I just saw this episode on dvd. I really liked it. I had some problems with plot holes and logic gaps but overall it was an entertaining, exciting episode.

When the team discovered that the missing marine had been drugged, wouldn't it be logical to investigate his date, the bartender and the waitress? Once Tony was drugged, it was pretty obvious that the flirty waitress was involved. There was no other way that the drug could have gotten into Tony's drink. I don't understand why Vanessa kidnapped Tony and didn't chain him or tie him up somehow. And how did she get him into the cell without Atlas seeing that it wasn't Sacco who kidnapped them? I don't really understand why she kidnapped Tony in the first place. He didn't suspect her and he wasn't getting close to finding her out, so why would she take the risk of kidnapping one of the investigators? And since he was locked up with Atlas, she surely meant to kill him. So if she meant to kill him, why didn't she just kill him in the parking lot?

They never explained about the bees in the container with the girls.

Since when are there rooms like jail cells in the sewer?

The way that Major Sacco drove up to the place where Tony and Atlas were being held, looking at the drag marks and coming into the place like he was searching for someone, I could tell that he wasn't behind the killings. But I don't understand why he didn't shout that he was there to help.

We, and Mary learned quite a lot about Marshall in this episode. What Mary referred to as his "insipid running commentary" actually revealed that he is very knowledgeable about a number of subjects. And he is a lot tougher than Mary gave him credit for.

There was one thing that bothered me-- character-wise. Mary was angry that Marshall missed the sabotage. But when Marshall was checking under the hood, Mary should have been watching the road behind them. By the time she noticed the couple, they had their guns out. When Marshall was leading Horst to the bathroom and when he was walking to the front of the SUV to check the engine, he was always looking around, watchful of trouble. Mary was too busy griping and sulking to be aware of their surroundings. If she had come out of the car and had been watching the road, the couple never would have gotten the drop on them. So, it was her fault that Marshall got shot. I did also think it was strange that there was so little blood.

All in all, though, a good episode. I hope that Mary will treat Marshall better now.

I was channel surfing and saw only the second half of this episode. I cried through most of what I saw. The dog made me sad, the calf made me happy and the fur stories made me sick.

I think that we've all the videos of the hunting of baby Harp seals. At the end of my review, I've added a fur story that might be too graphic for some. Check it out if you dare.

I loved how the ladies called him Sugar's "daddy" and he said that they talked like that because they were "girls". Still, he went to visit Sugar one last time before he left.

Some others have said that most of the meat industry isn't like that and the episode only showed the worst of it. Most of us will agree that the majority of the meat industry probably doesn't conduct business in that manner. But it's the ones who DO abuse their animals that need to be brought out into the light of day and exposed. Those are the ones that are being spotlighted because those are the ones who need to change their practices. I've heard of egg-laying hens who spend their lives sitting in a cage, just dropping eggs through a hole. When released, those chickens don't even know how to walk. Animals feel pain and fear, too. That being said, as much as Sugar's condition sickened me, that "rescue" was, in reality, "theft". If there aren't any laws against treating a slaughter animal in those conditions, then there should be. Otherwise, what the activists did was morally correct but legally wrong. For those of you who thought that this episode was too "liberal", the one that aired last night should make you feel better.

I heard about African cats that were caught in nets and killed with a red hot metal spike shoved up the rectum. This way, none of the fur is damaged for the "trophies".

Overall, this was a good episode but I have a problem with two of the storylines.

First, the fight with the bully. Early in the first season, Matthew and Zach both fought off bullies using karate, which their father taught them. It seems that the writers forgot that fact when coming up with this fight story. So why couldn't Zach deal with the bully himself? And, if he needed his big brother, why couldn't Matthew fight better?

Second, the HGH protests. If Ginny knows that Jill is giving the growth hormone and she knows to which patient, why doesn't she protest to the mother of the child receiving the injections?

Good episode. I'm glad to be seeing more of Jimmy. His feelings of shame at not "manning up" and his ultimate redemption were wonderful. However, I would have liked to see another secret of Jimmy's revealed during the hypnosis sessions. Presumbably, he is still seeing agent Michelle Lee since in the episode In The Dark he spoke to her on the phone and had to search for her lost underwear. It would have been fun for that secret to be revealed, especially since Liza Lapira apparently isn't actually on the show anymore. If Jimmy has stopped seeing her, it would be good for that storyline to get some closure.
