TV Update

I finished watching the first season of Veronica Mars last night and now I can't wait for the next season. Unfortunately I have to wait until 10th sept. I so hope it was Logan at the door. I really started to like him.

I also finished season 4 of One Tree Hill. It was a great ending. Nothing left up in the air, which is great. I couldn't believe it when Lucas fired the gun. I was so glad he didn't actually hit Dan.

I've also started watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch again. I missed that show, I used to really love it when I was younger. And also The Fresh Prince Of Belair, I just love Will Smith.

Anyways I should get going, because I'm at work. I'll do a proper blog soon. I hope your all well. **GINORMUS HUGS**

Update on ME

Hey Guys!!

I guess you've all been wondring where I've been. Well I've actually been right here, but I've been dealing with alot.

I had my 18th birthday, which was really great. I will post pictures from my skydiving at the bottom of my post. I absolutely love my car. I will take pictures to post really soon.

Not long after, doctors found a lump in my Nanna's neck. She had to have surgery to have it removed, but all is now well. She recovered perfectly, thank goodness. It broke my heart because my Nanna and I are really close.

About 2 months ago my uncle was diagnosed with Emphasema(? I'm sorry my spelling is really bad.) He is suprizingly taking it well. He's still going through the testings and stuff so he can get the right pescriptions. It's really sad when things like this happen to really good people.

And about 3 weeks ago my great Nanna past away. She had a little accident on her scooter and broke her hip and when the docs gave her the anesthesia(again I'm sorry my spelling is shocking) her blood turned sour and her organs shut down. My Mum took it really hard because they were so close and great Nanna lives in another state. Mum didn't even get to say good-bye. As bad as it may sound, I kinda think it's good she died they way she did. She wasn't in pain because of the anesthesia and she always said she didn't want to go to a nursing home or be a burden on any of her kids. Also she hadn't really been happy since her husband died 6 years ago. I know I should probably be sadder about it, but she lived a really long life and I know she's happy where ever she is.

Well people always say bad things come in 3s. So hopefully only good thingd happen from now on.

Whereas with work. I was promoted to manager, which I was really excited about. But the store owner sold the shop and the new owner decided he wanted to be manager. I was really p.i.s.s.e.d about at first, especially since he didn't pay for the store himself, his uncle bought it for him. But he's only 20. AND he has only had 2 weeks of retail exprience. I literally have to train my manager. How bad is that. But I've been working with him for almost 5 weeks now and he's a pretty good bloke. He doesn't deserve the manager spot though.

In TV news though. I've started watch a couple of new TV shows.

1. VERONIC MARS: I hated the very thought of this show to start off with. Mostly because I can't stand Kristen Bell. But my brother absolutely loves her and wanted to watch it, so I grabbed it from work and I've only watched the first 6 episodes but I'm totally adicted. And I love Weevil. He's so cool.

2. TERMINATOR THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES: I haven't finished all of the season, but it's not bad. The first episode was pretty good and none of the episodes so far have lived up to that, but it's aiight.

3. REAPER: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this show. It's so funny and interesting. Sok cracks me up all the time. And I think Sam and Andy make such a cute couple. I can't wait to get this on DVD so I can watch it all from the begining all over again.

4. This one isn't totally new but it's a new season. ONE TREE HILL: Season 4 was only just released in Australia on Wed. I'm already up to disc 4 and I love this season. I'm so happy Lucas and Peyton are finally together properly. I bawled when Dante hit Hayley. I totally thought she was gonna loose the baby. I was so happy she didn't.

5. SUPERNATURAL: Finally, Supernatural is coming back tonight. I think Aust only has 4 episodes left before the season finishes. I'm gonna miss it so much!!

And finally in movies I've only seen two new releases:

1. SEX AND THE CITY: This movie was absolutely brilliant. It was funny it was sad and it was so sex and the city. I won't ruin it for people that haven't seen it, but anyone who loves Sex And The City, you absolutely have to watch this.

2. INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Awesome. Absolutely awesome. I wasn't a huge fan of the other movies, but this was excellent. It captured the old Indiana atmosphere with newer effects and great new characters. All the acting was brilliant.

Anyways I'll stop blabbing. Sorry this was so long. I'll just finish with the pics of my skydiving.

Talk soon.

Jensen, Jensen, Jensen

I'm having a total Jensen attack here!! And totally loving it!!

I'm currently up to season 4 of Smallville, which most of you know Jensen is in. I watched about 3 episodes of that today before I decided to watch some of the programs that I had recorded from tv. I started with Good News Week, which had just returned from an extremely long break. It was a good start I thought. They had a special guest star on for the returning episode.... Jensen Ackles. I was shocked!! (In a fantastic way, of course). And just to top it off, Supernatural restarted here in Australia on Monday aslo (which I had forgotten about, but thankfully my brother remembered to record it.) So I got a quintuple hit of Jensen, which was awesome, but now I just want more!!!

