I found this episode incredibly thought provoking, and heart felt. We begin with a couple that is on the outs due to the Husbands Cheating. In a rash decision, the wife decides to become a man, thinking that she may be more able to understand why he does these things. As a result, the Husband breaks it off. Through the episode, she finds it hard to cope with being Transgender, feeling new things, and having new experiences. All this was very interesting to me, but what really got me was the end. The two end up having dinner with some mutual friends, and during the course of the meal, both wind up in the Men’s room. They end up having a long and truthful conversation, and admit that they both miss each other. Then the Wife asks, “would we ever have had this conversation if things had stayed the way they were?” And the Husband admits “No!”
The episode ends with the Man walking into the same office as his Wife had, and asking to become a woman! He misses her that much!
I thought it was a great story, creative, well acted, and showed that we should see others for who they are, not what they are!
