After stopping Dr. Sahmbi in the future Darien has followed him and the others he sent back to 1993. With him he's taken a seemingly innocent car alarm remote that is the key to stunning or sending the criminals back and the future's tiniest A.I. call Selma.

Upon arriving in the basement of the Smithsonian Darien comes face to face with a woman he thought he lost just days earlier. And, wouldn't you know it during his first meal in 1993 he finds out one of the criminals he's come to track down has stolen the gun that Booth used to shoot Abraham Lincoln and is now on the way to go kill the President of the United States.

This whole pilot episode was a well crafted masterpiece of Sci-Fi. There's enough humor, feeling, and surprisingly enough the effects hold up nicely 14 years later. Granted the banter is dated and most of the copies you'll probably find look like pure crap you won't regret giving this series a chance.

Capt. Darien Lambert is a cop from the year 2193. Lately he's been losing the perp a little to often and he's starting to question his skills as a police officer. Until he happens upon one of the greatest secrets of the 23rd century...time travel.

A lone doctor (Dr. Sahmbi) has taken it upon himself to continue the TRAX project that was abandoned years before. To finance these experiments he needed money. He received it from various criminals as payment to send them back in time from the mid eighties to the early nineties.

Now, that Sahmbi has also escaped back in time it's up to Lambert to find him and the hundred plus criminals he's displaced in the past. Can he do it? Can he send them all back? No, because this show got canceled but it's still a great show that you should watch.

Just when you thought our dearly deadly Dexter had finally found his bright moment in the sun it's all torn away from. Now he's followed constantly buy Sgt. Doakes and forced deeper into his sham of his public personal life.

However, Dexter's not the only one who seems to be having issues this season. Batista has become a walking Oprah cliche spouting machine. Debra has become an exercise freak who's loathing the lime light her ex-fiance has left her. Not even Dexter's perky girlfriend Rita is immune to the cloud hanging over this season as Paul continues to hound her for just one shoe.

If the season opener is a hint for what this season will be like all I have to say is be prepared for an unsteady hand and a world of trouble...the garbage bags are coming home to roost.

Things aren't looking so hot for the Doctor and Martha this week as the story opens with lasers erupting through the door of the T.A.R.D.I.S. and that's not even the half of it. Whoever's got an itchy laser finger can track the Doctor across time and space.

So a plan is formed in the space of a few seconds to us and the next thing we see is the Doctor dressed in his "jimjams" (English...English really is the best isn't it?) and apparently he's 100% human. All in all this episode is packed full of story, and character development on all sides. Immediately we as the viewers are sucked completely into Martha's problem, the life of a student who's almost to smart for the Doctor's own good, the courting ritual of a Time Lord (I'm taking up cricket if it gets me women half as hot as this), and pissed off aliens with over developed senses of smell. Care to find out what the hell I just said...me to because it's a two partier and until Saturday (June 2nd) I'm in the dark.

If you haven't seen this episode, find a way to see it...soon!!!

Sure we've seen plenty of these with the Doctor and Rose...hell we've seen plenty of these with the Doctor and his many many many companions. Just because we've seen it doesn't make it any less brilliant when they pull it off right, and make no mistake 42 pulled it off just right.

In many ways this episode is a landmark in the relationship between the Doctor and Martha. With one flick of his sonic screwdriver the Doctor gives Martha her very own "call from any time period or quadrant of the galaxy" plan for her cell. Just in time to as the pair happen to come across a distress signal.

Upon appearing out of no where we find the pair find they're on a ship getting ready to fly straight into the sun. With manic energy and an edge of raw insanity Tenant treats the audience to his ever brilliant interpretation of the Doctor. With touching character moments, a great guest supporting cast, and lots of fast paced fun 42 is a high point for season twenty-nine.

Now, if only we knew who the hell Mr. Saxon was I could spoil what's building to be a phenomenal season.
