Word on the Street!

Word on the Street is a large book festival that took place today at Queen's Park. It's the 17th annual year this year. Anyways, there was a Writer's Guild of Canada booth and I was all like "Oooh, Jana Sinyor! Dark Oracle! Every other Canadian TV show I love!" But yeah, I knew that Jana and Heather were in an issue, so I kept that in mind as I approached the booth. And lo and behold, there were a few issues with them on it! I talked to a woman working there for a few minutes and told her that I love Dark Oracle and stuff, and she said "Here, help yourself!" So I have the issue! Yay! And now, the reason I actually went to the festival. (Other than the fact that I love books!) A few Degrassi cast members were going to be there for a discussion panel about the graphic novels coming in October! Cassie Steele, Jake Goldsbie, Stefan Brogren, Linda Schuyler and a couple of artists were there. Also, Ryan Cooley stopped by for a while because he had a class at university and he had to leave early. Anways, I took like 10 pictures them on stage, and got a picture of me inbetween Jake and Cassie. They gave out free 2005-2006 students planners, plus those little sample mangas of which I now have three, and a little purple card displaying the cover of the second novel. Anyways, Cassie and Jake both signed both of the books! Today was the best day ever! And yes, I say that every time something good happens to me... Which is not very often. ;D

Degrassi Birthday Bash

I went to the Degrassi Birthday Bash at the Ex yesterday! I was in the front! I met the whole cast that went! Unfortunately, Jake Epstein, Cassie Steele, Aubrey Graham and Shane Kippel couldn't attend. So I talked to them and got autographs and took pictures. I hope the pictures come out good! It was Lauren Collins' 19th birthday yesterday! I told Stacey Farber that I'd seen her on Dark Oracle. She was like "Oh yeah I was on it for like a few seconds." She was on it longer though and on more than one episode. They are all so awesome, Ryan Cooley put his arm around me for a picture! It felt so good! But it was because he wasn't in a booth, he was standing outside lol. People from TV stations were there and taped it! I'm going to be on TV! OMG, yesterday was the best day of my life! Oh yeah, as I was leaving the Ex, I ran into two friends and one of them said that her sister saw Paula Brancati.

Well, what can I say about Adamo... he's a really good actor! I mean, how many people do you know that could play the role of Marco as good as him, or that would even want to, with him being gay and all? Adamo definetely deserves an award for his role on Degrassi: The Next Generation and should defenetely be in more stuff.

Ryan Cooley is one hell of an actor! I've loved him since the show I Was A Sixth Grade Alien, and continue to enjoy him in Degrassi: The Next Generation. I even met him the other night and he is a really great guy! And really cute too! So Ryan keep it up, and I hope to see you in more stuff in the future.

Erik Knudsen is such a good actor, he's one of the best! And he's so hot too! And if you thought he was hot on Mental Block...then you should see him in real life! Well I think that he is a very good role model for people who want to be actors/actresses. Yeah. I think he should be in another TV series, or have a lead role in a movie! Well actually, he is. But I want to see him in more stuff lol.

Jeanne Bowser is such an amazing actress...I'd like to see her do more acting! I know that she is very busy teaching Introduction to Acting at Concordia University in Montréal, but maybe in the near future she will have another lead role in another television series or film! I know that she has done theater work, and although I did not see it for myself, I just know it was amazing. Keep up the good work Jeanne! You rock!

I know that Stéfanie has a lot of experience acting, and is part of the CAEA...so why not give her another lead role in a show or a movie? Hmm? She certainly deserves it! She is a really great inspiration for people who want to become actors/actresses, such as myself!
