Blue Album Review.....

Anybody who thought this was a song lyric, please go and swallow a knife right now. As some of you know, some of you may not know, I don't really care, I recently bought Weezer's The Blue Album. And well, here's the review:

Starting with the cover, these guys look like total dorks, especially the last one. I just hadda say that. Now for what I thought of the songs:

1. My Name Is Jonas - I liked this song. It's got a nice opening riff and its probably the hardest song on the album, which is good because I can't stand stuff that's too soft. 8/10

2. No One Else - This song had some decent lyrics, but for whatever reason, I just couldn't get that into it. It starts off like it's gonna be a hard rocker, but then they slow it down. I as slightly disappointed.6/10

3. The World Has Turned And Left Me Here - This just simply isn't my type of song. I listened to it once and then didn't listen to it again, I didn't like the vocals and I didn't like the guitar lines. 3/10

4. Buddy Holly - This is when the album starts to get pretty good. This one is very catchy and the lyrics are impressive. I listened to this one several times and the only drawback is that sounds just a bit too poppish. 7/10

5. Undone - The Sweater Song - Now, the chorus of this song is great as are the verses, but what bothered me was the opening part where the guy is just talking to his friend at the concert/party. That part was so freaking stupid and pointless. Other than that, good. 7/10

6. Surf Wax America - This one had the best guitar riff on the album and it is really catchy. Surf Rockish I guess is what you'd call it. 8/10

7. Say It Ain't So - Seems to be Weezer's most popular song. I already knew it from Rock Band and I thought it was OK. The lyrics could be better I guess, but overall a good song. 7/10

8. In The Garage - Definately my favorite. I loved the lyrics and I liked the references used. It doesn't get a 10 though, because nothing's perfect.   9/10

9. Holiday and 10. Only In Dreams - I can't remember these song too much, but if I liked them, I'd have remembered them. So for not being memorable, these song get a 5/10

Ah yes, the band itself. Well, the lyrics aren't bad I guess, not that good, but not bad. The singer while not great seems to be competent enough. The guitar(s) were pretty lackluster I thought other than My Name Is Jonas and Surf Wax America. The rythym section was good and I don't see many flaws there. This is a good album, worthy of buying and listening to. Even though alternative is not my thing. Overall, it gets a 7.5/10

Well have fun.

That little f*ggot with the earring and the makeup.....

Yea buddy, that's his own hair. That little f*ggot got his own jet plane. That little f*ggot he's a millionaire."

Not sure if you guys will know this one, its cl*ssic. Shadow or Jacob might. It is also very appropriate considering the rant that I'm about to go on.

There's something that's been bothering me for awhile. It is a band (if you wanna call it that). The Jonas Brothers. Girls ages 8-18 pretty much adore these little b*stards, and they've got virtually no talent. My sister for one, she is 9 and she can't enough of these "teen wonders." She watches they're stupid TV shows and she buys their CDs, shes even got a T-shirt. I even know of some boys that like them. It disgusts me because these guys call themselves "rockstars." What is even more disturbing is the fact that the generation will probably grow up believing that the Jonas Brothers are what rockstars are. OK, sure, maybe they can sing OK, but PLENTY of people can sing OK. I can lol. Kids adore these long haired, talentless, little kids. And that's all they are is little kids after all. It's basically a teenaged backstreet boys. Me and my brother made a unbreakable pact: If we ever see the Jonas Brothers in person anywhere, we WILL punch them in the face, all 3 of them., regardless of how many security guards billyclub us. Who knows what I'm talking about? Let me know will ya.

Well, have a list:

Top 10 songs of the 90s

1. Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana

2. Jeremy - Pearl Jam

3. Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden

4. Losing My Religion - R.E.M.

5. Creep - Radiohead

6. November Rain - GNR

7. One - U2

8. Enter Sandman - Metallica

9. 1979 - Smashing Pumpkins

10. What I Got - Sublime

Notice I didn't put any band in twice.

Have fun.

Pretty easily the best episode of season 4 and possibly the best episode up to this point ni the series, 2000. Cartman goes online looknig for loder friends because he is so mature, so a lot of pervs try to meet him at various places but the FBI intervenes, Then NAMBLA coems to town to help, but unbeknownst to the children, the older men just want to have sex with them. When they fidn this out, they are horrified. Meanwhile, Kenny's mom is pregnant and Kenny doesn't seem to like to the idea of a younger sibling, so he intervenes. fantastic ep.

Avg Score: 8.85    Total Ratings: 177    Total Reviews: 6
This is one of the most groundbreaking eps and probably the most so of season 4. Timmy is introduced for the first time and he happens to be oen hell of a rockin and rollin singer. The Lords of The Underworld are looking for somethign to improve their band and they find Timmy and the band takes off. But is Timmy getting too much of the fame? Meanwhile, all of the kids are pretending to have ADD so that they can get out of homework! I mean, Ritalin doesn't have nay side affects right? So why not take it? You'll see if you watch the ep.

Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000
Avg Score: 8.94    Total Ratings: 179    Total Reviews: 10
This episode teamed with the last episode makes for the best 1-2 punch in South Park history. Cartman throws a rock at Token (not out of racism) but everyone seems to think that it is. Cartman gets sent to Juvenile Hall because token is black and therefore Cartman has committed a hate-crime. Whle there, he meets the jail-hardened romper stomper, who agrees to help him bust out of prison so he can see disney land. Cartman gets out but Romper Stomper isn't so lucky. A great episode that is easily a classic and is nearly loved by every fan of SP.

South Park is currently at a point where it just keeps getting better. When wull this die out, I have no idea. Cartman and the boys realize that the tooth fairy is not real so they figure out a way to take kids' "tooth fairy" money after they've lost teeth. They find that an 8 year old crime lord is an charge of this thing and they agree to work for him. Eventually, there is a disagreement with Loogie and they kill Kenny out of revenge. A terrific episode and a especiallly good for a season opener. I remember back when I was 10 and this episode came out.
