Hmm
Charlie's Angels has me puzzled. I watched the two movies today with my brother and his friends and it brings me to wonder. what was the show like? was it just the same but a bit more mild?

TV Mothers/wives
Is it just me or does anyone else realise that TV Moms and or Wives aren't all there?
Marion Cunningham. she knew cooking and cleaning and that was about it.
Lisa Douglas. she knew clothes and that was it.
Edith Bunker. she didnt even know cooking and cleaning.
Lucy Ricardo. Ok so she knew comedy, cleaning, and cooking.
Karen Walker. Ok so she wasnt a classic tv wife but all she knew were pills and booze.
Some tv moms and wives who knew some things!
Lilly Munster. She was basically the man of the house.
Carol Brady. She had a brain. She was full time mom with part-time cooking. but no cleaning!
Morticia Addams. So she knew some things sorta.
Samantha Stephens. She knew just how to solve anything.
So goes my list of classic tv wives and mothers who dont know jack. and a few that do.

Have u ever realized?
Have you ever realized that all the sitcoms today are all about sex and drugs? And swearing?
Thats why I love the classic comedies. Even if they have to talk about sex, they do it in a mild innocent masked sort of way. That sort of beats around the bush, where only older audiences would understand it. Thats why i love the classic comedies.

Viva la Bam Family Reunion Avg Score: 9.25 Total Ratings: 53 Total Reviews: 2 |
This episode is exactly why i watch this show. the insane random ass things that happen in this show is why i love it. it would be my family if my fat aunt was a guy, my brother was a pro skateboarder and we could afford all the random things that go on in this show. Like an elephnat showing up at our family reunion, or knocking out our front door to build a draw bridge for all my fat relatives. Also i love Compton Ass Terry. He's so flippin funny. because hes from Compton. my mother cant stand this show and i dont understand why....any others feel this way?

Green Acres Avg Score: 8.58 Total Ratings: 352 Total Reviews: 25 |
Nobody knows I watch this and for the reason that most would make fun of me for it. Sure most episodes have you sitting there shaking your head at the dumb things the writers have Lisa say or do, and the way Oliver is the only one in town with a brain but it is still absolutely hilarious what with Lisa's never-ending rendition of her hotcakes. and all the times shes burned the coffee pot to the stove burner, her pronounciation problems and how a fuse is a foose. It is a side splitting show that never should have ended, somewhat like Bewitched, The Munsters and The Addams Family. Even though Green Acres lasted 6 seasons I still think it could have lasted longer.

Saturday Night Live Avg Score: 8.54 Total Ratings: 3265 Total Reviews: 181 |
I used to only like the 90s and up as far as Saturday Night Live was concerned. You know Mike Meyers, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Farley, Julia Sweeney, Molly Shannon, Victoria Jackson, Cheri Oteri, Dana Carvey, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, Kevin Nealon, Will Ferrel, Darrell Hammond, Ana Gasteyer the gang you know.
I had seen the 1985 episode on E! where Pee Wee Herman hosted and i didnt find it funny so i stuck to the episodes and sketches i loved.
The other day however my mother bought the Best of Gilda Radner and made me watch it with her. It opened me up to embrace the earlier seasons. I mean Roseanne Rosannadanna? How could anyone not love that? I mean COME ON! Unfortunatly the only time we can now see the episodes from the 70's in at three o'clock in the morning after the previous airing of Saturday Night Live. NBC should really start realeasing the season sets on DVD starting with the first season. The show saved the network, at least show it some respect.
