So I finally go my own theme song...

About a month ago or so I got a letter informing me that I fianlly got approved and am qualified to get my own theme song. Just yesterday I went down to the TSB (Theme SOng Bureau) to get it registered. I actaully though about it for quite a long time. I couldn't decided between Barbie Girl by Aqua, or The Hamster Song In the end I finally decided to go with:

Pride by High & Mighty Colour

So what do you gys think about my official theme song? I actually really like this song, even tho I can't understand the lyrics.

PS: sry about not commenting on anyone's blogs in a long time. I kinda disappeared from the blogging scene for a while there.

Even tho, this is a pretty radom blog, feel free to leave a comment if you like.

EDIT: I forgot--> bonus points to whoever guesses where that song is from. oh and tell me what your theme song is.

Who's that hansome devil in the mirror?

Don't be fool by the title, I'm feeling kinda down now, if I was in a good mood, I would have said "incredibly sexy guy".

Anyways, I want 3 comments or I'm leaving, I don't care what kinda of comments they are: spam, or whatnot. If this blog doesn't have 3 comments, it's goodbye. I'm super serious right now. look at my face, do I look like I'm joking.

^^ Link to original and the 2nd one

^^ That's not me btw, yea, I wish. I wish I a chick, I wouldn't have to pay for dinner and stuff, and I'd have a good excuse to be b*tchy.

I found these pix on DA, and I though I post them cause I think they look cool. If you can guess the two characters that are being cosplayed, and I'll dance for you or something.

The precious moments are all lost in the tide...

Happy Singles Awareness Day

*Credit goes to DrAvatar for his idea for the title

Well, it's that time again, of awful tasting chalky candy, and regiving those boxes of chocolate that's been sitting in your kitchen cabinets for a year. Yes, it's that holiday that makes you feel all warmy and fuzzy inside, or makes you want to wallow in a pool of self-pity, (depending on your perspective) A day of trying to get something special for your loved one, a day of mad rushing the nearest wal-mart to try and nab that last $25 fuzzy bear, when you know it would cost only $10 on any other day. A day of sharing your love and exchanging those overpriced cards that no one evers reads anyway. A day to reflect your future together, or a day of painful past memories of what you once had.

So whenever your going to a nice restaurant with your other half, or downing a whole gallon of Ben and Jerry's ice cream:

Happy Valentine's Day or

Happy Singles Awareness Day

I hope you all find that special someone on your own terms, and nobody else's.

And that is they say is that.

A Shadow had Fallen on our Forum

I got a small taste of the ban hammer: Been suspened for the past two days for creating a joke thread.

Did I deserve it? Ya

Do i think the mods were unfair in this decision? no, I probably would have done the same thing

Do I know why they suspened me instead of the usual warning? of course

Do I have to be happy about it? of course not.

But anyway, that's not the point of this blog.

A Editorship Stolen:

With the recent depressing news of Pooldude's forced retirement, the whole forum seemed down. It was a dark hour, how can anyone possibly attempt to fill in PD's shoes? As I was scanning candidates' list, with many already packed up and long gone, I felt there was no one. But then a small seizure-inducing glimmer flashed across my computer screen. A glimmer of hope that would user in a new era of the forum. Finally, one worthy enough to succeed the former. The fates have spoken, the threads have been twined

But, destiny and fate is a funny thing, all it takes is a pair of scissors to cut the thread.Assembling almost 300, (conveniently enough just enough to be the top dog) a shadow crept up thru the lands, (conveniently enough just when the former retired) What a spectacular series of of convenient coincedents. It must have been lucky, yea, it must have all been lucky, let's not talk about it, and just accept it. Hey everybody, let's all go congratualte the victor! May if we stick to his good side, we'll get perks! yea, let's go!

