The Bottom Line: "Perfect"
I thought it was appropriate that Eric and Annie decided to see some of the United States after all these of not going anywhere. Funny how originally it was only going them, Ruthie and the twins and it mushroomed into friends and family coming along.
The only thing I didn't like was Lucy acting like a little kid because her parents were going away and she wasn't. She's in 24-25 years old, married, with a two year old daughter and another baby on the way and she still gets upset. Ruthie acted more mature then she did. I just don't get why she would care that her parents are going on on a trip and on a happy note too.
Other then that I thought the ending was good. It showed how Eric and Annie have contributed to the Glenoak community for the past 11 years and now they've decided to do something for themselves. Being carefree, spontanious without any worries. Ideal life for anyone, if they can have it.
I'm going to miss 7th Heaven but it is their time to go. I started watching it at the beginning of season 2 when all five kids were in school for the first time and was hooked ever since. One thing that has remained true for the show over the years is how they deal problems that people face and how Eric and Annie have shown their kids to reach out to those in need.
