I LOVE Veronica Mars - the acting, the storylines, the humor, the relationships, the intrigue, the creativity, the originality...all of it. It is beyond belief to me that crap like The Apprentice gets brought back, and a series of horrendous looking shows get on the air, and Veronica Mars couldn't even get considered for a reentry in mid-season like One Tree Hill?? Good luck to the CW finding a credible cult favorite like this one, a lead actor who can carry a show like Kirsten Bell, similar chemistry between the characters, and writing that can even dare compare. My only comfort is knowing that at least I can catch Amanda Seyfried, Tina Majorino, and Kyle Gallner on Big Love, and that Kristen Bell and Jason Dohring have gotten new jobs!

This episode was SO exciting - my mouth was hanging open for the entire last five minutes. Karen is pregnant...and someone else might be too, but they leave you thinking it could be Rachel, Brooke, and/or Haley. Deb tells Dan that she is the one who tried to kill him after finding out he thinks it was Dan (he has no reaction except to finally feel guilty about Keith.) The Rachel/Cooper storyline is a little ridiculous, but I guess it was necessary for the finale, in which the two fly off a cliff and Nathan dives in to save them...and doesn't re-emerge. The image of Haley screaming on the bridge in her wedding dress was totally chills-inducing - very fine performances by both her and Nathan. Also, Brooke tells Peyton their friendship is over after Lucas accidentally tells her that the two of them kissed in the library.

Also, totally out of nowhere, Dan comes home (?) to find the word "murderer" painted in blood red on the walls - it's barely addressed and there's no one they lead you to think it could be so this scene doesn't really fit, but presumably this will be interesting next season, and you better believe I'll be glued to the season premiere...assuming CW picks it up, of course.
