Dexter part 2
What a great show was that. I just finished watching both seasons, and i loved it. Altough i think season 2 had a slow start it had a nice stunning end.
But i am not so sure if its going for a thirth season since it most likely gonna be hard to make a new story line. With a bit of luck the writers had a insane idea and gonna implant that in to a thirth season.
For now i am gonna start on Jericho since a friend told me i should start watching it.
By the way i said to my friend that he should start watching Dexter so i gave him the first season. The next morning he text me and said "Thx for ruening my sleep, i've been watching the whole season last night
..."
Up to jericho !

Dexter
today, i started watching dexter. Damn this is mind blowing. Its a whole new idea of a serie. I never really liked blood or so in horror movies but this is different.
Somehow i keep motivated to watch the next episode. The mind of this Dexter is really sick and somehow really funny. I think its a great thing they did by showing his past in the series to give it more body.
Ill post some reviews on the episode list from dexter soon.

Upcomming series
I heard from a friend that Dexter is a great serie to watch. So upcoming week i wanna finish the last 4 episodes of "The Unit" and then i am gonna watch "Dexter". Tomorrow ill probably be able to watch the new Family Guy. I'm really exited since the last one "McStroke" was on that i didn't like so much. I think it had to do with the writers strike. A well ill see that tomorrow.
Another friend said to me that "Firefly" is also a funny series to watch so in the near future ill get the dvd's from him with the episodes. He said it was a action/humor/country/scifi/drama series. That is a combo that i have never heard before.
Anyway a lot to do and i hope to be able to post a review on the episodes.

Jericho Why We Fight Avg Score: 9.55 Total Ratings: 641 Total Reviews: 60 |
Some of the things that I really enjoyed about the episode were how Jack and some of the other members of his family were remembering a happier time in their lives when they were flashing back to Eric's wedding to April while preparing to fight their war with New Bern. It was during one of their flashbacks that I also enjoyed hearing the peanut story Jake's grandfather told Stanley before the wedding started when they were sitting in the bar.
One scene that I thought was priceless was when Stanley and Bonnie brought Mimi to visit their parents' graves. While it was kind of somber the way he was telling them that it might be a while before they come back to visit their graves, I thought Stanley's description of Mimi when he introduced her to them to be priceless.
After the war started, I thought it was pretty comical the way Johnston reacted to finding out about Hawkins' satellite computer by saying he was about to bomb the town that had the closest Costco. It was also neat the way Hawkins was willing to help Jericho after being found by the bad guys.
With that said, there were also a few parts that I didn't like: such as Johnston dying and the way New Bern was bringing in so many reinforcements that Jericho was more outnumbered than before. Another part that I didn't like was when Constantino told Jake that Jericho should give up the next wave of attacks while expressing his condolences about what happened to Johnston. Jake's response of "Nuts" to him was absolutely priceless.
Despite Johnston's death in this episode, Why We Fight is one of my favorite episodes.

American Dad! Avg Score: 8.43 Total Ratings: 8565 Total Reviews: 576 Users who agree: 1 |
It's not as smart, it's not as polished, and it suffers from the obvious way it was developed very self-consciously on a mirror image model of MacFarlane's better and more popular cartoon Family Guy.
It does have good moments, and occasional flashes of the same kind of brilliance that marks the other show far more often.
But the premise itself seems flawed - the best episodes are when there's an acknowledgement of the basic underlying criticism of the overblown American way of life.
If you seen the episode where Stan, who had not only never masturbated but considered it truly wicked, injures himself in a particularly sensitive part of the male anatomy on which he has to apply ointment.
It's the ignorance of the Stan character, coupled with his power both in the family and in the world, that should drive the show. Then the other characters could have freer reign against a stable core.
The thing where is not better then Family guy is that this serie has stan as the center of the show. When he is not the center of the show imo the show falls apart. In all the episodes the Characters have not developed themselfs to hold the family.
If you compare that to Family Guy in which Brian, Meg, Stewie, Lois, and Chris have all had episodes and storyline featuring them. The episode in which Stewie and Brian go on the lam, or where Brian goes to Hollywood, or Lois becomes a model, or Chris becomes an artist and the toast of New York... these are all classics.
Despite the fact it's going into its third season, American Dad still doesn't feel like it's found its tone. It feels shaky, and that's the worst thing a comic can do - let you see his insecurity.
Despite all that i will continue to watch the show cause i just like an afternoon with simpsons, Family guy and American dad :D.
It's so dramatic and suspenseful to have to deal with someone who's X number of miles away with limited supplies. What so great was to see a different side of House. You'd never expected the some of the things he said but it was still the same old House! I hope there are more to come like this but overall I was extremely impressed.
Can't wait till april when the show continues !
