Hello - I hope you are all ok and that you have had a fabulous weekend.

Life News : Haven't really stopped by here in a few days and my mum got taken into hospital on thurs so I am holding down the fought. Thought she would be out tomorrow but not yet it seems hopefully Tuesday. I've missed quite a few of your blogs so in a bit I'll see if I can have a catch-up its just finding time at the moment . BUT I thought I would drop by and say hi and give you all a little blog plus I do have some good news....

You all know that I am currently job searching urgh its a task I hate most of the time. However yesterday after coming home I had some post and one of the letters was from one of the companys I applied to - a job that I would be very happy to have! I thought here we go its the Dear blah blah we are sorry to tell you ... etc etc but no I have an inteview this Tues!! I am so nervous - Im one of the worst people to inteview as my nerves get the better of me - but still fingers crossed!!!

In life news: Well today I went to the agency - I am all registered now we just wait and see what happens. I have a consultant who wil help me look for the right job that I want - it does make me nervous though starting all over again but change is good - still thinking positive. Went shopping afterwards, was supposed to go with my mum but shes going through a rough time at the moment so the Doctor came out etc - but hopefully all will be ok in a couple of days. I brought a TV series when I went shopping today - its where my blog title comes from Can anyone guess which series its from?

Estelle Getty sadly passed away on the 22nd July

Mainly Remembered for her role in The Golden Girls but there were a few other thing I've seen her in and she always played such fun characters.

Well before I go - I was thinking about Childrens TV the other day of past and present - funnily enough TVfan blogged about this the other day - its like one mind lol! So heres a few of my faveourite shows that I watched when I was younger

This isn't really much of a blog today I will try and do that tomorrow. But I'm feeling in a lovely mood *NOTE to all I am not Drunk* and so I thought I would send you all out one of these...

Whether you have had a great day a lame day or a downright crappy day I am sending this out to all of you - because a lil hug never hurt anyone.

Thats really it for today guys - thanks to all who've sent in what movies they like keep them coming if you can!

BEFORE I GO

Here are some things I've learned from Godzilla, Gamera, Star Wars, etc.

-Any animal which isn't a human will grow 50 times its size when exposed to some sort of radiation.

-If some exotic pet escapes from its cage, it will likewise grow to immense proportions.

-No matter what city you're in, the streets are always wide enough so that giant monsters could walk on it.

-Many monsters, even machines, are somehow depicted in ancient myths.

-It takes only a few seconds to pick a name for an unknown giant monster.

-If a monster is evil, it has enough energy to spout an infinite number of energy beams from its mouth. If it's a good guy, it can only shoot at most 2 energy beams before it nearly collapses of exhaustion.

-A monster's energy beam can effortlessly destroy a huge, heavily armored robot, but takes 5 seconds to shoot through buildings.

-No matter where you are, there's always a clearing big enough for almost a dozen monster to rumble in.

-Giant flowers are always a problem. They'll either blow up in a mile wide explosion, or they'll mutate into vine-whipping, acid-spitting atrocities.

-It takes all the electricity in a city to power a handful of tanks.

-The power of a missle is inversly proportional to how much you talk about its "capabilities".

-Aliens wear pimped out jackets and know martial arts.

-If there's an object you need to destroy quickly, it will always have a near-inpenetrable energy sheild.

-When you see an ordinary building and its name pops up in the subtitles, the building will be destroyed in about 15 minutes.

-If you have a strange looking lightsaber, you are one of the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy.

-Tiny spaceships never get destroyed. Huge kilometer-wide starships will be destroyed in a matter of minutes.

Life news: Not much is going on really - had quite a calm weekend. I went shopping yesterday and handed in another applicaton form - so thats 3 potentials now. We bathed our cat today - something had disgustingly urinated on him cue one bath and one very unhappy cat, looking funnily enough like a drowned rat for a while. But on the bright side now he does look very cute and fluffy.

Heres a dancy song theme for you - can you see I have a thing about the movies today.

Continuing with the movie theme here is a list of my top 5 movies - there are loads of movies I like but heres a few of them...

1. Dirty Dancing: The ultimate in girlie flicks, When I first saw it I really want to be Baby when Johnny lifts her up at the end.

2. The Grifters: Its got John Cusack in it which is a massive bonus - I have a major thing for him! It's a pretty warped movie but worth watching for the performance of Anjelica Huston.

3. The Lion King. Yes I know its a cartoon - but how can you not love this story. From the songs to the characters its such a wonderful tale. Hands up if you cried when Mufasa died?

