I voted for David when the first Design Star was on HGTV and on that show his designs were certainly spectacular but on Color Splash it looks like a sad attempt to urbanize "Get Color". The whole idea of a color assistant is completely pointless and Danielle's role on this show (to me) is not needed. I find her very annoying and in no way at all adding anything to the overall concept of the show. I also find that I can take very little of the homeowners, they are like groupies on this show, with every episode starting out with them praising David and telling America how lucky they are to have him, they need to grow up and start acting like clients instead of teenage girls. The show needs a complete reworking to come close to what David's show should've been, his designs on Design Star were spectacular and on this show now, not so much.

Full House Avg Score: 8.60 Total Ratings: 3466 Total Reviews: 481 Users who agree: 1 Users who disagree: 2 |
Full House was an okay show, if it wasn't it wouldn't have ran as long as it did. But, it had a couple major flaws, first of all, alot of the jokes were really not good, but that's not a very big flaw, the next two are the big ones.
First of all, this show was so repetitive, how many times can you hear "How Rude", "You got it dude", "Cut it out", or "Have mercy" before you reach for the mute button on the remote and turn on the sterio? If the repitiveness had been taken out, I probably would've given this show atleast a 7.5. But, the next flaw is the biggest:
Michelle! The only reason I have stopped watching this show on Nick @ Nite is Michelle, she was a spoiled rotten little brat. It seems like every teaser was about her not to mention the really pathetic series finale. Also, throughout the whole series since she learned how to talk she bossed everyone around, talked back, and got her way. Yet Jesse repeatedly makes it known that Michelle is his Best Pal or something similiar.
Those are the major flaws and if it wasn't for DJ, who was the only character on the show without an annoying "catch phrase" or a strange obsession (IE: Danny having to clean everything), I probably wouldn't have watched the show at all.

It Takes a Thief (2005) Avg Score: 8.83 Total Ratings: 222 Total Reviews: 19 |
It Takes A Thief has rarely ceased to amaze me, whether watching Matt's dedication to the homeowner's security or watching Jon actually test it, I never lose interest. The show starts out with Jon and Matt "Casing the hood", which is really just for show as the homes they choose are usually submitted through the Discovery website by the homeowner. Once they arrive at the house, Matt asks the homeowner(s) if they'd like to participate in the process while Jon goes off elsewhere. If they agree, Matt takes them through the house and points out the security weaknesses. He also checks out what would actually be stolen from the house should someone break into it. Then, cameras are set up in the house and the homeowner(s) lock up as best they can. Matt calls Jon and he quickly arrives as the homeowner(s). Usually getting into the house extremely quick, he wastes no time in searching for anything valuable. Within 15 minutes he's usually finished and already gone. Matt then takes them to look around the house at the damage firsthand. After that, they then meet Jon and see all the stuff he took. A cleaning crew then gets the house back the way it waswhile a security guard patrols the property. The next day Matt returns to give the house a security renovation, replacing old locks with new high-security ones, upgrading/adding a security system, and doing whatever else he feels is necessary. A few weeks later, Matt & Jon return unannounced to check to see if the homeowners are using their new security. If they aren't, they get a quick lecture from Matt & Jon and the problem is quickly corrected.
That is the It Takes A Thief process, a way of seeing what could actually happen and the proper ways of preventing it in an educational and entertaining way.
