This is a amazing episode in which, after winning a game of trivial pursuit, Peter believes himself to be a Genius. But after taking an intelligence test, suggested by Brian-wanting to prove to Peter that he is a dumbass, Peter discovers he is actually below the line of mental retardation. Yes, Peter is a retard He then goes on to lose his kids and put his wife in hospital before then getting everything back at the end of the episode.

What makes this episode so great is that it is possibly the funniest idea Family Guy has ever come up with. Peter being identified as a retard means they can do gag after glorious gag of Peter being a complete idiot. It means that they can be even more outrageous than ever. And that is why this is such a great episode.

Family Guy

Family Guy is a truly amazing show full to the brim of sadistic, rude and crude comedy, completely devoid of any sort of political correctness. It pushes all the boundaries with its many edgy, yet hilarious, punch lines and its outrageous characters. It is certainly better than any other American Animated Comedy, and makes the likes of the Simpsons look pathetic. The result of all of this astoundingly provocative humour is, to date, two cancellation and three lawsuits, but despite all of this Family Guy is still going strong.

Some of the characters, created by the genius mind of Seth Macfarlane that make this show what it is, include the main characters: Peter Griffin, Lois Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Chris Griffin, and Meg Griffin, and the Sub Main Characters: Glenn Quagmire, Joe Swanson and Cleveland Brown.

Peter Griffin, voiced by Seth Macfarlane, is an idiotic, fat, lazy, drunken slob who always speaks his mind, and by doing so always makes you laugh. But despite all of his flaws, deep down is a loving, caring, and understanding personality that pops up now and again, often towards the end of an episode in which the plot revolves around something bad that he has done, e.g. benefit fraud in the very first episode of Family Guy (first aired on 31st January 1999), 'Death Has A Shadow'. He is, indeed, the exaggerated version of Homer Simpson.

Lois Griffin, voiced by Alex Borstein, is very much the modern housewife born into a family of wealth, the pewterschmidts, but gave up all of it when she married Peter. She is a Woman with a very complex personality, most of the time she is a caring, loving mother who would do anything for her family, but sometimes, if you're lucky, you will see her in some episode revealing her darker side, e.g. in the episode 'The Son Also Draws' (first aired on 9th May 1999), when she becomes addicted to gambling.

Brian Griffin, voiced by Seth Macfarlane, is a talking dog who was first found by Peter living on the streets and washing car windscreens for money. He is a dog that likes his booze, and when depressed always slips a few down the hatch to heal his wounds. He also has a thing for Lois, and in the episode 'The Perfect Castaway' (first aired on 18th September 2005), actually marries her, after Peter is thought to have died out at sea.

Stewie Griffin, voiced by Seth Macfarlane, is an evil baby that will not be content until he has killed his mother Lois and taken over the world. And if it wasn't for him only being a one year old baby, then he would already have done, (although this thought is contradicted in the film when he meets his future self). He does however have other sides to his personality, e.g. in the episode 'Stewie Loves Lois' (first aired on 10th September 2006) in which he becomes obsessed with Lois (in a loving way) after she mends his teddy bear Rupert. And in episodes like 'Deep Throats' (first aired on 9th April 2006) and 'Saving Private Brian' (first aired on 5th November 2006), in which hints of unsuspected gayness pop up.

Chris Griffin, voiced by Seth Green, is physically a teenage version of his father Peter, however his actual personality is quite different. Like his dad he is a complete idiot, but in a different way, Peter says and does stupid things, whereas Chris mainly just says INCREDIBLY stupid and INCREDIBLY random things (babyish is a good way to describe some of the things he comes out with. However his intelligence does get quite confusing when he often comes out with long strings of intelligent conversation to the amazement and shock of the viewers. He also has an unusual talent for art, which is the centre of the plot for the episode 'A Picture Is Worth 1,000 Bucks' (first aired on 18th April 2000, in which he becomes the famous artist Christobell.

Meg Griffin, voiced by Lacey Chabert in season one (uncredited) and Mila Kunis from season two onwards, is an unpopular nobody who is always the butt of many jokes in the Griffin household. She finds it hard to fit in, and is constantly worrying about her looks and her non-existent love-life, and is always trying to find a place in the 'popular crowd'. Unlike the other Griffins her character is not particularly complicated and therefore there isn't really much else to say.

Glenn Quagmire, voiced by Seth Macfarlane, is a sex crazed pervert who would screw just about any girl with a pretty face and a decent pair of jugs (I apologise to any females reading this, but that really is how he is). He is also one of Peter's best friends and is famous for the lines "Giggity" and "Awwwwwww Right". He, like Brian, is also hung up on Lois, and is always trying to get his hands on strands of her hair, pictures of her in lingerie, and her toenail clippings. In the episode 'Meet The Quagmires' (first aired on 20th May 2007) in which Peter goes back in time and affects the present, so that he is married to an actress and Quagmire is married to Lois (the result of this is that all of the Griffin children have chins like Quagmire's).

Joe Swanson, voiced by Patrick Warburton, is a cripple bound to a wheelchair (obviously) due to a fight with a Grinch sort of creature on top of a roof of an orphanage at Christmas-shown in the episode 'A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas' (first aired on 21st December 2001). He is obsessed with his work as a policeman, and action films, and often spurts out what he wants to say in a loud violent manner when he is excited, angry, or tense. He is married to Bonnie Swanson (who is somehow always pregnant, with the SAME baby), and is another of Peter's best friends (of whish there are three: him, Quagmire, and Cleveland).

And finally, Cleveland Brown, voiced by Mike Henry (VI), is a Black man who strongly supports equality, and used to be married to Loretta Brown, who in the episode 'The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire' (first aired on 12th June 2005) in which she had had an affair with Quagmire (because Cleveland was not satisfying her sexual needs), and then later split up with Cleveland, never to be seen again. Cleveland is yet another one of Peter's best friends and has a slow boring voice due to a blow on the head that he got from a totem pole on sale at an auction he was auctioneer at.

And so to conclude FAMILY GUY RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
