OK, this was better than the premiere, by a long shot! I'm liking the character of Ruby, but I'm not quite sold on the actress or how the writers/directors/costumers are choosing to portray her. Here we go to concept vs. execution. Concept I'm feeling good on, but execution - I'm feeling like KC is overacting a little at the moment and enough with the hair, please! It's too perfect... But once KC gets into her groove, I think this could be a good character.

I thought they overdid it with Ben, just a bit. He was too much of a mini-Dean for my taste. It was funny for a while and then I started just rolling my eyes. No need to bang us over the head, we get it!

This season so far the boys feel very disconnected, both emotionally and physically. Their separations so far stand out to me. I think a lot of that's intentional due to the deal, but I hope they reconnect soon. I miss my boys :)

Sera Gamble, fantastic job with Dean and Lisa's talk, it was poignant and heartfelt and believable for me. And JA nailed it, didn't go over the top. Seeing that scene really helped take the edge off the manic and assure us that he's still Dean under there - I wasn't too worried, but too much of that mania would have begun to grate on me.

And I loved the changelings! Very well done, creepy little buggers :) I liked the focus on Katie and her mom, which was a different way to use the guest stars and further the story which worked very nicely for me.

I was disappointed with parts of this season opener. Seven baddies, Dean's deal, three new hunters - it felt like there was too much going on for just one episode. This should have been a two-parter, I think it would have been much more fulfilling. As it was, I thought it was all slightly anti-climatic. They took out all seven sins in just one night? I know they're good hunters, but...I think the writers could have had so much fun with this subject and the time constraint really showed.

And I'm not casting judgment on Ruby yet, but I didn't like how she was introduced - it's just what so many feared, she's more bad-a** than the boys. I think something a little more subtle would have been good. Though I will admit I loved her knife ;)

Though the ending conversation between Dean and Sam made up for a lot! I thought it was nicely written, and I thought they did a great job capturing Dean's current "devil may care" (pardon the pun) attitude. I think we'll be seeing a lot of facets to his emotions in the upcoming episodes.

So, I was a huge fan of Robin of Sherwood back in - gasp, was that the 80's? I think it was. I'm showing my age now...
It was also a British production, and I thought it was just brilliant. So imagine my happiness when I discovered there was a new one!

The first few episodes, I admit to mainly watching for what was the same and what was different between the two shows. I currently still prefer the old one, but this one is definitely growing on me.

I'm only through Season 1 at this point, so I'm hoping that the storyline and characters will continue to get fleshed out going forward. While the show is fun, it's currently lacking the depth and mysticism that set Robin of Sherwood apart. But it's still worth checking out!

I have to say, I loved this episode, it's probably one of my favorites this season. I love me some angst, but a break from it was just what the doctor ordered. Having snarky Dean back - made my day!

I loved the opening! I always wait 20 minutes on the DVR so I can fast forward my commercials, and I was like - what the, where's the NOW? I didn't think it was the real news, but I thought somehow my DVR skipped or something. Very clever!

Great costumes - FBI, security men and (oh kill me now) SWAT uniforms!

The introduction of Agent Henriksen was well done, I'm sensing a worthy adversary. That scene with him and Dean on the phone was superbly done, just enough to keep the mythology moving and not be a total standalone epi. Have to wonder if the name is a nod to Lance Henriksen of Millenium, created by Chris Carter. I like to think so!

And finally, Renegade, perfect song choice as always. Seriously, this episode had it all, I can't wait for next week!

Clowns are freaky, I'm going to have to agree. What with "It," "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" and now ELaC - it's truly official! I don't think even as a child that I would have let that clown into my house!

Great mix of angst and comedy in this episode. After the finale and the premiere, we needed a little levity and Shiban balanced it very nicely. It was great to see Metallicar again, though she's definitely looking a little under the weather. And though I never would have expected it, Dean takes some frustration out on her. I guess the saying is true, we only hurt the ones we love.

Having read some spoilers, I was a little leery of the character Ash, but I ended up really liking him. Looking forward to the return of all the Roadhouse characters.
