Art Institute

An art institute I'm trying to get into wants to see some of my portfolio and I literally got nothing to give them right now. The guy said they not expecting anything big, just a few sketches or something. But I literally have nothing at the moment. Alot of drawings I did have I threw away because I absoultely hated them. I don't think I can pull anything up in a short period of time..... I wonder what the official deadline is.... I hope its not anytime soon, otherwise I'm definitely screwed.

Random and off topic: I think I'm going to practice doing cartoon voices again. I used to be very good at sounding like different cartoon chars but since I had surgery 2 years ago ( I think it was 2 years ago.... maybe 1 1/2 ), I haven't really tried. So when no ones around I think I'm going to work on that.

Wow, I am pathetic

If I go a long time without using Photoshop I forget how to use cetain functions. I keep trying to make a new banner for my blog that been deleted but I'm having problems. Right now I'm currently wrestling the program trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. But it is aggarvating the h*** outta me....

OMG! Murder!

Two people got murdered in the town next to where I live! I live in one of these places where the most anyone ever has to worry about is a speeding ticket. I've lived here since I guess I was two and nothing even half this close has ever happened. I work at the Wal-Mart near where it happened. The shooting happened at the town hospital is what I heard ( when I say hospital, I mean a hospital that looks like something that was on the Andy Griffith show ). A man came in a shot a woman three times and then her husband once. He then ran off on foot, apparently they still haven't caught him.

The employees I was working with were saying that they should have put us under lock down in case the guy came here. I noted that they probably wouldn't lock down until someone actually got shot.

Gaz - best cat in the world.

My cat died......

The neighbor never kept his dog on its chain and it killed my cat. She was a housecat and somehow got out. I bought some flowers for her grave. My dad took the neighbor's dog and shot it ( Texas isn't the only state that has the death penalty ). I don't think the guy is going to notice his dog's missing anyways. I can't sleep now at night though because I'm so used to having to having her next to me at night I just can't.

I hope that dog's burning in doggie hell.

Can anyone give me a list of Warner Bros owned spin-offs? I know it kinda weird thing to ask, but I got reason.

That's all I can remember right now. It doesn't have to be a good or bad spin-off, nor does it have to be looney tunes related. Just a Warner Bros. owned spin-off. Cookies of all flavors to anyone who helps me ^_^ .

I thought this episode was pretty good, probably mostly because of the ending. The short gags were pretty good, where you learn that most everything that Max tried to pull on Buster to hurt his campaign ended up helping him instead. Poor Hamton would end up interviewing the same people all over again trying to get the answer to the story he was writing. And in the end the their was really it turned out his interviews were completely in vain. A twist gag ending with Max yelling that he had acne, and that Hamton went through all that trouble and stress over nothing.

There were some things I liked and some things I didn't like about this episode. Ending it with Sam and Danny getting together was one of the things that I did like. Without them getting together would have just sorta been like a hanging thread. One of the things that did bother me though was everyone learning Danny's secret. I was okay with his parent's finally discovering the truth as well as Valerie. But having the whole world know who Danny's identity just seems ridiculous to me. It defeats the purpose of erasing their memories the first time they knew. Tucker becoming mayor was defintely too much. I think they should have just restored the original mayor, with maybe Tucker getting some sort of honor. The thing with everyone discovering Vlad's secret I'm a bit 50-50 on. Its not so much the fact that they now know his secret, but how they learned it. Him simply revealing it to the world seemed very anti-climatic to me. Plot was I think it was very good, I just think it could have been better.

