Battlestar Galactica (2003) Water Avg Score: 8.89 Total Ratings: 703 Total Reviews: 13 Users who agree: 2 |
This episode is further proof of how well the writers have plotted out the plot of this show. And yes I know that sounded funny. Water is something that is never explained on other SciFi shows. For instance on Star Trek The Next Generation they never mention water purification or how water is made for use on the ship. Although I suppose its possible they replicate water. But in Battlestar they explain that water is not a completly replenishable resource. THe water supply on Galactica can be recycled many times but eventually it will run out. with the sabotoge of the water tanks it shows just how dependant man is on the simple parts of life despite technological advances. I really liked this episode because it deals with a topic very few SciFi shows deal with.

Justice League Unlimited Epilogue Avg Score: 9.15 Total Ratings: 412 Total Reviews: 71 |
I'll be honest, I'm a huge fan of Batman Beyond. So maybe that makes me biased to review this episode. I think conclusion is the best phrase to sum up this episode. This literally concludes the Batman Beyond universe. Though to be honest I want to see more.
A lot of people have complained that this episode doesn't focus on the Justice League that much and I can see how some people would be upset, especially if they didn't watch Batman Beyond. But at the same time JLU watchers should be familiar with the future Batman from past JLU episodes.
I don't want to spoil anyone, but I found the shocking secret not to be too shocking once we see the grown up version of Terry. He shares the same jawline as his father. Thats all I'm gonna say about that. To those people that are Batman Beyond fans you'll probably love the episode. If you aren't familiar with Batman Beyond it may be confusing. But there is still a small dose of Justice League action so maybe you'll be satisfied.

Stargate Atlantis The Intruder Avg Score: 8.72 Total Ratings: 474 Total Reviews: 12 Users who agree: 3 |
Yes this was like an alternate reality, but in a good way. Very little of this episode took place in the typical Atlantis envirnment and I for one loved it. Most of the story takes place on the Daedalus with flashbacks to meetings on Earth. To be honest I'm sold on the Daedalus its my favorite thing about the show. If Jack O'Neil is now the head of Homeworld Security I hope he's making a whole fleet of ships like the the Daedalus.
It was great to see Sheppard get a well earned promotion, and I for one am interested to see how much tension develops between Caldwell and Sheppard. And once again it was nice to see the Asgard afterall they are my favorite Stargate characters.
Overall a good episode, and the idea of a Wraith computer virus was something I found quite interesting. I'll be interested to see what countermeasures are developed.

Stargate SG-1 Avalon (2) Avg Score: 8.84 Total Ratings: 477 Total Reviews: 26 Users who agree: 1 |
This episode was used to help build up the SG 1 team. Personally I found it rather boring. When I find Stargate Atlantis more interesing than SG 1 I think theres a problem. I know they need to do something to build up the new team and make them interesting but I feel like this season is missing something. Maybe I'm just one of those people that won't be satisfied without Jack O'Neil.
On the plus side Daniel and Vala's trip to Avalon was very interesting. Michael Shanks and Claudia Black play off of each other very well. I really hope they keep her on as a regualar.
Overall the episode was a necessary boredom to me. Hopefully they move onto something else soon. And please stop with the 'To Be Continueds' its really killing me.

WWE Pay-Per-View The Great American Bash 2005 Avg Score: 6.85 Total Ratings: 20 Total Reviews: 4 Users who disagree: 1 |
I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of SD, and the Great American Bash did almost nothing for me. Lets start out match by match.
1. Crusierweight Title match. Paul London vs. Nunzio. 2 minutes is not enough time for a match. 'nuff said.
2. MNM vs. Heidenreich and Road Warrior Animal - I guess I should be happy the tag division has another team in it. But why take the titles off of MNM. This makes no sense to me.
3. Booker T vs. Christian - Yet another loss for Christian. The man is over as all hell yet he never gets a clean win. Its no wonder no one took him seriously in the WWE title match against Cena. Give Christian some freakin wins and actually use him in decent angles. yes I'm a Christian mark if you couldn't tell.
4. Orlando Jordan vs. Chris Benoit, US Title match - Why let OJ retain? He has done nothing with the US Title. my only hope is that Christian takes it from him soon, although I wouldn't mind Benoit so that it would lead to a Benoit vs. Christian match.
5. Taker vs. Hassan - Well they killed of the Hassan character to get him off of TV as per UPNs wishes. Hopefully they can repackage him into something else.
6. Mexicool vs. BWO - I agree with the ending on this. The Mexicools needed a win to establish themselves. Its a shame it had to come against the bWo. Maybe something more will come of it.
7. Rey Mysterio vs Eddie - Round 6 million or whatever. The WWE continues to build this angle, but I think people may be tiring of it. I like the Mysterio win to keep Eddie POed.
8. Melina vs. Torrie Wilson, Bra and Panties Match - Who am I to argue with simple T and A? Seriously though I like the Melina win. But why add Candice Michelle to the mix?
9. Batista vs. JBL, for the World Heavyweight TItle - far too long with a DQ finish. Batista crushed JBL but left it open for a rematch. Look for that to happen with the 'death' of Hassan. Supposedly the original plan was to have HAssan beat Taker and challenge Batista at SummerSlam, now it seems like Batista vs. JBL II. Oh joy...
A pretty weak PPV overall in my opinion. Hopefully Summerslam is better.