Hakuna Matata

4. The Sixth Sense. This movie scared me quite a lot - mainly the tape recording scene urgh. But I really love the twist and watching Bruce Willis's relationship with Haley Joel Osment. By far M. Night Shyamalans best film.

5. Bridget Jones Diary. Like Dirty Dancing - this is another great girlie film. I think I enjoy so much because at some point in the movie you can relate to her situation.

Well there you have a few of my faves there are many more but we would be here forever.

So my question is what is your favourite film and why?

I apoligise now for how gross some of these are!

1. Stick your open palm under the stall wall and ask your neighbor, "May I borrow a highlighter?"

2. Say, "Uh oh, I knew I shouldn't have put my lips on that."

3. Cheer and clap loudly every time somebody breaks the silence with a bodily function noise.

4. Say, "Damn, this water's cold."

5. Drop a marble and say, "Oh Dam My glass eye!"

6. Say, "Hmmm, I've never seen that color before."

7. Grunt and strain real loud for 30 seconds and then drop a cantaloupe into the toilet bowl from a height of 6 feet. Sigh relaxingly.

8. Say, "Now how did that get there?"

9. Say, "Humus. Reminds me of humus."

10. Fill up a large flask with Mountain Dew. Squirt it erratically under the stall walls of your neighbors while yelling, "Whoa! Easy boy!"

11. Say, "Interesting... more floaters than sinkers."

12. Using a small squeeze tube, spread peanut butter on a wad of toilet paper and drop the wad under the stall wall of your neighbor. Then say, "Whoops, could you kick that back over here please?"

13. Say, "C'mon Mr. Happy! Don't fall asleep on me

Well its been a better week then last -shame the weather here is not sharing my positive influence. Not much to report on life wise really - I have the agency meeting this week *crosses fingers* and I filled out an application to work in a Book Publishing company which would also be great!

Lie to Me - I love this programme, the panelists each have to explain a scenerio - and the other team have to guess whether its true or false very funny espesh some of the stories they come up with.

Chicago Hope: I forgot how good this show was! Its on Zone Romantica at the moment and Geiger the wonderful Mandy Patinkin is back in it.

Probably more Will and Grace had no idea that Julian McMahon had a very small cameo in it.

So I am no longer wallowing and am here to post a bright and happy blog! Thanks for the other day guys *hugs* - as SweetPea and few of you said Shiny Happy People are overated - but still just for them:

I did have some good news the other day - an agency as found my CV in CV libary and wants to help me find some work so next week - i go meet with them etc yay!

Well this is pretty much from me tonight but before I go I have discovered many new programmes so here is my top 5 I am loving at the moment in no particular order:

1 NCIS - I really like this show and I have to say I have a small crush on Mcgee!!

2 Criminal Minds - I had heard of this show but never watched it. I'm so glad I got into it fave character at the moment is Reid.

3 The Hills - yes yes yes I know trash TV but great to just sit down and watch when there is nothing on.

4 Midsommer Murders - think this mainly on in the UK - I love attempting to solve the mysterys on a sunday night!

5 Will and Grace - I dug out the old DVD's I still love this programme - currently watching season 2.

I will look at all of your blogs over the next day or so to see what I have missed in the last couple of days to catch up on them.

I soo wanted to put a good blog up today - but its just been one of those days.

I feel like everythings crashing around me -whatever I seem to do just seems to go wrong and then I get angry or upset and I'm trying so hard to be positive and its just not working.

But I think I'm just going to curl up and see if I can get it out of my system. Im sorry guys I don't mean to be such a downer.

Gloria was absent yesterday as she was having a gangover.

Maryann was absent December 11-16, because she had a fever, sore throat, headache, and upset stomach. Her sister was also sick, fever and sore throat, her brother a low grade fever and ached allover. I wasn't the best either, sore throat and fever. There must be something going around, her father even got hot last night.

A happier blog today - although its been a lousy week, I'm going to be happy and remain positive - plus I had a mini crying fit when my computer froze during an application form yesterday - and I don't want a repeat of that lol.

After a few seconds, Little Johnny stood up. The teacher said, "Do you think you're stupid, Little Johnny?"

"No, ma'am, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself!"

A short blog today as its not been the best of days.

Has you know today we found out whats happening with our jobs - well we're being made redundant - so in about 3 months we are gone . As I have just been there for under 2 years - I will get no extra pay, so now its time to see what else I can find. Being told was horrible - everybody cried - a part of me really did think we may stay.

I'm going to be positive though - new doors will open etc.

So I thought I'd do a short blog with some things to make us all smile.