I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea. A few weeks ago, even though I knew the show was probably going to be bad I decided to search through youtube and watch a spin-off I had never seen before, Loonatics. Just as I had predicted, the show an extremely cheesy rip-off that put both looney tunes and action cartoons to shame. I decided to be fair and watch a couple more episodes. Nothing seemed to better my opinion of it though. The only character I really seemed to care for much was Rev. Danger Duck was extremely annoying, Daffy's ego is nothing compared to his, not to mention Danger seemed to come off as a coward to me... Although Lexi and Ace were supposed to be descents of Bugs and Lola, they seemed devoid of personality to me. Tech would have to be the runner-up in favoritism in my book. Tech seemed to be the one who carried the cynical nature of Bugs now, not Ace. Except for an occasional classic road-runner/Wile E. Coyote gag that would occasionally slip in, I would consider the show a failure.

While most cartoon spin-offs are complete trageties, Tiny Toons is one of the few that don't disappoint. Even though most of the characters were meant to be younger counterparts to there "mentors", what probably made the show so successful was the shows own unique gags and parodies. The character I appreciated the most was Babs, because even though she was probably meant to just be the girl counterpart to Buster, she had a complete and unique personality of her own. Unlike the rest of the toons, Babs's personality didn't parallel any one else's. Shirley, was probably the second most unique ( though not necessarily second fav ). Although she is basically the "Melissa Duck" of Tiny Toons, unlike Melissa who always played the damsel in distress and had a distintive stereotyped southern belle accent, Shirley was independent without Plucky, and sported the 90's valley-girl tone instead. Her psychic abilities were a parody of the 90's new age movement, although a bit of the last Looney Tunes short " The Duxorsist " could have influenced them some as well.

A very good episode of Ouran High School Host Club, it does a good job of explaining why Kyoa who is the exact polar opposite of Tamaki would become friends with him and join , much less start something, like the Host Club. It also shows a little bit of the pressure that he is under from his father and from being the youngest brother. Tamaki, who was original supposed to be an "assignment" from his father became his first real friend. The episode reveals that meeting Tamaki became a sort of revelation for him, and he finally began to make friends for reasons other than business.

My name is Rachel, but I really Really prefer to be called Ray. I'm a quiet girl, and it takes a alot to make me smile. But I won't go into my life story with that. I like to draw alot, especially cartoons and hope to one day work in animation. If not animation, then comics. In fact, one of my dreams is for Butch Hartman to see the project I am currently working on, but my shyness and fear of rejection keep me from even thinking about joining his forum, even just to say hi to the guy. I where alot of black. In fact, almost every day ( I only don't when I either run out or I feel like wearing my Lenore shirt or my red I Hate You shirt ). I Hate pink, and will not wear it, will not Even touch it. I don't hate everyone in the world, but I trust very few. It takes a long time for me to learn to trust someone if I haven't known them for a long time, but I really am a nice person. I have epilepsy, so often in life I feel like I have been but in an invisible cage. I have super over-protective parents who have set limits to every aspects of my life. Another thing that really sucks is since I have seizures I am not allowed to get my driver's lincense, so my little sister is the one who drives me everywhere. I am now a college student, attending Calhoun Community college. Since its a community college, its pretty much a transfer school, so since this is my second year after making my portfolio I should get to transfer to a school that actually teaches what I want to major in. But even after I pass my parents are probably going to force me to stay here unless my seizures magically stop, or I get married one. I'm sorry, I have probably depressed anyone who has read this, so I will stop now. My favorite store is Hot Topic, my favorite kind of movies are action comedies. I love Mel Brooks and Adam Sandler films ( and no, I am not Jewish, so that is not why ) I just think they are great comedians. I listen to almost anything. Except Jazz. I LOATHE JAZZ !!!!! And while I am here I would like to clear up the stereotype about white people in Alabama hating black people, THIS IS NOT TRUE ! We have no problems with people of other races,... we have problems with anyone who does still live by such stupid stereotypes. Except Carlos Mencia, he can make fun of as many people as he likes. I'm not an outside person, and I'm not really athletic. I watch mostly cartoons, a few tv shows, but mostly cartoons. ABSOLUTELY NO REALITY SHOWS!. Oh, another thing about me that tends to attract people's attention, my birthday is September 11th. No, I'm not kidding, I was turning 15 when the attack on the twin towers happened.
