Justice League Unlimited Alive! (1) Avg Score: 9.47 Total Ratings: 179 Total Reviews: 12 |
I LOVED this episode; Luthor's plotting, the supervillain battle, the end of Grodd, but I have a few problems with it.
1) What Luthor did to Goldface didn't seem like that much of threat, considering he was fighting later on.
2)The bad guy battle was good, but it didn't really say much about their powers. Some of the villains just threw punches at each other.
That said, I love this episode. Luthor really came prepared, with the means to take down Grodd and Tala on hand, and the way he finished off Grodd was pure classic Lex.
The awesome cliffhanger left on the edge of my seat; I couldn't wait for more!

The Raccoons Easy Money Avg Score: 9.30 Total Ratings: 1 Total Reviews: 1 Users who agree: 1 |
I haven't seen too many episodes of The Raccoons, but I know a good one when I see it! It had a pretty decent storyline and some funny moments. I especially liked Lisa and Bentley in this episode. They're like most brothers and sisters; They fight alot, but they still care about each other.
We also see more of Cyril Sneer's caring side in this episode; He was worried when Snag ran away, and seemed genuinely concerned when he heard Bentley was trapped.
The best part of the episode was the song "Restless in the Night", sung by Lisa Lougheed. It was eerie, yet entertaining.
All in all, this is a solid episode; A good example of what the series is like, and one of my favourites!

Transformers Cybertron Showdown Avg Score: 9.54 Total Ratings: 9 Total Reviews: 2 Users who agree: 1 |
The time has finally arrived! The two most powerful Decepticons throw down over the Omega Lock! It was a great battle; The two of them seemed quite evenly matched, and they kept pulling off one cool move after another. Starscream was particulary impressive; His speech about determination was inspiring,(With an attitude like that, he'd make a pretty good Autobot)but Galvatron finally prevailed, making off with the Omega Lock and leaving the Autobots stranded, which sets things up beautifully for the next episode (Bring it on, I say).
All in all, this is a must-see episode for any Transformers fan worth his Energon!

Transformers Cybertron Ambush Avg Score: 9.22 Total Ratings: 9 Total Reviews: 1 Users who agree: 2 |
Unbelievable; Three top episodes in a row! And this is the best yet!
The battles are great; Scourge VS Override, I have been waiting for that one all season! Planet leader against Planet leader: They were pretty evenly matched.
Now, as for Jetfire and Thundercracker's tussle, it really added some new sparkle to characters that have been with us from the beginning (And to think, I thought they were getting stale).
Now, on to Thunderblast and Lori: Not to sound sexist, but I loved hearing their little cat-spat, and watching each of them turn Scourge into a whimpering heap was cool too. Lori used her brains to outsmart Thunderblast in her own element, proving once again that brains can beat brawn anyday of the week!
All in all, a top episode, and I can tell Scourge's doubts will set things up for future eps (Can't wait to see 'em).

There are a lot of things to like about this episode: Koby's Scrapmetal suit, Sideways and Soundwave's mysterious conversation, the Autobot's search for the Gigantion Cyber Planet Key, but the best part is the antics of everyone's favourite Velocitronian street punks!
Yes, Ransack and Crumplezone were at their comedy best in this episode, wether it was their Team Rocket style intro, playing catch with Jolt, or their hilarious wisecracks! Those two are the best characters on the show in my opinion, even if they do always lose!
