    ABOUT ME

    WirednWicked

    name: WirednWicked

    my story:
I'm very much into the whole Hollywood Scene thing, I like watching films where good acting and storylines are well put. The same thing goes for TV shows, I'm an anime addict, as well. The crazy thing is that I'm very much into comedy and I don't have mind for so-called "best films" they're annoying, pompous, and just so freakin' stupid. I'm a comedy person, I think I'm funny, I live currently in Los Angeles Area and I go to College in the Southern California Area. I have so many DVDs that I haven't even opened some of them. The idea of filmmaking is incredibly appealing to me, not the idea of celebrity but rather the idea of actually making films; the work, the directing, acting, filming, editing it so that it seamlessly appear to be coming out naturally. It is estrange to see something that was filmed completely out of sync can become so beautifully well edited. I like real acting, I despise reality television. Some of the best people that I'd love to, if ever given the opportunity, work with are Norman Lear, Aaron Sorkin, Bill Lawrence, and David E. Kelley, Tim Kring. They are some of the few people who bring television to a higher level due to their shows and the question for a better social well-being. Something that has become ignored greatly by so-called "journalists" is being put into tv shows so that people can begin to pay attention. I hope there are others out there who also watch smart television without lacking vision as to how these shows may not be mainstream enough, but rather smart enough to be incredibly good to watch and enjoy.

    • in TREATMENT - on a new format of a show

The incredible thing about this show is its ability to push people to the brink of almost destruction simply through words. The moment that anyone comes through the door it creates a certain je ne se quoi that brings every character to the edge of the abyss but lets them choose whether or not they would take the jump. That very moment is what makes the show not only incredibly interesting but absolutely admirable. From one second to the next the dynamics change and the actors let us observe them as their characters as humans. Their faults become a vision to their humanity as they deal with their own lives; a window the a certain solitude that does and doesn't exist. Gabriel Byrne's character is not just convincing, he's great. There is not a moment's rest for Paul... Read more »

    • Something's Coming - New Seasons, New Shows, New Imports

With the current ongoing WGA strike I have found myself, no, not watching Reality Television but instead Jeopardy!, The Weakest Link, SciFi Channel shows, which I like anyway, and any possible world news that I can. I watch 2 in Spanish, 1 in US English, and 1 in UK English. I've found myself incredibly entertained by the wit that Anne displays as the host of The Weakest Link. I found the Extra Special Extras Series Finale, just absolutely funny. In addition to that the incredibly large amount of trivia that I've yet to know is quite refereshing tofind out about. Not only that but now that the TV is equipped with HD Satellite, I can watch movies on its original Widescreen viewing as opposed to the limited FULLSCREEN versions. While I understand that many people have yet to know... Read more »

    • Dear Deadly Dexter

Yes, I am aware that that is not the title of either the books or the show. However, he is deadly, and incredibly so. The aboslute passion for a show that portrays a new sense of voyeurism, gore, and great writing are used in a cold-cut manner that make up a great television program. Dexter enters the same class that NIP/TUCK established almost five years ago. The extraordinary sense that television has become a neo-realistic medium that portrays a sense of justice that cannot be accomplished through the broadcasting channel programs anymore. The absolute sense of desire for something that the establishment has lost power of; like Dirty Harry did in the 80s. A fun show, dark in comedy, magnificent in imagery, and never, ever, boring. It's a fun way to check what new, smart, witty... Read more »
