since i'm sure Bloodbath is taken.

I'll also be making new accounts on Achieve 360 Points, IGN, Team Xbox, Wikipedia, Xbox 360 Achievements, Youtube, and since making a new account here makes an account for all CNET sites, TV.com and Game FAQs will also have a new account. My email will be new as well.

It will take a lot of time, but it will be worth it, and i'm absolutely certain that this will be my last name on the net, forever. The only things i'm not looking forward to are adding all my games back into my collection here and on IGN (should take about an hour and a half together) and adding my pictures back on here (should take at least an hour, including naming them and all that **** Thankfully for my game collections i'll have this account and my IGN one as a reference so that I don't have to drag all of my games out and do it the old way. I just got my badge from the Forza tournament, but oh well, i'll get another badge later.

I'm sure most people think i'm wasting my time but this is important to me, so yeah. I'll track everyone who is on my friend's list again once I get everything set up.

I made an account with the Bloodbath name on Lostpedia a week or so ago and you can change your name on 360 Voice (by sending an email to an admin) so i'm set there.

So this is the last blog on this account, see you on the next one.

I have Army of Two...

And it's awesome so far! I've played a bit of the single player and it's a lot of fun, there's a ton of different things you can do. I haven't played co-op but versus mode is great, it remind me a lot of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (because that's the only SC game that i've played online), and I love it. The first guy I played with was really cool, hopefully it stays that way (unlike Splinter Cell).

I was going to get Bully today as well but Best Buy was out, which was a first. I'll probably go pick it up on Tuesday though.

End of the Month Blog (February)

Well, the shortest month of the year is over and I guess i'm going to make an end of the month blog, yay.

We'll start with my current Gamespot stats...

That would be my level, we'll see how much higher I can get it in March. My badges are there too, I should get one or two more in March.

Those are my stats, i'll try to increase most of those as much as I can.

Games I purchased this month are...

Devil May Cry 4

Great game, a lot of fun.

Hardwood Hearts

Good for what it is, but the computer is so cheap.

Lost: Via Domus

Pretty big let down, as displayed in by previous two blogs.

Staying on the gaming side of things, my gamerscore is currently 22791. I'm going to try to get at least 24000 before April. Shouldn't be a problem but I have been VERY lazy with achievements since last Fall.

Let's look at my favorite game from this last month.

Call of Duty 4

I've been loving this game since I got it in December. So much fun, I would say it's the second best 360 game i've played so far. I will say thought that I am starting to get a LITTLE bored of it after playing it way too much over the last month. New patch just came out with a few new things, my favorite being that now the snipers actually work.

My gamertag was changed for a fifth time this month as well, six if you count my tag for the original Xbox. I'm liking this one, so far, but I obviously liked the others at one time as well...so we'll see what happens. I'm sure I won't change it again before April.

Looking back at my blogs from this month, it seems like it's been a long month. The Super Bowl was this month , that seems like it was ages ago.

I also had to say goodbye to the Live Eye this month as well, sadly. I really miss it.

That's about it for games...but it's not over yet!

Favorite TV show from this month, is easily...

Lost

Don't have anything to say about it other than that it's the best show i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot), it always gets better, and I am addicted to it. It also made me pay $60 for a game that I knew would be bad. That's how good it is.

My favorite song this month was Jeff Buckley - Grace (i'm listening to it right now)

I just have a few things left now...

Games I plan on buying in March...

Bully: Scholarship Edition
Army of Two
Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Dark Sector

Those should be enough to get me to GTA IV . My favorite from this list is Vegas 2, since Rainbow Six Vegas gets a 10 from me.

My biggest wish for March is that new episodes of something will come back to Friday. It's the only dull TV night out of the week (not counting Saturday, which has and always will be dull for TV).

Lost: Via Domus already finished...(spoilers)

Well I "finally" finished Via Domus, after having it for less than 24 hours. Played for maybe 8 hours all together. So yeah, it's pretty short, but not really that bad of a game. I think the problem they had was trying to fit the first two seasons into one game. Everything kind of flew by and made little sense, and it would have been much better if they had just made it a much longer game and stretched everything out so that it would at least appeal to people who haven't seen the show. As someone who has seen every episode, I knew what was going on, but I can't imagine playing the game without seeing the show, it would just not make any sense at all.

There are also a lot of characters and plot elements missing...Boone and Shannon are nowhere to be seen. Michael is seen twice and Walt is never seen. Claire is only seen at the start of the game. Jin and Sun play very small roles. Sawyer is pretty much just a person to buy stuff from. The entire tail section is missing. When Sawyer, Michael, Jin, and Walt go off on the raft, it is talked about once and then never again. Then when Walt is kidnapped you never hear about it after Sawyer, Michael, and Jin come back. There are a huge number of other parts of the story that have been stripped out of the game.

You kind of take Michael's place with betraying Jack and Kate (Sawyer and Hurley aren't there) except it's completely different. You get on a boat and leave, then it ends with a ending that you would expect in Lost.

