All I have to say about this is this, Mr.Chase this is your story fine do whatever you want with it. But when I watch a movie or read a book I want to know about these characters and what happens to them and now I'll never know. In some stories it's alright to leave a mystery in the end but this ending is just too damn open ended, we've been with these characters for years and I myself want to know how it ends. It's as if your giving me the story and telling me you make it up I'm out of ideas.
What was good about this finale..... Phil's head crushed.

This season and some of the episodes of last season had some amusing moments but there weren't any scenes where I wanted to laugh sadly. This episode was an exception I laughed and not once but a couple times that's the best feeling I've had all week, better than the crazy **** in my English class and that's funny.
The opening story was interesting ... a rival comic book guy in Springfield. He's cool and he feels modern and not like regular comic book guy who had the anti-social childhood. Now here comes my only complaint is that I can't even remember how the episode ended up turning into a story where Marge opens her own gym up. Somehow it did and I actually care a little less about that now because the rest is hilarious where Homer thinks Marge will leave him with her wealth.
Homer tries to impress his wife by having surgery to be thinner and soon buff. Two great jokes similar to each other come from this idea, when homer is skinny he has all this fat in his back and his back is all deformed, him trying to cover it up in bed was funny and the first look at his body in the back (soon he puts it in the front of him to hide it) was great. Then later Homer tries to become one buff monster which the episode sort of turns into a Frankenstein state. After Marge says something I won't spoil he says "I would cry if only I knew where my tears went." then a little bit later he tries to cry but instead the tears come out his nipples, hilarious when I look at that.
The other great moments are when the woman in the audience throws her baby away to get a free clock from Opal (Oprah when she talked to Marge.) Then one of homer's funniest lines," Marge we can start a new family." "Homer we have a family." he then says, "A better one."
The best part of this episode is that Marge still has the business in the end and doesn't give it up like most Simpson get rich themes. If they showed Marge and her gym in the next episode this would be one of the best ideas the show has ever made.

The Simpsons The Simpsons Spin-off Showcase Avg Score: 7.63 Total Ratings: 126 Total Reviews: 11 |
I think it might be a wonderful idea to do a spin off show if the simpsons should ever come off the air. Chief Wiggum P.I. (magnum P.I. if you didn't catch it already) and is all about the chief and Skiner in New Orleans fighting crime. it had it's moments and some halarious lines such as
"Hey skinny boy are there supposed to be any parades today?"
"Well it's been more than 40 years since I lived here but if I am correct they do host mardi....something." There's some silence and then they just open the windows and a huge ass mardi gras party is outside. Along with some others this was a pretty solid episode.
It's after this that things just seemed kind of weird, weird because it doesn't seem as good as other simpsons episodes recently before it. Moe has a love testing machine with the soul of Grandpa Simpson and about the only funny moment of that segment was when one of the kids was kicking the machine and Granpa stops him, the kid replies "He said i was gay."
Then the last was weird too, why couldn't they just put Lisa in it, some other girl was there and that always had me confused. Lots of singing, I get the refrences they've made but it isn't worth watching. This was always one episode that was weird and not up to the standard of most episodes.

This episode just had me hooked, with the wonderful acting, and that feeling is coming back that something bad is about to happen. There are some things that bothered me though.
One: Chris died tragically but not in the way I or others thought. Come on this is Chris were talking about, you would think some gun fight, come on this is the mob world. I'm glad though that everyones sad reaction to the news was perfect, how could they not mess that up. It's still painful to hear the words Chris is dead, but it's happened.
Two: Tony and that girl in Vegas (forgot her name) dragged on a bit. I just wanted to know where this was going and it went places and led up to a perfect ending (that desert scene you know) but it was all chit chat and some stuff said with inner meanings. All together though, this is an episode I want to talk more and more about. That asbestis crap being dumped into the lakes though, that got to me.

Even though the DVD covers of season 3 actually make me laugh, the show is a lot deeper than the covers make them look. The third season begins with bitter relations between Claudette and the Captian. This newwer force in another region called the undercover decoy squad is brought up and Acevada is looking into it which causes problems with Claudette. I hope this new squad story goes further, maybe they'll produce better results that might destroy the strike team's rep, this as well as the money train secret will be the main conflicts this season, I hope. It looks like Danny isn't out yet either.
