MY REVIEWS

  • show: ER

    episode: Jigsaw

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Mid way through Season 13, ER presents us with this episode. At first i wasn't sure about it - there were too many little storylines without the story actually moving forward.

Then you get to the last scene in the episode, with Morris talking to his patient. Never have i loved Morris more. This character is usually the one that everybody laughs at, and is usually not very serious. But when he talks to Andre about his Hot Wheels, my heart just melts.

Even though this episode has some great moments from other characters, such as Ames talking with Abby, and a development on the Gates / Neela storyline, this episode easily belongs to Morris.

    One of my favourites!!

  • show: Doctor Who (2005)

    episode: Blink

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

This weeks episode of Doctor Who was absolutley fantastic!! Brilliant storyline and even creepier villains. I hated statues before i saw this and i now hate them even more, particularly thanks to the ending montage.

It follows Sally Sparrow as she enters a creepy house late at night. She peels off the wallpaper to reveal a message to her from "The Doctor". All it says is "Beware the weeping angels". This leads to all sorts of revelations, from her best friend and a potential date who both get sent back in time from the evil villains. All i can say is what a fantastic episode this was, and beware of statues!!

  • show: ER

    episode: I Don't

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

I started watching ER a few series ago, then started to watch reruns of the old classics. And i have to say its nothing like it used to be.

There have been a few episodes in the last few series, such as 21 Guns and Bloodline, that were absolutley fantastic but overall the series isnt as good. That all changed with this episode, I dont. It was a brilliant episode. Luka planned a secret wedding for Abby, so when she turned up she just expected being at a staff dinner. But she got the suprise of her life when Luka (with help from Hope) had arranged everything.

There were some sweet moments - such as Abby's "I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart" poem which was beautiful. There was also some great comedy moments - especially Hope and Morris singing. Then there was the cliffhanger - poor Ray.

i can't wait until next weeks!!!!

  • show: Everybody Loves Raymond

    episode: Blabbermouths

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

I saw this episode for the first time last night, and it has easily become one of my favourite episodes.

Debra and Amy share all kinds of secrets about their husbands, not knowing that they each tell their husband. When Ray and Robert find out, they are not pleased, so they turn the tables on their wives. Frank joins in the discussion, revealing some home truths about Marie.

This episode is one of the funniest Everybody Loves Raymond episodes. A secret is revealed by each character including:
*Ray crying out "choo choo" in his sleep
    *Debra's loud belches
*Amy's inability to control her bladder when she laughs
*(and funniest of all) - Marie's admittance to using jars of sauce rather than homemade.

    A brilliantly funny episode!

  • show: Jonathan Creek

    episode: The Three Gamblers

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

The first time i saw this episode i was quite young, and i used to love watching murder mystery programmes. This one however scared me a little and i have only just been able to watch it again :)

It follows detective Jonathan Creek and his attempts to solve mysterys, with the aid of his friend Maddie. In this episode, he is brought in to discover why a man who has been shot numerous times, and did not have a pulse, was able to climb up a flight of stairs and try to get out of the cellar.

The end result is very clever, and something that i did not see coming. However i still can't watch this series without being scared of the sight of the man at the top of the stairs :)
