A quick introduction
I just figured that I would use my first blog post as an opportunity to say a little bit about myself. I am a thirty something single parent to a six year old, truly the most remarkable boy in the world, by the way=) I was a restaurant manager for 11 years before I decided to go back to school, and discovered my true calling. After a long hard tour at college while working fulltime, and being pregnant and single, (and then a parent to an infant and single) I have earned my degree, and passed the boards and now I am a registered nurse! I also happened to land one of the most rewarding jobs in the world, as a pediatric nurse. I now have a job that I love, and a career for life.
