    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Sam finds some things out about himself, and about his friends as well as the Devil himself. There's some character development, and I was glad to see it happen, as there's only so long that he can run around being a clueless nerd.

So Sam learns that the Devil doesn't always tell the truth; although why he'd think that would be the case is beyond me, but good for him for realizing it. The problem with the Devil is that sometimes what he's saying ~sounds~ like the truth. When he told Sam that his friends were unreliable, well, that just about sums up the two guys Sam works with, Sock especially. And then when Sock let Leon out... well, there's the Devil's point proven, right?

I admit, I let out a groan when that happened, because I didn't want the Devil to be right. And I was happy when Sock proved the Devil wrong by standing by Sam when the chips were down. These guys aren't what they appear to be on the surface, and that, I think, is a good thing for the longevity of the show. The whole Andi situation... well, are they friends or are they more? What happened to the fantastic guy with the twin sisters? There needs to be some plot clean-up there, but there's still time to deal with all that in the future.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

Most of the story lines in this week's episode of Corner Gas were funny, but I just didn't find the Oscar/Emma plot funny... at all. I would have thought that a couple that's been married as long as they have wouldn't have 'sharing' issues any more.

The dirty truck being used as a notepad was funny, and inevitable that the phone number, the one important thing written on it, would be washed off. Having the Scouts be the ones to ruin things for Wanda was unexpected, and so made it funnier than if Hank had just messed things up the way he always does.

Karen's unexpected sketching ability was also humorous, particularly since everyone knew it was Davis she was drawing, except Davis. Small quibble with Davis shutting down the art show... since Lacey wasn't selling the liquor, did she really need a liquor licence? Hmmm...

But overall, a fairly humorous episode, although not the best of the season so far.

    The Bottom Line: "Superb"

This was another funny episode of Reaper. The use of a horrid sweater as the vessle was hilarious. Sam's attempts to have a relationship with Andi continue, only this time, the Devil took a much more active role in throwing up road blocks to stop it. He claims this is all for Sam's good, but can we believe him? After all, he is the Devil!

Sam also finally gets the contract that he's been asking to see; unfortunately, he never gets a chance to read it. And we find out that maybe Sam's dad isn't as nice as we thought either, as there's something in that contract that he doesn't want Sam to see, and he's made sure that Sam will never see whatever that is.

And a question that I was wondering about was also answered: what happens to those humans who come onto the Devil's radar? Well, we found out that they generally don't come to a good end, which means that Sam's friends can look forward to a firey future. The question is this: is Andi on his radar? He says she's not ~yet~... but let's face it, he ~is~ aware of her.

    Ridiculous

This is a conversation that should not even be taking place.

Am I the only one who sees that? Am I?

    Read the thread.

There are just so many things on this site that need time and attention from the staff. Yet, instead, they are spending their time thinking about how to reinstate voluntarily retired editors.

    Why?

Is this really necessary? How many editors will it ~actually~ affect? And is there really an editor who is SO busy that they can't check in once a week? I mean, what... is someone going to move to a mud hut in the middle of the desert where there's no internet? Really?

Even if it's necessary, it certainly isn't more important than fixing the bugs that have infested this site for years.

And that alone makes the conversation ridiculous. It should not be taking place.

More editors need to tell the staff this rather than weighing in with a yes or a no, and their ideas of how to make such a low-priority idea work.
