On paper, aside from the Punk/Kane vs Daddy/Henry match (and arguably Khali v Finlay), this was a very strong card. It didn't quite deliver but offered a few surprises at least.
MVP's count-out loss was frustrating to say the least - I was very disappointed and would have preferred even an MVP cheating victory.
Big Daddy V pinning Punk in the tag match was great - also a way to cement him as ECW's monster heel.
Jeff Hardy beating Triple H marked the night's highlight - very unexpected, although Jeff will probably get screwed out of wrestling at the Rumble, and even if he doesn't, he certainly won't win that match.
Finlay beating Khali was fun - predictable but an interesting bout.
Jericho so nearly beating Orton and then getting punted by JBL was a shame, and again it was expected that Jericho would somehow get the shaft. Also, this seems to be a de-push of sorts for Jericho if he is to feud with JBL, although given the rumours of his contractual stipulation of a title reign, hopefully not for too long.
Edge winning, and his attempts to confuse his opponents, were great. I'm assuming that every Triple Threat match is now No DQ or something, because I had no idea otherwise.
Edge and Jeff winning were the highlights, Jericho losing was a downer, but overall this could have been far worse, even if the first two matches didn't set a particularly good precedent.

It was nice to see Funaki used again, even if he was just completely squahed by Edge...
The Last Man Standing match left a sour taste, as the ending was pretty dire - how the HELL did Kane stay down from a sloppy spinebuster that didn't even break the table!?
Jesse and Festus garnered a win over Miz and Morrison finally - it's about time. Is there gold in their future? We shall see. I don't think they're ready yet, but down the road? Sure.
Jamie Noble was on top form once again - he plays his character to a T, and I hope the story arc goes the way it seems to be, with Michelle warming to him and ditching Chuck. After all, they are both Southerners!

Impact began with an interesting Fatal 4 Way match, whereby the "Deal or No Deal" ripoff game show essentially began. It was a pretty silly idea and unnecessary, particularly the ridiculous music playing in the background, and Borash saying "...after this commercial!" was cringe-worthy.
Once again, Rellik clocks up a loss - are we up to four now? This is beyond stupid booking, and I feel bad for Johnny the Bull, who is above such foul treatment. Now Judas Mesias is back, perhaps he'll get some victories as Abyss has other concerns.
Nash was the highlight of the night, just telling it how it is - "Doing what I usually do, sitting here, doing nothing, and getting paid for it". Hilarious.

Why on Earth was Kelly Kelly booked in a handicap match? A totally ridiculous and silly booking decision - it's just stupid.
Also, why did Batista fight Burke AGAIN!? We saw this on Smackdown last week, and that was a pretty decent match, but this just seemed like a needless rehash.
We're subjected to the boring, horrendously cheap looking Kofi Kingston promo, and the only real gem of the show was Shelton's "gold digger" promo, which reminds us that Benjamin's skills are improving every week. Hopefully Shelton will be pushed towards the ECW Title soon enough, as he can certainly hold his own against CM Punk.

I have to say that, given the TV.com score of this episode, I expected more. Nonetheless, this was better than it needed to be to get things moving. The brief interlude with Julia and Olivia being kidknapped ran far shorter than I expected or it should have - I expected it to run for the entire duration of the episode, resulting in some form of a death perhaps.
Death seemed to pervade through the episode, resulting in Matt's rather unfortunate situation at the end of the show. I was expecting Matt to be killed in the meth explosion, yet at the same time, one must consider the episode "Connor McNamara 2029", which, if we assume it to be an accurate prediction of the future, tells us that no primary players will die.
The alien storyline was interesting, and rather smartly, as with the "Agatha Ripp" episode, they didn't delve too far into the transcendtal and kept things ambiguous.
