Editor for a Show - Tin Man
After a ton of hardwork and determaination (and almost getting a tos for submiting too much at one time) I became editor for Tin Man this week. I really loved this miniseries and I hope that Sc-Fi channel continues the story someway. Right now I'm getting a good amount of people submitting information to it (more than I've ever gotten with my people) but I think that I pretty much covered all the good quotes in my sweep through. That doesn't mean I wont take a look at any quotes you submit I'm open to anytyhing that comes my way. If you haven't seen Tin Man yet it's going to be on again tonight at 5:00 PM. You might aswell set you DVRs.

Well since I told you I'm watching Pushing Daisies I guess I should put an avatar of the show in the vote. This is also the avatar I currently have a JD's (Sleeptight's) site, City of Angels.

I always like Xander in Buffy, and when I got the comic book I loved how he was sporting still sporting awesome eye-patch. This avatar could match my Xander sig too.

Tin Man and Heroes Episode Discussions
Last night the Sci-Fi channel mini-series Tin Man aired. It lived up to my expectations how about yours? We'll see what else airs from Tin Man this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Also tonight is the fall finale of Heroes. Which two heroes will die? Will the ending be rewarding? Discuss!

Tin Man "Parts 1 - 3"Discussion
Last night I watch an hour and a half of the two hour episode (with limited commercials too) of Time Man; I would have kept on watching it if it wasn't for school the next morning. The show had a clever way of making each of the characters unique and different but still keeping them to the base of the original character in the L. Frank Baum novel. Glitch is a man that had his brain taken away by the government because he was a genuis, Wyatt "Tin Man" Cain the sort-of bodyguard of the group, a retired cop that joined the resistance and lost his family because of it, and Raw a viewer with telepathic and healing abilites. They resemble Oz's Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion. No Toto though. I think the story is really great and even though we know the final resolution I am sure there will be twists along the way. And lastly DG the Dorothy Gale character, and lead. So what did you think of the first part? I still have to finish it tonight. I really enjoyed it since I am an Oz fan myself. I hope it keeps on getting better.

Heroes "Powerless" Discussion
I don't know everyone's opinionson the second season of Heroes, but I haven't been too happy with the way things have played out. They added seemingly pointless characters like Maya, and turned Sylar, Peter, and Hiro into a laughing stock (no powers, no memory... oh wait Hiro was already one). Nathan has had virtually no screen time and Niki developed another personallity (WHY WHY WHY). DL was never even mentioned until halfway through and Bob was just a pain in the butt. But this season hasn't been that bad. The past three weeks the show seems to be getting better, but this week will be the last one for a while (since Origins wont be on). First off, what have you though about the events that have happened this season? I know there are a lot of diehard fans that just love Heroes no matter what but, to me, you have to see a show's faults to be a real fan. I am going to watch it tonight and I wont stop watching it until it ends, I just think it could be better. Maybe this finale will help develope what may be a perfect third season.

This episode was bittersweet for me. I loved the suspense that arose when the nerve gas was in CTU, but was greatly hurt when I witnessed the death of Tony. The only regret I have about this episode is that I wish that Tony would have gotten a silent clock in the end.

Flashbacks:
In the beginning we see Jack flying a kite on a beach in Thailand. A young boy offers Jack some soda which he buys. A woman named Achara comes up to Jack and helps him fly the kite. Later on Jack and the woman go to a resturant owned her Achara's brother. They talk about who they are until her brother gives her a package that he says "has to deal with her gift". In what appears to be several weeks later we see Jack and Achara sleeping together. Jack complains about how he hardly knows her and what her gift is. The next day Jack follows her to a tattoo parlor. Achara says that her gift is to see into people and give them tattoos that define them. Jack forces her to read him. She says he is a leader and a great man, and gives him that tattoo. The next day at the beach the young boy then runs away from Jack, and Achara's brother's gang beats Jack up and forces him to leave.
On-Island(s):
Jack is moved from the aquarium cell to the bear cages. On the way he sees Juliet imprisoned and and Tom speaking with a mysterious woman. Outside Tom tells Jack that she is the sheriff. Juliet visits Jack about an infection Ben has after his surgery, but Jack says that he will not help her or Ben. At night the sheriff speaks to Jack. They take him to a room where the discuss Juliet's fate. In the morning Jack is visited by some others who say they are "here to watch". Among them is the flight attendant Cindy. Jack eventually ends up treating Ben's wound to save Juliet. The others leave for the Hydra island with Jack. The fight between Kate and Sawyer continues. Karl ends up leaving the two.
The island story wasn't that bad if you ask me. I'm just not that interested in Jack. And heaven forbid if we ever get another useless flashback like that I will probably shoot myself.