Here is some eye candy for everyone:

Avg Score: 8.45    Total Ratings: 704    Total Reviews: 52
This episode starts with Giles giving Buffy a lecture about wanting to join a "cult", being the cheerleading squad. Scene changes to a cauldron of green ooze. Then to the gym where heaps of girls are warming up for tryouts. Willow recognizes and old friend, Amy. Some great gymnast, Amber, tries out with Buffy, Willow and AMy watching, when she spontaneously combusts. Buffy quickly runs and puts out the fire. Giles and the scoobies try to figure out why and how Amber caught on fire. The following day the tryouts continue. In group routine Amy knock Cordelia over. Later in the hall, Buffy finds out that Amy's mother was a cheerleading champion when she was back in high school. Amy starts freaking that she's not as talented as her mother. Scene cuts to Amy in the locker room being confronted by Cordelia. She intimidates Amy about her screw-up in the tryouts. The cheerleading list gets posted. Cordelia makes the squad. Buffy gets first alternate. Amy gets third. Scene cuts again to the cauldron where someone is putting a spell on Cordelia. The next day, Cordelia walks around all zombie like. She goes for a driving lesson, still in her zombie state. She totally loses control of the cars. When she gets out she is almost hit by a truck, but Buffy saves her just in time. Cordelia's eyes go completely white and she can't see anything. Giles figures out that it's witchcraft. Buffy figures out that it's Amy because she desperately wants to be a cheerleader, so she's eliminating the competition. Giles finds a spell to make sure the witch is Amy. When they make the potion and spill it on Amy, it turns blue, proving she's the witch. But just after Buffy spills the potion on Amy, another student in their class starts making a fuss and when you can see her face, you see she has no mouth. You see Amy at home talking with her mother and she reveals that she has Buffy's bracelet. The nest day, Buffy starts her day in a particularly goofy mood. At cheer practice she is really un-co and goofy and she accidentally throws a girl across the room. Xander and Willow carry Buffy out. All of a sudden Buffy starts feeling really ill. Buffy and Giles go to Amy's house to try and get her spell book. Her mother answers the door and Giles starts grilling her about Amy. Buffy realizes that Amy is actually in her mothers body. Her mother had cast a spell so she could relive her glory days. Giles goes up to the attic to find all the evidence of all the spells cast. He collects all the dolls and the spell book. He, Buffy and Amy head back to the school, to the science lab where Giles starts to perform a reversal spell. Both Amy and her mother start to feel the reversal. Amy's mother takes off from cheerleading to find Giles and Amy. Willow and Xander try to stop her but she attacks them. Amy's mother breaks down the door to the science lab that Giles, Buffy and Amy are in just as Giles completes the spell. When Amy's mother tries to attack Amy, Buffy steps in to fight instead. Amy's mother tries to cast a spell on Buffy but Buffy knock down a mirror and the spell reflects back onto herself. Amy gets to live with her dad. Cordelia is back on the squad, attitude completely back to normal. Amy and Buffy stop by the trophy case where Amy's mum's display is and it looks totally normal, but just as they are walking away the eyes of the trophy move around frantically, so you know Amy's mum is safely locked up, for now. This episode was a nice change from vampires, I mean I know it's call Buffy the VAMPIRE Slayer, But the series never would have lasted as long if it were just constant vampires. It was a good start of the involvement of witchcraft, which comes onto the show more frequently later on. Best episode of the series so far.

This episode starts off where the last ended. Luke is about to bite Buffy when his hand is burnt by her cross. While he is still surprised by this, she kicks him off her and runs off. Outside she sees a vampire attacking Willow. Buffy fights off this vamp and also two more, who were attacking Xander. Xander tells Buffy that Darla dragged Jesse away. Next you see Giles, Buffy, Xander and Willow in library discussing vampires, explaining about them to Xander and Willow. The scene cuts to Jesse being taken to the master. Luke and Darla inform the Master that the slayer is out there. The vamps decide to use Jesse as bait to lure the slayer to them. Willow uses her computer skills to get a map of the town sewers so they can figure out where the vampires hide-out is and an entry to it. As Buffy is talking about Luke attacking her, it clicks that the entrance must be in the crypt. Buffy plans to go get Jesse and Xander and Willow make it quite clear they want to help. Xander tries to go with Buffy, but she refuses to let him. Buffy arrives at the crypt to look around only to find that gorgeous guy, Angel, once again. Angel tries to warn Buffy not to go down to the vamps, but after a quick discussion, he understands why she has to and he gives her directions to find the vamps. Xander, who followed Buffy down to the sewers shows himself and Buffy gives him a cross to protect himself somewhat. She also explains all the ways to kill a vampire. Back with Willow, she overhears Cordelia dogging out Buffy and she tries to defend Buffy, but Cordelia just puts her down. So as payback Willow tricks her into deleting her work (which was pretty funny) Buffy and Xander find Jesse and are chased by more vampires. Jesse leads them to a room, a dead end. He shows himself as a vampire. Buffy pushes Jesse out of the room and shuts the door. As her and Xander are trying to climb into the vent the vamps crush down the door. Buffy and Xander climb out through a pothole and into sunlit safety. The Master makes Luke his vessel for the harvest. Xander and Buffy return to the library and inform Willow and Giles of what happened. They inform her of the Master and the Harvest. They figure the Harvest will be at the BRONZE, what with all the young people that will be there. Buffy has to stop home for supplies and she gets grounded, but sneaks out anyways. At the BRONZE Jesse hones in on Cordelia. Darla, Luke and the others come in. Luke gets up on stage and makes a speech, sucks the bouncers blood and asks for more. When Buffy and the gang get to the BRONZE, the doors are already locked. Buffy come in through the roof, while the others go to the back door. Just as Luke was about to kill Cordelia a vampire falls down from the rafters. Buffy jumps down to fight Luke. The others get in the back abd start helping the people out. Buffy tricks Luke with Light saying it's sunrise which catches him off guard and she kills him with her stake. Angel shows up just in time to see that Buffy succeeded. Most people don't remember much and Buffy is known as a freak. Willow and Xander remember everything and still stand by her. This episode was great for character development of Xander and Willow. All in all it was and okay episode, but not the best. (Mmmm .. Sexy Bob! Grrr! Arrgh!)