I would say even if you're a huge Lost fan, rent it, unless you only like buying games like myself. I would give it a 6/10.

Guess that's my review, i'll change it around and make it an actual review on the site.

Lost: Via Domus

So, I got Lost: Via Domus today, reason being that I LOVE the show. I've played it for a bit now and it is definitely only for people who watch the show. If someone who has never watched the show played the game they would be completely lost (no pun intended). Graphics are kind of last gen and movement can be kind of clunky at times. Voices either sound very much like the actual actors or nothing like them. Those are the only negative things at this point, the story seems to be moving along well and the gameplay is fun. I'll probably get the full 1000 on this game.

Yay, Lost is finally back. This episode was a little less than I thought it would be, but I was in no way let down.

The episode started with a flash forward with Jack watching the news, which has someone leading the police on a wild chase, the car crashes, and out comes Hurley, saying he was one of the Oceanic 6. So now it seems like we know that only six will make it off of the island, Jack, Kate, Hurley...and 3 more.

I thought all of the flash forwards were good, with Hurley in the mental institution and seeing Charlie (which is confusing), the best part was the end when Hurley told Jack that "they shouldn't have left".

Back on the island, the survivors deal with the death of Charlie, and have to make choices about their future.

After Desmond tells Sawyer, Sayid, Jin, Bernard, and Hurley about Charlie and the message he left, they seem to decide that the possible rescue isn't such a good idea. After Hurley gets lost in the forest, he ends up at Jacob's cabin, where he also runs into Locke, who I think was inside of Jacob's cabin. Speaking of Jacob, we also saw him in the rocking chair. Locke and Hurley agree that Jack should have never picked up that radio, and move along.

On the other side, we have the rest of the group (excluding the ones I mentioned at the top of the last paragraph) happy about being rescued. After Naomi disappears, Jack, Rousseau, and Ben (who is dragged along) search for her. Jack told the guy on the radio that Naomi was gathering fire wood, which later led to Ben delivering my favorite line of the episode, "I guess you should tell him that she's gathering a huge load of fire wood". He gave a lot of good lines in this episode, as always. He also tell Jack of how Kate took his radio and went off to search for Naomi on her own. She finds her, and Naomi fixes a problem with the phone (after holding a knife to Kate's throat) and then dies.

At the end of the episode we have everyone together, where they split up between Jack (who thinks the people on the boat will save them) and Locke (who thinks the people on the boat are coming to kill them). I really loved this part, and it will be great to see where it goes.

Also, Hurley tells Jack at the end of the last flash forward that he was sorry for going with Locke, so this will probably not end well for them. Either way, this show is going to be great for us.

...and it's Brian, the priest! That's who I thought it was, and i'm glad I was right. I really didn't want it to be Karen or the twins. There wasn't much bonding between brothers here, but Nick did give Brian his father's watch, which he gave to his son, whom he had to say goodbye to, and tha was sad to watch. I was really hoping that he would be able to keep his son, but maybe some other time.

Karen and Simon Elder are kind of together now, I guess. That's a little strange. Maybe it will be over before it starts though, next week.

I really want Jeremy to tell Sofia who he is, she already likes him so it couldn't hurt, but he needs to do it soon before he digs himself any deeper with the whole painter thing.

It was cool to see Sylar kill Alejandro and then kiss Maya. I guess Sylar could take his powers but they are a little useless since Maya thinks she can control her power now, I guess he could still use them though.

I'm glad that Mohinder saved HRG, he shouldn't come back until next season though. It would just be better that way, and I don't think he'll be coming back next week anyway, Claire was probably imagining what she saw in the previews.

I liked Peter and Adam's storyline, well, I always like Peter...so yeah. I liked seeing him defend Adam at the end against Hiro, and it will be interesting to see where it goes next week.

I loved Matthew Bomer on Traveler and I was glad to see that he was going to be on this show, and he didn't disappoint at all.

The character all go together so well, better than most that i've seen. They're all great, and Bryce was a good addition for this episode. The klingon was funny to listen to, and it came in handy when Chuck was shot by Bryce...while he had on a bullet proof best, of course. That was one of the best parts of this episode, it was really great to see and a little surprising.

I was hoping that Bryce would stick around, but he didn't, and he left Sarah to pick between him and Chuck...and we have to wait until next week to see who she picks. I can't wait!

I was kind of skeptical about Frankie Muniz at first, but he played this part perfectly..I was amazed. He really couldn't have been better. I loved the scenes from his past, showing what happened to him and his girlfriend several months ago. At first I thought he was imagining it, but he wasn't.

He killed the gang members responsible for his girlfriend's death, but I didn't know that until the very end of the episode. I love revenge, and that is what this episode was about. Johnny getting revenge for what happened months ago.

The constant phone calls to his dead girlfriend was amazing as well, especially since I didn't find out that she was dead until the end.

Overall, this was a VERY good episode that shouldn't be missed by anyone.
