Supernatural (what else???) Warning :spoilers if you haven't seen last two epis.

Ok. So I've got one question.....

HUH?????

So the new main plot line is "Dean tries to get some as much as possible before dying while Sam gets hounded by hot (evil) chick".

I say again.....

HUH?????

Please tell me the new season will go just a little deeper.

Ok. So there was the whole thing about Dean questioning what he's leaving behind when he dies. Was this just a quick blip? A minor crevise on the surface of the whole getting some thing? Please tell me no, and that we're talking real stories coming. I don't like to complain. Supernatural has never disappointed me. I'm just a little worried that the show will go the way of the usual third season who's doin who and who's crying about it genre. Maybe i'm just panicking a little. What does everyone else think??? Please comment and ease my anxiety.

Supernatural Season Premier

OK. It was exactly 29 hours until the season 3 premeir of Supernatural when I started trying to blog. Now that I'm able to type (because the computer I'm on is from 1943) it is 18 minutes closer.

The wait is killing in me!

I don't really care one way or another about the new people, as long as they don't take any screen time from Dean. I hope the balance between humor and seriousness isn't compromised, as well as the excellent rhythm between Jared and Jensen (and most of the other guest actors on the show).

I read the first Supernatural novel. (of course, I can't remember the title or author right off the top of my head). It was really good. I read it in two nights. Now if there were one of those foreach of the weeks I've had to go without a new episode, maybe I'd be a little less obsessed now, waiting for a new episode. (Naw, probably not).

Well, I'm getting back to work now. By the time I manage to post this, it will probably be 28 hours until the season 3 premeir of Supernatural!

I Can't Wait!

Stupid!

OK. Now I feel really stupid because I was reading the posts on the Heroes site, and it was Peter in the cargo box. See, you look away from the tv for one second and you're just completly in the dark. Lights are on now! (kinda!)

New Shows - Rambles

So I watched some new shows last night and caught the season premier of Heroes. I'll start with that.

Heros - So what's up with Nathan. I'm thinking he knows Peter isn't dead and is protecting him from his Mom and her buddies. It sucks that George Takai is a gonner. I really like seeing him on tv. His appearances are too few and far between. Then, you never know. Maybe he's not gone. I'm kinda tired of the thing with Clair. I don't really care what happens to her. Hiro is awesome. I love just about anything he's involved in. I kinda missed who was in the shipping box. I was busy and looked away for just a minute and then it was over. If anyone would like to fill me in, feel free.

Chuck - Not too bad. A little silly, but looks like it could be interesting. The acting wasn't bad. Loved the Tony Todd appearance. That's all I have to say on that.

K-ville - This one looks like it could get good. I expected more humor, but I like it kinda serious. I'll keep watching for a while.

Journeyman - It's kinda been done before, but I like the way they introduced the idea. Maybe a "why" in the near future will help. It jumped around a little too much for my tastes. I like the way he was able to prove it to his wife. I didn't want everyone doubting him the whole time.

I can;'t remember everything that will be on tonight. I know there was something at 8:00 I was planning on catching, then I think it's Reaper at 9:00. Law & Order looks good, too. I'll probably catch that, too. I wish I could remember what's on at 8.

The wait until October 4th is killing me. I'm in major "Supernatural Withdrawls". I picked up season 2 on DVD as soon as it was available, but I want new stuff. Bad!

The Upside Down Show

I love this show. My niece is 5 years old. She is special needs and is often pretty unresponsive to television. She watches the Upside Down Show with undivided attention, and laughs the whole time. I sit and watch it with her every chance I get. It is so funny, I find myself laughing whole-heartedly along with her. It's a favorite in my house. Shane and David are incredibly talented, and You can't help but enjoy watching their performance regardless of your age. I reccommend this show to anyone who likes to sit and watch tv with their kids. You won't be bored and you'll laugh the whole time.

Crossroad Blues
Avg Score: 9.31    Total Ratings: 669    Total Reviews: 57
"Crossroad Blues" is one of my favorite episodes of the series. It is a great classic story. The research and backstory was extensive and well thought out. I love that the one person they were able to save had sacraficed himself for someone else. Dean made an excellent point about the selfishness of the man's sacraficing himself for his wife, but I still think it was the ultimate gesture of his love for his wife. The soundtrack for his episode was great. I've always liked the music they play on Supernatural, but the use of the blues and the Johnson legend was inspired. The basic idea had been done before in movies and tv, but never so well. (If you liked the idea of the story, check out the movie "Crossroads" with Ralph Macchio)

Kirsten Vangsness
Avg Score: 9.26    Total Ratings: 71    Total Reviews: 5
Kirsten Vangsness is talent personified. Her delivery is honest and fun. She gets excellent material to work with from the writers of Criminal Minds. I loved the way she reaches out to the other team members. It seams like her character was originally an after-thought, but I'm so glad she's become an equal member of the team. She is completely comfortable in her own skin. She's full-figured, but georgeous. She radiates self-confidence. She's a good character for younger girls to watch. I wish there were more actresses like her and Cameran Manheim, (probably totally blew the spelling here), who are beautiful in a realistic way. Thanks Kirsten for being human.

Tony Todd
Avg Score: 9.14    Total Ratings: 10    Total Reviews: 1
I love Tony Todd's voice. I could listen to him talk forever. He shows up everywhere, and I'm always happy he does. He is very good at playing a sympathetic character. He often plays someone who is doing something bad, but reluctantly or completely against his will. This includes his guest appearances on such shows as the X-Files, Smallville and Star Trek: TNG. It's been a long time, but I think his character in Candyman wasn't comepletely evil. Or maybe I just remember it that way because I just never want to dislike his characters. I wish he was on TV more. I think he could definately carry his own series. (Especially if he talks a lot!)

Timothy Busfield
Avg Score: 8.65    Total Ratings: 44    Total Reviews: 1
I have not seen everything Timothy Busfield has done, probably not even half. I'm writing concerning two roles I love him for. Danny on The West Wing and Cal on Studio 60. Timothy makes his delivery for humorous and serious dialogue alike, look absolutely effortless. I would even use the word flawless. Both characters were very much alike. Honest, driven and almost childlike in their sincerity. Noone else could have pulled off Danny's persuit of CJ, or Cal's snake under the stage disaster. Any other actor in the CJ persuit probably would have come off creepy, yet he came off incredibly sweet. The snake disaster probably looked rediculous on paper, but so believable without being stupid with Cal at the center of it. It's sad that both shows are off the air now. Maybe a Danny or Cal spinoff wouldn't be such a bad idea, as long as the writing and supporting characters are fine enough to support this high-callibur actor.

About Me

abbeymouse
I like TV, but have become very disappointed with so much of the business. Since when does a full season consist of four episodes? We spend more weeks in a year waiting for a new episode, than actually getting a new episode. I could atleast deal with 50/50. My favorite show is Supernatural. This show never disappoints me.
Favorite Shows Include: 24, The A-Team, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, CSI, Chuck
