Oh my lord, chill out! Sopranos finale rocked.

OMG I can't believe everyone is making such a big fuss about the finale and Tony "not dying". i think it was perfect, i think he did die. The man that came in right before AJ in the diner, kept looking at the family. and then he went into the bathroom. came out and shot Tony. ***Come out of the bathroom withgun cockedjust like The Godfather*** is this too far of a stretch, i mean it makes perfect sense to me. the guy had just enough time to go in and get it, and then we hear the bells ring from Meadow entering the diner, and then black screen. could the bells and Meadow entering be the diner be the last thing Tony saw before his death. again, i can't believe everyone is b*tch*ng about the finale, if my theory is right then it quickly becomes the best writing in a TV series. PERIOD. the allusion to the godfather is priceless. And the Ford Excursion rolling over Phil's head was a great added touch by the writers. He got what he deserved.

So AJ turned out to be a big cry baby, eh? He was "so depressed" until his parents bought him a BMW M3, found a piece of high school a**, and blew up a vehicle. His character didn't develope during the course of the entire series, IMHO. He started out as an immature kid who had the world at his finger tips and ended the same way, that isn't character developement.

Overall I liked the episode.
I love to see Billy Walsh who is normally calm and collected, tense up and freak out when he is nervous about the film. The scene where he is frantically doing push ups and jumping around outside the door where Vince and Eric are viewing the first cut of Medellin was hilarious. And when Billy rides through the filmstrips on his motorcycle to avoid letting Eric and Vince see the film in the first place had me rolling.

IMHO, Drama gave his best scene ever when he told people the party was over. His tone made the scene. I seriously couldn't stop laughing. Even though it was easy to see coming. As soon as Vince and Eric said they had to leave, I knew that Drama would throw everyone out. But the way he did it was so funny.

I wonder how Medellin will end up doing? Will Vince's career be reduced to Broadway musicals, or will he continue to be a hot acter in Hollywood?

The game is on. Phil gives the order to take out Tony and his "management". A plan that has unfolded so far as according to plan. Bobby goes down in one of the best scenes of Sopranos in its' history. The train store was the perfect place to lay his character to rest. I thought the sequence with the train tumbling over the edge was a perfect conclusion to the scene.

Silvio's death, on the underhand, was unbelievably under rated. His death was horrible. The first shot that hit him was in the back and to me that is disrespectful to such a great character. He just seemed to die helplessly, not honorable. Finally, I hate to see the guys in hiding. Phil proved to be a worthy opponent with his plan against the family. By getting out of town before Tony even had a clue, was genius. I hope the best for Tony and company, but this is the sad end.

AJ's storyline is, less just say...a drag. In my opinion, it seems to be way over done. I mean as soon as we see AJ look into the pool, we all said "Suicide Attempt" in unison. But this episode was special because through his storyline we were able to dive deeper into the emotions of the family. The scene in which the family "delivers" him to the "Observation Unit" of the Hospital was very touching, I loved Meadow's support for her mother. The short scene with Tony and the guys was hilarious though. The conversation about doing drugs was fun to watch. Then AJ interrupts dinner. Then Tony meets with Phil about the asbestos ordeal. Man Frank Vincent did a great job with that scene. He played the ultimate son of a b*tch. You hated to see Tony not get what he wanted, but we loved watching Phil be a smart ass. I loved the Meadow/Coco storyline. I thought he had made a big mistake when he beat up the first guy, but when he said what he said to Meadow, I knew he had bitten off more than he could chew. (lol). Tony proved that he still shouldn't be messed with...so you better not cross that line. I died laughing when the restaurant manager said, "Get a mop". By the end of this plot twist Phil reminded me of the annoying kid in the neighborhood that owned the basketball. He was a brat but you have invite him. But in reality Phil might be more crazy than Tony.

This episode just screams KILLER finale,it should be GREAT. I cannot wait, but even I may become "depressed" when I realize NO MORE SOPRANOS. What a drag. I look forward to seeing how the big picture looks when it is complete.

Dexter is quickly going to grow into a huge show. The constant dark mood that this show takes you through is unbelievable. In the pilot episode, we are thrown in head first to the life of Dexter Morgan--a blood splatter specialist working in forensics at the Miami Police Department. Dexter, by day, examines blood left at crime scenes and intricatly determines what happened; but by night, Dexter devotes himself to bringing justice to the criminals that the Miami PD can't capture. In this first episode, we are introduced to the cast. A slew of fellow officers including Debra Morgan, Dexter's sister; Sgt. Doakes, the only character that Dexter says "gets the creeps from him [Dexter]", Angel Batista, Homicide detective that appears to be a friend of Dexter's, and Lt. Maria Laguerta, Dexter's commanding officer that apparantly wants more than a "work place only" relationship with Dexter. We are also introduced to Dexter's girlfriend, who is coming out of a horrible relationship and who also is a rape victim.

When killing his subjects, Dexter is very methodolical in order to cover his tracks. Every detail is investigated and carefully considered in the plans of his "project". Plastic sheets are layed down and hung on all surrounding walls to prevent blood contamination. Everytime, he ties them up the same way (with saran wrap) and cuts his victims the same way. First, a shallow cut across the right cheek. This wound allows Dexter to collect a sample of their blood, which he keeps chronicled in a wooden box, hid behind the radiator of the wall unit air conditioner in his apartment. After collecting the blood sample, Dexter presumes to saw his victim's bodies into pieces, which are then wrapped up with (what appears to be) butcher paper and put in boxes. He has this serial killer thing down to a science. This show is going to be great. The contrast of Dexter's two lifes are going to be fascinating to watch, along with the suspense if they are ever going to cross paths.

This show really caught my attention because i just got out of a college history course studying this time period. For some reason though the excessive sexual content was left out of my school learnings. I knew that during this time that men and women had very different roles then they are expected to have by today's standards, but i didn't realize how insensitive certain situations really were.
I enjoy following the characters in this show. They all have their unique and individual qualities but Titus and Octavian are my favorites.
Titus is the typical Roman soldier in the fact that he has a great appetite for women and wine, but Titus is also able to rationalize and reason with all people from all walks of life. Not to mention that he has excellent sword and war skills, he is a great guy to have on your side in any situation. Octavian, on the other hand, is still trying to enter into adulthood on his terms. He constantly has to face his mother and what she wants for him. Octavian is a very interesting character in that he is so knowledgable at such a young age. He understands war strategies, poetry, public administration and much more. Overall Rome is a great watch. There is much to learn from this show and the factual history of this era.
