I have become a huge fan of Cold Case. Part of it is the actual show, the other part is Tracie Thoms, who I enjoy. Episode 1.6 is on -- Love Conquers Al -- and I realized it was Scotty's first. So I went back to the ep guide in order to see what happened. Come to find out, Justin Chambers was the person who Scotty replaced. The show explains Chambers' disappearance saying that he needed day work because of his diabetes. What really happened was none other than Grey's Anatomy. Chambers character was not even written into the series until a test market showed that there was a desire for another male intern. First of all, I finally have a profile that looks more like me. But I digress... already. The article on the Baby Borrowers was touting the apparent psychological harm being done on the kids from spending a few days in the teens' care. I posted to the show page about it, but in a nutshell that's a big bunch of silliiness in my opinion. The article was saying that the kids were losing attatchment time with their parents by being away from them. I wonder if the people saying this are also opposed to babysitting. Just a thought. As someone who works in the mental health field, I can honestly say that 2 days in the care of someone else will do no harm. Especially when these kids are being followed by a professional nanny and watched by their own parents. Hello. The idea makes me a... Read more »