It starts with two kids breaking into Sunnydale High. The girl is scared that they're going to get caught, so the guy checks the place out to make sure no one is around. When he clears the area, the girls shows her true form, a vampire, and kills him. Which was a pretty good opener, just a little disappointing in the visual aspect, but it was the '90s. Next you meet Buffy, a 16 year old girl who has just transfered to Sunnydale High after being kicked out of her previous school, of which she burnt down the gym of (it was full of vampires). Buffy gets accepted by Cordelia, the self-declared coolest girl in school. But when Buffy sees her not so nice side she decides to hang out with the "geeky" kids, Willow, Xander and Jesse. When Buffy goes to get some text books from the library Mr. Giles, the librarian, knows who she is. He tries to give her a book titled "VAMPYR" and Buffy freaks out. She thought she would have a clean slate here. All she wanted was to be a 16 year old girl, not a slayer. In the gym girls locker room, two girls are beyatching about all sorts of things, when one of them opens her locker to reveal the boy that was killed by the vampire in the first scene. After investigating the dead boy, Buffy goes to confront Giles and ends up having an argument with him about Buffy being the slayer and just wanting a normal life, all of which Xander overhears. Next you see the vampires in their underground lair, awaiting "the sleeper to awake". On her way to the BRONZE, the only teen hot spot in Sunnydale, Buffy is followed by an extremely gorgeous guy. When Buffy confronts him he informs her she is "standing in the mouth of Hell and it's about to open". He gives her a silver cross necklace and takes off. Buffy meets Willow at BRONZE and whilst talking to her, she spots Mr. Giles upstairs. She goes up to find out what he wants. They have a discussion about her being able to spot vampires and she spots one. One who just happens to be talking to Willow. Buffy follows where they goes, breaking off the leg of a chair as she goes to use as a stake and almost ends up attacking Cordelia by accident. Back inside BRONZE Jesse is talking to the vampire from the first scene, Darla. The vampire Master awakens. Willow and the vampire Buffy spotted are walking to get ice-cream and he leads her into the cemetery. Buffy, still looking for Willow, bumps into Xander outside BRONZE. He tells her he knows she's a slayer, but you can tell he thinks she's crazy. Thomas, the mystery vampire with Willow, pushes Willow into a moselium. She tries to escape but Darla is at the entrance with Jesse, who has been bitten. Buffy somehow finds them with Xander. Buffy kills Thomas and fights with Darla. Luke, the Master's right-hand man, shows up and fights with Buffy as Darla runs off. As Willow, Xander and Jesse are escaping they get surrounded by vampires. Luke starts to beat Buffy and just as he is about to bite her the episode ends. So quite a lot happened in this episode and it was good, but we spent a lot of time introducing the characters, which really was necessary, but brings the episode down a bit, focusing so much on them. (Inside Joke: MMM...Sexy Bob. Grrr!! Aarrg!! :D)

Alexis was absolutely amazing in Gilmore Girls! Not many people could have pulled off that role and it was her first gig! She got better and better as the show went on. She did a fabulous job on Tuck Everlasting. Her acting along with her classic look in that movie, my goodness. And even in role as a prostitute in Sin City she was very classy. Although she may come across a bit diva at times, she is always polite and well spoken. She volunteers for many charities which is great. She doesn't just give money she actually gives up her time to get in there and help. If she really wanted to, with her amazing looks and incredible natural talent, I truly believe that Alexis could be a big star.

Ali is strong, independent, intelligent, talented and gorgeous. She is a great role model for people. She is best know for her work in as Nikki in Heroes and as Clear in Final Destination, both of which she did and excellent job. I love that even though she's not afraid to take off her clothes, she doesn't just play the "sex kitten" aspect, as many actresses do. She plays strong women. Women who can take care of themselves and their family. It's great to see women kick butt, and she does it well. But I think the best thing about her is, even with her rising fame, she manages to stay grounded. She doesn't think she's better than everyone and above everything. It's really refreshing to see. I hope she keeps up her game, continues working hard. If she does, the sky's the limit.