When I first watched it, at the beginning , Li and Lo say something like "All thing and your true self are revealed here on Ember island," and I though to myself 'Awesome! This is going to be a character development episode about Zuko and co, and from looks of the preview, it seems that some action will be sprinkled in there in the form of combustion man.' Needless to say I had high hopes for this episode in the first 5 min. But those hopes soon turned to disappointments. My biggest negatives about this episode are its poor script, and lack of direction. The dialogue just didn't seem to flow naturally like the other episodes. I t felt awkward, because everyone was either too dramatic in their roles (Azula) , while others were hardly giving any kind of performance (Ty Lee, Mai) Also, everyone seemed to act way out of character. I realize that this episode was supposed to show us another side of the characters, but they all felt way too different, and too distant. The other episodes in the 3rd season seemed to do this a lot better, a good example is "Sokka's Master" It showed us another side of Sokka, and really developed his character. That episode went out of its comfort zone to try show that point across to the audience, while at the same time still staying true to its roots. "Sokka's Master" seemed believable, because the audience already knew Sokka's character thorugh development in other episodes (ex, Library, Drill, Lake Laogai, Avatar Day, etc) And that gives an anchor point for "Sokka's Master", so it was able to still show another side of Sokka, that seemed real and believable. "The beach" didn't accomplish this, there was no other episode tie-ins for it, and therefore made for some awkward and somewhat unrelatable viewing. But I do have some positive points to say. The first being the action with combustion man, really good fight scene. And at the surface it may have seemed like it was just all action, but at the very last scene when Aang jumps on Appa and fly out, we see a close moment between Aang and Katara. I really liked this part, not because I want them to be together, but rather it showed that Aang was truly scared for the first time. The combustion man looks like a real dangerous threat, and it showed that Aang is still afraid, if not just for his life, but the lives of his friends. He realized this early on, and went to face him alone. I though this was really sweet, that he protected them, but in the end, he still need Katara to be there for him. The 2nd part I liked about this episode was the scene where Zuko reminisces about his past in his old house. I always loved every part of Zuko's character development, and this was no exception. These scenes showed us that something is still buried deep in Zuko's past, and I think this is just a precursor scene to the true nature of his past, that will be followed up in later episodes. All in all, this episode was a disappointment, but not a total letdown as it showed some very heart-felting scenes, and crucial background information.

MythBusters
Steam Cannon
Avg Score: 8.27    Total Ratings: 34    Total Reviews: 4
Definetly a classic episode, Adam and Jamie try their hand at another of Archimdes' inventions. This time it's the steam cannon. The main concept behhind itis if one heats up a metal compartment attached to a long pipe or cannon, and then dumps water into it, the water will rapidly be transformed into steam, and therefore the expanding steam should propel a projectile out of the cannon. The mythbusters make a valiant effort, but to no avail, then could not get the cannon to work based on the specifications of the myth. So instead they converted it, so that the water is heated directly, and trapped in the compartment. When enough pressure builds up, they release the valve, and off went the cannon ball. This worked wondefully, even with only about one third of the pressure that they wanted, the ball fly hundreds of metres. The next myth they tackled was the nutritous cardboard myth. They quickly realized that the sugary cereal we all eat in the morning (corn pops for me) still has more nutritious value than the cardboard box. Big surprise, eh? Then a quick and simple chemical anylysis confirmed thier findings. Ah, the wonders of Chemistry. All in all, this was a very good episode, and recomned it to any fan or mechanical or the such enthusiast.

About Me

_Nalesnik_
Well, I guess I should write something in here. I've been known to be called devilishly handsome on many occasions. I'm an extremely smart and clever guy. My intellect is only surpasses by my good-lookingness. People ususally refer to me as "the total package" especially by girls. In fact, it's sometimes quite a bother to get from place to place due to the fact that girls keep on swooning over me everywhere I go. And that's about it. Oh, and people usually say that I'm "too modest for my own good" followed by rolling thier eyes, which I assume is some kind of sign for "Your so hot and dreamy"

This is my first attempt at making an AMV; my first time using Movie Maker as well. It is probably not the best there is.
