So You Think You Can Dance is continually getting better with each passing episode. That's it - that's all I have to say - TUNE IN! You WILL be entertained. Peeved at some of the judges, but THAT is what THEY are there for. Seriously, this is enjoyable, comfy television fun - BRING SNACKS! You'll thank me for it later.
Eh - What are ya gonna do? My Pistons weren't in it and the Mavs, who I was rootin' for BECAUSE the Pistons weren't in it, couldn't pull it out if they tried. Miami Heat just kept the momentum once they got it and Dwyane Wade got MVP and yada yada yada. I am most happy for Alonzo Mourning finally getting a title after all these years. i bet he's glad he didn't retire last year now.
Well, I owe I owe off to work I go.
have a great day and looks like lotsa good TV tonight - Yowza!
Even though my beloved Rip and the Detroit Pistons aren't in it - the Dallas Mavericks and miami Heat have provided some of the best nail-biting television in awhile and I plan on tuning in. This could be the end of the season tonight, with game 6 having Miami leading the series 3-2. I am rooting for Dallas, but at this point without my personal faves playing - eh, may the best set of guys win. It has been a great show though and NBA Basketball is definitely Hollywood these days. Talk about glitz and glam! If you tune in - ENJOY! But beware of Hubie Brown, the annoying announcer - YOWZA!

I first really heard him speak at the National Democratic Convention some four years ago - and I knew then that someday he would be President, or at least run for that office. Then I read his books and listened to his speeches. No matter what I have always walked away holding my head up high, with hope in my heart and my own personal dreams and goals alive throughout my being. There aren't many 'celebrities' or public figures that have that sort of impact on me because, quite frankly, they are a dime a dozen. However, Mr. Obama is golden and I appreciate his words of hope and visions of humanity with a sense of purpose.
This viewer was invigorated from the first step. The dynamic and energetic top 20 showed exactly why this show is such a great summer hit. Overall, the sheer entertainment value of such diverse dances was worth the watch. The host has improved, as well as how the judges convey their opinions to the dancers. I agree with the notion that maybe we should get the opportunity to see the top 20 two weeks before they start picking people off the bottom, but other than that this show is nothing but pure joy. I feel this will be their best season yet and I can't wait for next week.
I was thrilled Yul Kwon won Survivor: Cook Islands. He was the reason I watched, stuck with it and thought this thirteenth season was stellar. So many times I have watched the show and was surprised by the end result. I guess, in a jist, one would have tobe on the island to really know the score. From what I saw as a vierwer this time around, Yul indeed Outwitted, Outlasted and Outplayed the competition and I applauded his character as a person. In this episode, it was also refreshing to see the contestants out of their element and dressed up, as it were. Sundrah and Becky looked amazing. Loved the show this season and can't wait for Survivor: Fiji.
Scene by scene, I see much development in the characters on Noah's Arc. There is a bit of a surprise with Victoria Rowell that just had me howling with delight. This season they are enrichening the dramedy by developing some of the more featured guests characters. The revelation for Alex at the episode's end is one we saw coming, but the way it was done was FABULOUS, honey. It has happened to me. I could so relate to that situation and Noah's Arc is certainly drawing their devoted fans in. If they keep going in this direction I may have to retract some previous statements. They are going to let us have, but good! Bravo!
In that delivery man outfit. I had to lighten upp from my last review because I am sticking with this show no matter what. I have made this commitment with other shows in my time and I think in time with the continuous above avergae writing the actors will fall into their roles and by the looks of upcoming guest stars the writing is on the wall already that this season will turn out to be a feast for those of us looking for a portrayal of gay, African-American males on a primetime television program. This episode seems to be a pace setter. I am thinking it can only go up from here. Wilson Cruz is a delight as usual.
