I say, don't always listen to market surveys of host likability to choose the hosts. Star wasn't the most liked but I think she added valid discussion and helped keep the show interesting. I think when they fired her and Merideth is when the show started to deteriorate. I am a huge fan of the view and I always will be but I have some views too. Also, what does Elisabeth Hasselback bring to the discussion? She takes herself and her polical views way too seriously. She has never that I have ever seen added any interesting discussion to the group. It looks like when she adds anything that Barbara Walters forced her to say something. She needs to understand that other people have different views and that being of a different polical party doesn't make someone a bad person. The only time she talks it's arguing about her beleifs. And she always looks hungry... maybe she should eat more. I'm sure she is a very nice person when she isn't trying to force her beleifs on Joy Behar but I just don't think she adds any original disscussion to the group. Has anyone else noticed that she is really boring?
