The Show MOONLIGHT is, beside the charming lovestory, really wonderful. The whole Vampire-thing has been made much more complex since the vampires are able to walk during daytime. Theyīre living among us, more or less unrecognized and they do have to deal with the world like humans have to(earn money)but still they are mysterious. They got supernatural powers which make them kind of invincible, but also fall in love,hate each other (so they appear with human feelings, what makes them only more attractive)

I donīt understand why so many people relate the show to Angel (the Buffy Spin-off). Itīs not like Angel at all. Mike is a (Vampire-) PI, yes, but he cares about "normal" cases aswell as about supernatural stuff.
Angel and his friends are only into this "supernatural-the ultimate evil-save the world-thing". This, altough I admire Whedon for Buffy and Firefly, has become kind of annoying. Itīs always the same, something evil occurs, more devilish like ever before, everything seems just like hopeless but then in the end...yes, angel would save us all.

Yes, Moonlight has some weak parts. For example Iīd like to have the characters much more round and complex,i want to know more about their true intentions. At the moment they are a bit flat, but the show has just started...so GIVE IT A CHANCE.
(A freaky, but lovely character like Abby (NCIS) would be great to light the show up, and bring some comedy in it (but not too much, just a little bit.) Still, the show has great potential, the vampire myth was and i think will always be attractive to people.
How does a Vampire experiences the world? What looks the world like if you are on the "dark side of life".
Whatīs the point in being a vampire? How does it feel to have such powers, to become a vampire after all? So many questions and the answer could be found in Moonlight.^^
