This show is a masterpiece. The writers are brilliant. I laugh so hard every time I watch every episode. The problem it that it is not possible to list every humorous detail because it is just one laugh after another.
This was the season finale and Leonard finally got the courage to ask Penny out. Penny, while portrayed as not very bright, is not as dumb as the stereotypical blonde looks because after too many loser type jocks, the audience can see the light bulb go on when Leonard asks her out and she says, "yes." Nor is Leonard as lame as the stereotypical nerd either because whereas she previously has only thought of him warmly emotionally, when he kisses Penny, she is caught off guard and surprised when she experiences a pleasant physical sensation.
It was long overdue. They could only stretch that unrequited love thing out for so long without it getting tired and old.
Does that mean the story ends? I don't think so. I think these writers are so incredibly talented that they can easily keep writing even if Leonard and Penny become a couple - the real humor lies in the bewilderment the characters experience when trying to communicate with one another in spite of the fact that their diversity creates a huge credibility gap.
And the warmth (which no good comedy should be without) comes from the fact that diverse people need each other and enrich each other's lives.

Okay, now this just settles it for me. If the writers are so sick that they kill JJ who is pregnant and happy about being pregnant and engaged to a nice guy who loves her who is happy too about the coming baby, that sucks.
And God forbid they should kill them both when they are so excited about picking out baby furniture, In that case, the writers really do need to get some help because that would just be sick, sick, sick. And if they kill her boyfriend, that would be SICK TOO. I realize there is a logistics problem with him in New Orleans and JJ in Quantico, but there are other solutions besides killing her boyfriend off and really creative writers could come up with another way - like what's wrong with Will moving to quantico and finding work there???
If they kill JJ, that is totally unforgivable. As a matter of fact, if they kill any member of the BAU, I for one am not watching this progam ever again. Honestly, not even real policemen get killed percentage wise all that often, and this is a group of profilers. It is very doubtful that profilers are routinely put in much PHYSICAL danger. They just have to go down into the mental, mucky gutter and figure out how someone who commits an unspeakable crime thinks so they can outsmart the unsub. They don't get picked off like frickin' flies and while the job no doubt takes a mental toll, they are probably not in that much physical danger that often.
I realize that for the sake of T.V., they have to put a gun on everyone's hip - even JJ's - the PR girl - which probably wouldn't happen in real life, so okay....that's a bit of a stretch, but I suppose it makes the show more exciting. But don't start knocking off the good guys. So far, they can redeem that car blow up by having it be an empty car. That's what I'm hoping. If some member of the cast wants to go elsewhere and quit Criminal Minds, for God's sake, do what the BAU probably does in real life. They probably resign. It is disturbing (and not very believable either)that people leave the BAU by getting snuffed out!!!

Great show. Loved Prentiss' new hairdo. The cut with bangs soften her already pretty face and she no longer resembles Mortica at all! She looked fabulous!
Kevin and Penelope were too cute! He totally gets her! He just smiled when she treatened to reduce his computer to a commadore 64 if he talked to Rossi and of course, he talked to Rossi anyway.
Not a really enforceable rule. I can see why they discourage fraternization, but when push comes to shove, they should have no right to tell anyone who they can get romantically involved with and who they can't. Not even FBI agents.
Rossi's learning that he needs the team. Without them, without Derek (of all people cuz him and Rossi lock horns at times) giving him his input, Rossi never would have put two and two together. More character development. Rossi who has a lot of money from the books he made a large profit on may be rich, but he has a heart and gives their old house to the victim's children after the murder is solved. I admit I wanted to watch Hotch kick that guy's butt. I loved it when Hotch said to him that he wasn't a 90 pound little girl that could be overpowered. I was thinking that FBI agents learn some martial arts and that wise guy was gonna wish he hadn't called Hotch out.
But it was even better to watch our wonderful Reid start babbling infinite facts and manipulate the guy into listening to someone talk about the only person he had ever cared about in his life - namely HIMSELF. Honestly, all unsubs it seems have that one trait in common. Didn't take a genius to figure that out, but our genius knew enough facts to keep the self-centered sociopath engrossed long enough for the guard to return.
Good writing. Heavy material with some humor and warm fuzzies mixed in so we (the audience) don't have to spend too much time down in the deep, dark pit. Not an easy task, but the writers did it!

Great Episode. Rossi really rocks in this one. He may have had a little too much ego involved when he was younger, but he has done some serious soul searching and maturing and growing.
Jill Morris is the young agent who is a little to interested in making a name for herseslf and she has spunk. I loved it when she said to the self righteous, condescending Hotcher, "What are you going to do, vote me off the island?" He then let her know he outranked her and sneered that they didn't need agents like her. Unlike Rossi, Hotcher never does any soul searching of his own. He is just always telling other people how badly they are screwing up (and this is the guy that sent Elle home knowing the unsub had everyone's personal information - never has he done one iota of soul searching about that!). As usual Hotcher is always pointing out everyone else's shortcomtings. Makes me wonder how someone who seems so utterly incapable of empathy can empathize with the unsubs to solve cases? Perhaps tight ass, perpetually holier-than-thou Hotchner can only empathize with the criminally insane and not other mortals??????????
Rossi on the other hand got out of himself and empathized with Jill Morris. He was a hero to her and at one point, she came on pretty strong to him sexually, but he obviously cared more about her than getting laid so he just tried to steer her in the right direction - help her avoid making some of the ego mistakes he made at her age. In the end, even though she messed up and almosts got herself killed, she's spunky still, still ambitious, didn't let the good old boys get to her, shame her or scold her or talk her into cowering, but Rossi's patience finally pays off and it is clear he finally got through to her as she started backing out of the limelight in front of the television cameras - all it took was one look from Rossi. She knew he was right. She knew by then he really did have her best interests at heart and she knew his concern for her well being was genuine. Great acting on the part of the actress that played Jill. Great acting on Joe M's part. Good show.

Dear Lord, please forgive me, but even though I expected Reid to talk Jack out of pulling the trigger, I thoroughly enjoyed the ending when Reid asked him "When does it (the violence) end?" as Jack hestitated while Lindsey whispered "kill him, Daddy Kill him" and then surprised all of us by saying "tomorrow" as he blew that murdering little rapist away. Good climax. Not what I expected. Good acting too by all.
I also loved the part where Jack shot the other boy in the leg and then said, "You have two legs and I have one question." So then when he asked where his daugher was, the suspect spit it out. I've always said the courts should just step out of the way and let the father of any young girl who is raped and/or murdered deal with the perpetrator however they see fit. That, to me, seems like justice. Sick I know. But I loved that ending. It was also realistic, in character for Jack, and believable.
